East Jessamine coach Steve Bridenbaugh started the following lineup: 5-4 Sr. Reece Evans, 5-4 So. Yvette Faulkner, 5-11 Sr. Linzey Napier, 5-1 Fr. Kyla Hunt, and 5-3 Fr. Rickayla Hubbard. Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-7 Jr. Eden Carter, 5-7 So. Brooke Campbell, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 So. Nataya Strader.
Madison Central defeated East Jessamine by the score of 68-24. Madison Central shot 62.8% from the field including three of nine from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 34 points off 23 East Jessamine turnovers. East Jessamine shot 27.3% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jaguars connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored two points off nine Madison Central turnovers.
Brittany Campbell led Madison Central with 18 points, two rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Bailey Hensley added 16 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Nataya Strader recorded 11 points and four rebounds. Eden Carter chipped in with eight points. 5-7 Jr. Olivia Metcalfe added five points, four rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
Kyla Hunt led East Jessamine with 10 points including three of three free throws. 5-7 8th Grade Maddy Arnold added eight points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. Reece Evans recorded four points and 5-9 Fr. Kaitlynn Napier pulled down five rebounds.
