Central coach Deshawn Pendleton started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Destiny Jones, 5-6 Sr. Anaya Asher, 5-11 Sr. JaLa Douglas, 5-2 Sr. JaKyrra Bartlett, and 5-2 Sr. Miracle Thomas. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 So. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-10 Jr. Reagan Bender, 6-3 Jr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-8 Sr. Triniti Ralston, and 5-8 Jr. Claire Russell.
Sacred Heart Academy defeated Central by the score of 75-61. Sacred Heart Academy shot 50% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 13 of 14 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 13 Central turnovers. Central shot 40.4% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jackets connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Sacred Heart turnovers.
ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart with 25 points including three three point baskets, 10 rebounds, four assists, and four blocked shots. Triniti Ralston added 17 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Reagan Bender recorded 17 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds. Angelina Pelayo chipped in with 12 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
Destiny Jones led Central with 22 points, 13 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Amaya Asher added 18 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists. JaLa Douglas recorded 11 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and two steals.
