Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the follpowing lineup: 6-4 Jr. Jackson Stephan, 6-3 Sr. Kade Hilander, 6-5 Sr. Hassan Bush, 6-0 Sr. Kayson Brown, and 6-2 Sr. AJ Dixon. Bryan Station coach AJ Dixon countered with 6-3 Jr. Taeshawn Adams, 6-1 Jr. Amari Owens, 5-6 Sr. Antowone Burton, 5-11 Sr. Justin Richmond, and 5-11 Sr. Rashaad Faulkner.
Henry Clay led 46-30 in the third quarter but Bryan Station outscored the Blue Devils 18-4 in the final quarter to earn a 55-54 victory. There were four lead changes and four ties in this game. Bryan Station shot 38% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 41.7% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Bryan Station turnovers.
Amari Owens led Bryan Station with 17 points including seven of 12 free throws, and two rebounds. Taeshawn Adams added 14 points including five of eight free throws, and five rebounds. Rashaad Faulkner recorded 13 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and two steals. Justin Richmond chipped in with nine points, two rebounds, and three steals.
Kayson Brown led Henry Clay with 14 points including four three point baskets, and two rebounds. AJ Dixon added 14 points including two three point baskets, and four rebounds. Jackson Stephan recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Hassan Bush chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.
