Webb School defaeted King’s Academy by the score of 66-59 in a game that had three lead changes and 20 ties. Webb School shot 50% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line. The Feet connected on 22 of 27 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 King’s Academy turnovers. King’s Academy shot 37.5% from the field including eight of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lions connected on 15 of 25 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Webb School turnovers.

Daria Biriuk led Webb School with 26 points including four three point baskets, six of six free throws, 10 rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Makynli Bacon added 14 points including six of seven free throws, four rebounds, and five assists. 5-4 Fr. Ellie Landers recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. Jamani Gordon chipped in with six points and five rebounds.

Skylar Walden led King’s Academy with 22 points including four three point baskets, four of five free throws, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals. 5-8 Jr. Matazja Goins added 11 points including two three point baskets. Battle Ground Academy coach Trey Meyer syarted the following lineup: 6-2 Sr, Arnett Hayes, 6-3 Jr. Lawson Gillispie, 6-4 Sr. Dixon Adams, 5-9 Sr. Greyson Williams, and 5-10 Jr. Jake Harney. Providence Christian Academy coach Kerry Hammons countered with 6-10 Jr. Chris Washington, 6-6 Jr. Aiden Bolden, 6-11 Sr. Preston Wade, 6-1 Sr. Baylor Allen, and 6-2 Sr. Tryce Grensing.

Providence Christian Academy outscored Battle Ground Academy 28-19 in the final quarter to earn a 78-68 victory over the Wildcats. There were four lead changes and six ties in this game. Providence Christian Academy shot 56.8% from the field including seven of 10 from the three point line. The Lions connected on 29 of 33 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Battle Ground Academy turnovers. Battle Ground Academy shot 42.9% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc. The Wildcats connected on 21 of 24 free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 Providence Christian Academy turnovers.

Aiden Bolden led a balanced Providence Christian Academy scorrin attack with 20 points including 14 of 15 free throws, five rebounds, and four assists. Chris Washington added 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots. Tryce Grensing recorded 17 points including eight of eight free throws, and five rebounds. Baylor Allen recorded 10 points including three three point baskets and two rebounds. Preston Wade chipped in with eight points, two rebounds, two assists, and four blocked shots.

Arnett Hayes led Battle Ground Academy with 32 points including two three point baskets, 12 of 15 free throws, and two rebounds. 6-0 Jr. Elijah Fernandez added 10 points on five of five from the field. Lafayette Central Catholic (25-5) vs. Borden (23-5) Class 1A Championship

Lafayette Central Catholic coach Craig DeVault started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Carley Barrett, 5-8 Jr. Casey Schuessler, 5-10 Fr. Brooke Thompson, 5-4 Sr. Grace Bordenet, and 5-7 Sr. Maddy Bruce. Borden coach Matt Vick countered with 5-10 Jr. Emma Hart, 5-11 Jr. Ava Wheeler, 6-0 Jr. Riley Rarick, 5-5 Jr. AJ Mallad, and 5-7 Jr. McKenna Mullen.

Borden trailed 25-12 in the second quarter but finished the quarter on a 12-0 run to pull within one; 25-24 at halftime. Borden led off the third quarter with an 11-0 run to take a 35-25 lead in the third quarter on their way to a 49-40 victory over Lafayette Central Catholic. There were four lead changes in this game. Borden shot 39% from the field including eight of 18 from the three point line. The Braves connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 17 Lafayette Central Catholic turnovers. Lafayette Central Catholic shot 32.5% from the field including three of 18 from beyond the arc. The Knights connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Borden turnovers.

Riley Rarick led Borden with 16 points including three three point baskets, five of six free throws, six rebounds, and two assists. Ava Wheeler added 13 points, nine rebounds, six assists, four steals, and three blocked shots. AJ Mallad recorded nine points on three three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and five steals. 5-7 Fr. Saylor Schleicher chipped in with six pointsand two rebounds. Emma Hart recorded one point, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Kendal Hill led South Knox with 18 points including two three point baskets, six of seven free throws, 10 rebounds, and four assists. The Knights connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 19 Greensburg turnovers. Greensburg shot 31.1% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc. The Pirates connected on four of 10 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored four points off seven Norwell turnovers.

Vanessa Rosswurm led Norwell with 17 points including five of five free throws, 10 rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Addison Norris added 16 points including five of eight free throws, seven rebounds, four steals, and four blocked shots. Macie Saalfrank recorded 13 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Brooke Winchester led Warsaw Community with 20 points including two three point baskets, six of seven free throws, 13 rebounds, two steals, and two blocked shots. Frederick Douglass’ quickness and defensive intensity was to much for Sayre tonight as they forced 25 turnovers they converted ot 28 points in a 64-26 victory over the Lady Spartans. They also held an 18-0 advantage on second effort points. Frederick Douglass shot 41.7% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line. The Lady Broncos connected on nine of 16 free throws, and pulled down 47 rebounds, Sayre shot 27% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Spartans connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

Jaelee Knowles led Frederick Douglass with 17 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots. Knowles was eight of nine from the field and one of two from the charity stripe. Tamia Waide added 14 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and threee assists. The score was tied 11-11 after the first quarter but Madison Central outscored Madison Southern 21-3 in the second quarter on their way to a 68-46 victory. Madison Central’s pressure defense forced 25 turnovers which they converted to 30 points. There were two ties and six lead changes in the game. Madison Central shot 50% from the field including nine of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on 11 of 12 free throws and pulled down 24 rebounds. The Berea inside-outside combination of Kadence Stepp and Avery Plessingter was to much for Model to overcome as they combined for 33 points as the Lady Pirates defeated Model by the score of 41-31. There were four ties and two lead changes in this game. Berea shot 42.5% from the field including two of four from the three point line. The Lady Pirates connected on five of 19 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 Model turnovers. Model shot 28.1% from the field including four of six from beyond the arc. The Lady Patriots connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Berea turnovers.

Avery Plessinger led Berea with 18 points including two three point baskets, four of six free throws, and four steals. Kadence Stepp added 15 points, 16 rebounds, and two assists.

Model was hampered tonight as Harrison Parkhurst was injured minutes into the game and could only play limited minutes the rest of the night. Berea shot 46.2% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line. The Pirates connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 15 Model turnovers. Model shot 38.1% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc. The Patriots connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Berea turnovers.

Madison Central forced 24 turnovers and recorded 20 steals that they converted to 31 points. Madison Central shot 63.6% from the field including 13 of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on nine of 15 free throws and pulled down 15 rebounds. Berea shot 23.5% from the field including zero of four from beyond the arc. The Lady Pirates connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and forced five Madison Central turnovers.

Brittany Campbell led Madison Central with 23 points including six three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Campbell was eight of nine from the field including six of seven from beyond the arc. Nataya Strader added 11 points, teo rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
