Abby Reitzel led Mercy Academy with 22 points including four three point baskets, seven rebounds, and three assists. 5-8 Jr. Maggie Young added 15 points including three three point baskets, and two steals. Carley Shephard recorded nine points on three three point baskets and four assists. George Rogers Clark raced out to a 20-8 first quarter lead on their way to a 55-49 victory over Henderson County. This fast start was important as Henderson County outscored George Rogers Clark 41-35 over the last three quarters. GRC shot 38.5% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Henderson County turnovers. Henderson County shot 43.8% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Colonels connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 GRC turnovers.
Kennedy Stamper led George Rogers Clark with 15 points including four of four free throws, four rebounds, and two steals. Jaileen Green added 13 points including five of nine free throws, five rebounds, and three steals. Ciara Byars recorded 12 points and five rebounds.
