George Rogers Clark held a 60-57 lead with less than a minute on the clock but GRC turnovers and Sacred Heart hitting their free throws down the stretch turned the tide for Sacred Heart. There were eight ties and nine lead changes in the game. Sacred Heart shot 37% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. They connected on 29 of 36 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 George Rogers Clark turnovers. George Rogers Clark shot 40.4% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc. They connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.
