Western Hills coach Geoff Cody countered with 6-4 Sr. Elijah Thompson, 5-9 Sr. Cole McDonald, 6-5 Sr. Javeon Campbell, 5-7 Jr. Cam Flynn, and 5-7 Sr. Connor Ham.

Western Hills defeated lexington Christian Academy by the score of 87-82. There were four lead changes and two ties in the game. Western Hills shot 50.9% from the field including 10 of 26 from the three point line. The Wolverines connected on 21 of 30 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 LCA turnovers. Lexington Christian Academy shot 51.7% from the field including eight of 19 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 14 of 16 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Western Hills turnovers.

Cole McDonald led Western Hills with 22 points including four three point baskets, four of four free throws, four rebounds, and two assists. Elijah Thompson added 22 points including two three point baskets, six of 11 free throws, four rebounds, and seven assists. Javeon Campbell recorded 15 points, 12 rebounds, and two assists. 5-9 Fr. Preston Clouse chipped in with 13 points including three three point baskets. Cam Flynn added eight points including five of eight free throws, three rebounds, and four assists.

Saxton Howard led Lexington Christian Academy with 40 points including nine of 11 free throws, four rebounds, and five assists. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donne Moir countered with 6-0 Sr. Za’Kiyah Johnson, 6-0 Sr. Morgan Frey, 6-3 Sr. Addison Kincaid, 5-8 Sr. Caroline Osting, and 5-9 Sr. Lydia Mabaya.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Notre Dame Academy by the score of 74-59. Sacred Heart Academy shot 46.7% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 21 Notre Dame Academy turnovers. Notre Dame Academy shot 39.3% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc. The Pandas connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 14 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.

5-5 So. Amirah “Tootie” Jordan led Sacred Heart Academy with 20 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, two rebounds, three assists, and five steals. Za’Kiyah Johnson added 19 points including two three point baskets, 15 rebounds, five assists, and two steals. 5-7 Fr. Riley Gilvin recorded 11 points and two rebounds. 5-10 Jr. Brianna Wilkins chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. Frankfort defeated Lexington Christian Academy in overtime by the score of 80-79. There were 12 lead changes and 13 ties in this game and the score was tied 71-71 at the end of regulation. Frankfort shot 51.9% from the field including 12 of 22 from the three point line. The Panthers connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored eight points off six LCA turnovers. LCA shot 48.1% from the field including nine of 24 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 18 of 32 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 16 points off six Frankfort turnovers.

5-7 So. Jacob Holland hit a field goal in the closing seconds to give Lexington Catholic a 55-54 victory over Danville Christian, There were seven ties and seven lead changes in this game. Lexington Catholic shot 50% from the field including three of eight from the three point line. The Knights connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 16 points off nine Danville Christian turnovers. Danville Christian shot 44.4% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc. The Warriors connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Ryan Harward led Lexington Catholic with 16 points including six of six free throws, three rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Max Meagher added 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Hank Woodall recorded 12 points and six rebounds. Jacob Holland chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.

Madison Southern coach Steve Wright countered with 6-2 Sr. Mason Davis, 6-1 Sr. Braxton Arnett, 6-4 So. Jordan Dunaway, 5-8 Sr. Casen Nobbe, and 5-9 Sr. Micah Whitaker.

Lexington Christian Academy pulled away in the second half to defeat Madison Southern by the score of 86-72. There were six lead changes and four ties in this game. Madison Southern was hampered tonight by the loss of star guard Casen Nobbe who went down with a knee injury in the first quarter and was unable to return to action. LCA shot 48.3% from the field including nine of 26 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 21 of 25 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 13 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 40.3% from the field including 12 of 35 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored six points off six LCA turnovers.

Saxton Howard led Lexington Christian Academy with 29 points including eight of 10 free throws, five rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Andrew Maggard added 25 points including four three point baskets, five of seven free throws, two rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Colt Cummins recorded 11 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals. 6-0 8^th Grade Chase Bentley chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, and three rebounds. 6-1 Fr. Great Crossing defeated Walton-Verona by the score of 72-52. Great Crossing shot 58.3% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line. The Warhawks did not attempt a free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 12 Walton-Verona turnovers. Walton-Verona shot 38% from the field including 11 of 29 from beyond the arc. John Palumbo hit a three point basket at the buzzer to give Sayre a big 57-54 victory over Henry Clay in overtime. The score was tied 47-47 at the end of regulation.
