Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-7 Jr. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-5 So. Vince Dawson III, 6-11 So. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 So. Junius Burrell, and 6-4 So. Gage Richardson.

Lexington Catholic defeated Great Crossing by the score of 61-52. Lexington Catholic shot 42.9% from the field including five of 19 from the three point line. The Knights connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 37.3% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc. The Warhawks connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 10 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

John Reinhart led Lexington Catholic with 16 points including four three point baskets, two assists, and two steals. Reece Potter added 14 points, eight rebounds, and two steals. Tyler Doyle recorded 14 points, two rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Hudson Sparks chipped in with nine points and four rebounds.

Malachi Moreno led Great Crossing with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and seven blocks. Vince Dawson III added 10 points including four of four free throws, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Junius Burrell recorded nine points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Jeremiah Godfrey chipped in with four points and eight rebounds.

Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-2 Sr. Kascyl McGillis, 6-2 Jr. Brady Hussey, 6-3 Sr. Aiden Jones. 5-10 Fr. Athens McGillis, and 6-1 Sr. Evan Ipsaro.

Covington Catholic defeated North Laurel by the score of 69-65. Covington Catholic shot 53.3% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine North Laurel turnovers. North Laurel shot 44.6% from the field including seven of 24 from beyond the arc. The Jaguars connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 15 Covington Catholic turnovers.

Evan Ipsaro led Covington Catholic with 21 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and six assists. Brady Hussey added 11 points and six rebounds. 6-2 Sr. Ayden Link recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. Kascyl McGillis chipped in with nine points, four rebounds, and three assists.

North Laurel defeated Madison Southern by the score of 95-66. North Laurel shot 53.3% from the field including 14 of 27 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on 17 of 19 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 14 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 48% from the field including 11 of 29 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored five points off six North Laurel turnovers.

Reed Sheppard led North Laurel with 31 points including six three point baskets, five of five free throws, seven rebounds, 11 assists, and five steals. Montgomery County coach Dustin High countered with 5-10 Jr. Allie Dillon, 5-7 Jr. Reaghan Oney, 5-10 Jr. Shaelynn Harris, 5-5 8th Grade Elaine Purvis, and 5-7 So. Hayden Barrier.

The score was tied 31-31 at halftime but Montgomery County was only one of 22 from the field in the second half as Madison Central pulled away for a 52-38 victory. Montgomery was held scoreless for the third quarter . Madison Central shot 42.6% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 20 Montgomery County turnovers. Montgomery County shot 28.3% from the field including seven of 18 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on five of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 20 Madison Central turnovers.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 16 points, 15 rebounds, and three blocked shots. Eden Carter added nine points and eight rebounds. 5-7 Jr. Olivia Metcalfe recorded eight points including two three point baskets. Brooke Campbell chipped in with six points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Nataya Strader added five points, two rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Brittany Campbell recorded four points, four rebounds, six assists, and two steals.

Madison Southern defeated Clinton County by the score of 91-81. Madison Southern shot 58.5% from the field including 10 of 23 from the three point line. Henry Clay pulled away in the final quarter to beat Lafayette 47-40. The score was tied 10 times and there were eight lead changes in the game. Cooper coach Justin Holthaus countered with 6-0 Jr. Logan Palmer, 5-10 Jr. Maleah Alexander, 6-2 Sr. Whitney Lind, 5-8 Sr. Kay Freihofer, and 5-10 Jr. Liz Freihofer.

Cooper survived a late rally by Ryle to earn a 63-58 victory. Abby Holtman had pulled Ryle to within 1; 59-58 with a field goal and free throw with less than 30 seconds left on the clock. Liz Freihofer than hit two free throws, Whitney Lind recorded a big defensive play with a pass deflection recovered by Cooper and two more free throws by Liz Freihofer to ensure the victory. Cooper shot 43.6% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line. They connected on 10 of 14 free throws and pulled down 24 rebounds. Ryle shot 55.6% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Raiders connected on four of 10 free throws and pulled down 21 rebounds.

Whitney Lind led Cooper with 27 points and five rebounds. Kay Freihofer added 13 points and six rebounds. Liz Freihofer recorded 11 points and six rebounds. Maleah Alexander chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.

Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-2 Sr. Ayden Link, 6-2 Sr. Kascyl McGillis, 6-3 Sr. Aiden Jones, 5-10 Fr. Athens McGillis, and 6-1 Sr. Evan Ipsaro.

Covington Catholic defeated Highlands by the score of 71-51. Covington Catholic shot 47.6% from the field including seven of 23 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on four of four free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 18 Highlands turnovers. Highlands shot 33.3% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc. The Blue Birds connected on 14 of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Covington Catholic turnovers.

Evan Ipsaro led Covington Catholic with 29 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Ayden Link added 16 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, and three assists. Athens McGillis recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and five assists. Kascyl McGillis chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists.

Seth Ryan led Highlands with 13 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Brayden Moeves added 11 points including three three point baskets. Brody Benke recorded eight points and seven rebounds. Nathan Vinson chipped in with seven points and three rebounds. 6-1 Jr. Carson Class also scored seven points.
