Male coach Tim Haworth started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Demetrius White, 6-2 Fr. Cole Edelen, 6-5 So. Jayson Gasaway, 5-11 Sr. Jack Edelen, and 5-11 Jr. Max Gainey. Lexington Catholic Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Sr. Hudson Sparks, 6-5 Jr. Tyler Doyle, 7-1 Sr. Reece Potter, 6-0 Jr. John Reinhart, and 6-3 Jr. Brody Turner.

Lexington Catholic led 50-49 after three quarters and pulled away in the final quarter to earn a 69-55 victory over Male. There were eight lead changes and six ties in this game. Lexington Catholic shot 63.4% from the field including nine of 15 from the three point line. The Knights connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 10 Male turnovers. Male shot 43.5% from the field including 11 of 26 from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Hudson Sparks led Lexington Catholic with 24 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, and five assists. Tyler Doyle added 16 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and seven assists. Reece Potter recorded 11 points and five rebounds. John Reinhart chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.

Cole Edelen led Male with 14 points including four three point baskets. Demetrius White added 12 points including two three point baskets. Max Gainey recorded eight points including two three point baskets. Jack Edelen chipped in with six points, five rebounds, and three assists. Jayson Gasaway added six points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. 6-2 So. Antonio Harris recorded six points and two rebounds.

George Rogers Clark coach Josh Cook countered with 6-4 Sr. Jerone Morton, 6-2 Jr. JP Gaines. 6-8 Sr. Trent Edwards, 5-11 Jr. Reshaun Hampton, and 5-11 Sr. Sam Parrish.

George Rogers Clark raced out to a 14-0 lead and held off a Great Crossing rally to earn a 52-51 victory. GRC shot 40% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 39.3% from the field including three of 11 fro beyond the arc. The Warhawks connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored six points off eight GRC turnovers.

Jerone Morton led GRC with 17 points and five rebounds. Sam Parrish added 12 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and four assists. Reshaun Hampton recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Trent Edwards chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, and four blocked shots.

6-7 Jr. Jeremiah Godfrey led Great Crossing with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Junius Burrell added 18 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds. Malachi Moreno recorded five points, 15 rebounds, and six blocked shots.

Madison Central trailed 44-38 after three quarters but rallied to eke out a 55-53 victory over Henry Clay. Madison Central shot 38.6% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 52.3% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils connected on one of three free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers.

 Scott County defeated Sayre by the score of 65-58. Scott County shot 44.3% from the field including eight of 25 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on three of nine free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Sayre turnovers. Sayre shot 39.3% from the field including five of 23 from beyond the arc. The Lady Spartans connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 Scott County turnovers.


Maleiyah Moore led Scott County with 23 points including five three point baskets. Kierstin Young added 14 points and nine rebounds. Tyra Young recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three blocked shots. N’mya Summers chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, and two steals.


Kylee Dennis led Sayre with 19 points including seven of 10 free throws, four rebounds, three blocked shots, and five steals. Sophia Richardson added 18 points including three three point baskets. Madison Central raced out to a 23-10 first quarter lead, increased the lead to 22 in the third quarter, and cruised to a 65-56 victory over a good Corbin team. Madison Central shot 50.9% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 16 points off nine Corbin turnovers. Corbin shot 36.5% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc. The Lady Redhounds connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.

Madison Central’s pressure defense did not allow Harlan to get in their half court offense and the Lady Indians cruised to a 67-35 victory over the Lady Dragons. The Lady Indians connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 23 Harlan turnovers. Harlan shgot 44.1% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Grant County turnovers. Grant County shot 26.4% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc. Bourbon County coach Derek Robinson countered with 5-11 So. Bradley Robinson, 5-10 Sr. Cam Ron Goodwin, 6-0 So. Kaden Hilander, 5-8 Sr. Miles Ezell, and 5-8 Sr. Todd Dumphord.

Scott County led 34-28 at halftime but Bourbon County rallied to earn a 72-67 victory. There were seven lead changes and four ties in this game. Bourbon County shot 48.8% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on 23 of 28 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 47.1% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc. The Cardinals connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Bourbon County turnovers.

Todd Dumphord led Bourbon County with 23 points including two three point baskets, 13 of 14 free throws, and four rebounds. Miles Ezell added 18 points including seven of eight free throws, four rebounds, and four assists. Bradley Robinson recorded 13 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds. Kaden Hilander chipped in with eight points and three rebounds.

Micah Glenn led Scott County with 22 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Nick Mosby added 20 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Lamarion McGrapth recorded 11 points and seven rebounds.
