Pulaski County coach John Fraley started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Cayden Lancaster, 6-1 Fr. Carson Fraley, 6-2 Sr. Brysen Dugger, 5-10 Sr. Kameryn Hargis, and 6-2 Sr. Barek Williams. Madison Southern coach Bill Bevins countered with 6-3 Jr. Jay Rose, 6-0 Jr. Avery Davidson, 6-5 Sr. Brett Erslan, 5-8 So. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 Jr. Braden Hudson.

Madison Southern led by 19 points early in the final quarter and withstood a furious Pulaski County rally to earn a 79-74 victory. Madison Southern shot 64.4% from the field including 10 of 20 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 10 Pulaski County turnovers. Pulaski County shot 38.9% from the field including 11 of 27 from beyond the arc. The Maroons connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 Madison Southern turnovers.

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 34 points including three three point baskets, 12 rebounds, and four assists. Braden Hudson added 22 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Avery Davidson recorded 11 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists. Casen Nobbe chipped in with 10 points including six of six free throws (during final minutes), four assists, and three steals. Brett Erslan recorded two points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.

Barek Williams led Pulaski County with 23 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, and two assists. Carson Fraley added 15 points, five rebounds, five assists, and five steals. Cayden Lancaster recorded 14 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, and two assists. Brysen Dugger chipped in with 12 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals, 5-10 Jr. Will Blankenship added 10 points and two steals.

Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-2 Sr. Kascyl McGillis, 6-2 Jr. Brady Hussey, 6-3 Sr. Aiden Jones, 5-10 Fr. Athens McGillis, and 6-1 Sr. Evan Ipsaro.

Male defeated Covington Catholic 100-89 in two overtimes. There were five lead changes and eight ties in this game. Male shot 55.7% from the field including eight of 21 from the three point line. The Bulldogs connected on 24 of 29 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 19 Covington Catholic turnovers. Covington Catholic shot 49.3% from the field including nine of 29 from beyond the arc. The Colonels connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Male turnovers.

Jayson Gasaway led Male with 32 points including nine of 10 free throws, and six rebounds. Jack Edelen added 24 points including four three point baskets, six of six free throws, three assists, and four steals. Cole Edelen recorded 20 points including two three point baskets, six of six free throws, and five rebounds. Demetrius White chipped in with 12 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

Evan Ipsaro led Covington Catholic with 28 points including four of five free throws, eight rebounds, seven assists, and two steals. Kascyl McGillis added 22 points including four three point baskets. Brady Hussey recorded 16 points including four three point baskets, seven rebounds, and four assists. Aiden Jones chipped in with 10 points and four rebounds.

The Lady Centurions connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Great Crossing turnovers. Grant County coach Joseph Utter countered with 6-4 Sr. Dylan Hammonds, 6-1 Jr. Spencer Breeden, 6-10 Sr. Micah Wills, 5-10 Jr. Jackson Utter, and 5-11 Sr. Daniel Fox.

Grant County trailed 47-45 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Great Crossing by the score of 61-55. There were three lead changes and six ties in this game. Grant County shot 54.2% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. The Braves connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 49% from the field including five of 11 from beyond the arc. The Warhawks connected on two of four free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Grant County turnovers.

Dylan Hammonds led Grant County with 25 points including five of five from the free throw line, 12 rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Lexington Catholic held on down the strech to defeat Trinity by the score of 52-47. Lexington Catholic shot 35.7% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 15 of 18 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored four points off eight Trinity turnovers. Trinity shot 36.2% from the field including nine of 26 from beyond the arc. The Shamrocks connected on four of four free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 10 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Hudson Sparks led Lexington Catholic with 21 points including three three point baskets, six of six free throws, four rebounds, and two assists. Reece Potter added 15 points and 17 rebounds. Tyler Doyle recorded seven points and four assists.

Pikeville led Madison Southern by 24 points mid way through the third quarter and withstood a rally by Madison Southern to earn an 85-75 victory. Pikeville shot 56.9% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line. The Panthers connected on 22 of 30 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 13 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 43.5% from the field including 10 of 31 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Pikeville turnovers.

Madison Central rallied from a 40-39 deficit with less than five minutes left in the game to outscore Nicholas County 14-2 down the stretch to earn a 53-42 victory. Madison Central shot 41.8% from the field including one of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 22 Nicholas County turnovers. Nicholas County shot 31% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc. (Madison Southern were missing two starters tonight: Megan Correll and Tara Wooten).

Rockcastle County defeated Madison Southern by the score of 60-40. There were three ties and six lead changes in the game. Rockcastle County shot 51.1% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. The Lady Rockets connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 29.3% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-5 Sr. Gracyn Grantz, 5-3 So. Kierstyn Kelly, 5-10 So. Tess Nelson, 5-4 8th Grade Layla Flynn, and 5-5 Fr. Anna Clay Denton.

Bella Moberly scored on a last second layup in overtime to give Madison Southern a 67-66 victory over Lafayette. Madison Southern trailed 38-24 at halftime but rallied to force overtime and won in overtime. There were eight lead changes and three ties in this game. Madison Southern shot 40% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 39.3% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc. Lexington Catholic coach Lee Tegt started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Katherine Truitt, 5-7 Sr. Lucy Nash, 5-9 Jr. Lydia Kennedy, 5-4 Sr. Mary Martin Hampton, and 5-4 Jr. Sydney Elbert. Anderson County coach Clay Birdwhistell countered with 6-0 So. Lainey Johnson, 5-8 Jr. Jenna Beasley, 5-8 Jr. Faith Hyatt, 5-6 Sr. Jenna Satterly, and 5-8 So. Ella Baum.

Anderson County utilized excellent long range shooting (12 3’s) in a 72-40 victory over Lexington Catholic. Anderson County shot 47.1% from the field including 12 of 26 fron the three point line. The Lady Bearcats connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 34.1% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Knights connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Anderson County turnovers.

Lainey Johnson led Anderson County with 39 points including seven three point baskets, six of eight free throws, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Jenna Satterly added 15 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Ella Baum recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.

Mary Martin Hampton led Lexington Catholic with 16 points, two rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Katherine Truitt added 14 points and five rebounds.
