Madison Southern coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Eden Carter, 5-7 So. Brooke Campbell, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 So. Nataya Strader. Frederick Douglass coach Darryl Moberly countered with 5-9 So. Amayah Maxwell, 5-9 Sr. Jermyra Christian, 5-9 8th Grade Jaylee Knowles, 5-4 So. Kate Baker, and 5-7 So. Niah Rhodes.

Frederick Douglass pulled away late to defeat Madison Central by the score of 67-58. Frederick Douglass shot 43.4% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Broncos connected on 13 of 22 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and committed 22 turnovers. Madison Central shot 32.4% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on seven of 18 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and committed 10 turnovers.

Niah Rhodes led Frederick Douglass with 32 points including six three point baskets (some from NBA range), four of five free throws, three rebounds, and two steals. Kate Baker added 11 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. Jermyra Christian recorded seven points and eight rebounds. 6-2 Jr. Ayanni-Sarai Darrington added six points and 14 rebounds.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 19 points, nine rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals. Brittany Campbell added 17 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and six assists. Brooke Campbell recorded six points on two three point baskets, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Nataya Strader chipped in with five points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Frederick Douglass coach Wes Scarberry countered with 6-3 So. Armelo Boone, 6-2 So. Logan Busson, 6-3 So. Aveion Chenault, 6-1 Sr. Tylon Webb, and 6-2 Sr. Kai Simpson.

Frederick Douglass defeated Scott County by the score of 71-63. Frederick Douglass shot 53.7% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. The Broncos connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 14 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 46% from the field including nine of 20 from beyond the arc. The Cardinals connected on eight of nine free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored seven points off seven Frederick Douglass turnovers.

Aveion Chenault led Frederick Douglass with 22 points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots. Tylon Webb added 15 points including seven of 10 free throws and four rebounds. Armelo Boone recorded 14 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds. Grant County coach Shawn West countered with 5-9 Sr. Emily Naranjo, 5-7 Sr. Sarah Scoggins, 5-9 Jr. Sarah Russell, 5-4 Sr. Dakota Rowe, and 5-5 So. Jada Cummins.

Great Crossing outscored Grant County 21-12 in the final quarter to earn a 57-52 victory. The score was tied eight times and there were 12 lead changes in the game. Great Crossing shot 45.7% from the field including three of nine from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 12 of 25 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 19 Grant County turnovers. Grant County shot 28.6% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Braves connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 18 Great Crossing turnovers.

Raegan Barrett led Great Crossing with 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Rachel Smith added 11 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Ava Schureman recorded 10 points, four rebounds, and four steals. Great Crossing outscored Madison Central 22-11 in the third quarter on their way to a 64-53 victory. Great Crossing shot 57.7% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on two of nine free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored eight points off seven Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 37% from the field including seven of 24 from beyond the arc. Anderson County captured a hard fought 43-39 home victory over Madison Central tonight. The difference in the game was at the charity stripe as Madison Central was whistled for 18 fouls while the home team Lady Bearcats were only called for eight fouls. Anderson County held a 20-6 advantage in free throw points. Anderson County shot 27% from the field including three of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Bearcats connected on 20 of 23 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 34.9% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off 14 Anderson County turnovers.

Jenna Satterly led Anderson County with 19 points including 15 of 16 free throws. Four rebounds, and five steals. Lainey Johnson added 15 points including four of five free throws, nine rebounds, and two steals. 5-8 So. Ella Baum recorded five points and four rebounds. Jenna Beasley chipped in with four points, five rebounds, and two steals.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 18 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Brittany Campbell added six points, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals. 5-7 Jr. Olivia Metcalfe recorded six poiunts on two three point baskets. Nataya Strader chipped in with five points and three steals.

Montgomery County trailed 46-40 after three quarters but outscored Franklin County 25-10 in the final quarters to earn a 65-56 victory on the road over the Lady Flyers. Montgomery County shot 49% from the field including 11 of 24 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers. Franklin County shot 33.9% from the field including eight of 24 from beyond the arc. The Lady Flyers connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and committed 15 turnovers.

Great Crossing coach Matt Walls countered with 5-10 Jr. Ava Schureman, 5-8 Jr. Olivia Tierney, 6-0 Sr. Raegan Barrett, 5-6 So. Meredith Turner, and 5-7 Sr. Rachel Smith.

Great Crossing led 46-31 in the third quarter and survived a rally by Madison Southern to earn a 56-54 victory. There were five lead changes and three ties in this game. Great Crossing shot 40% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 24 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 29.2% from the field including seven of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 19 of 24 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 20 Great Crossing turnovers.

Olivia Tierney led Great Crossing with 14 points, three rebounds, and seven steals. 5-7 Sr. Kaylee Ray added 10 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two steals. Raegan Barrett recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and two steals. 5-10 Jr. Ava Schureman chipped in with seven points, two rebounds, and two assists. 5-7 So. Chapel Brown added seven points and two assists. Rachel Smith recorded four points, seven rebounds, and two assists.

5-10 Fr. Laci Sandlin led Madison Southern with 17 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds. Hadley French added 13 points including two three point baskets, seven of eight free throws, five rebounds, and three assists. Tara Wooten recorded nine points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and three steals. Bella Moberly chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.
