Christian Academy of Louisville defeated Ashland Blazer by the score of 50-7. CAL recorded 459 yards while Ashland Blazer recorded 229 yards.

Gavin Copenhaver led Christian Academy of Louisville’s ground game with 158 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Cole Hodge carried the ball five times for 63 yards and a touchdown. Jaylen McRoberts recorded 30 yards on five carries. Cole Hodge completed 13 of 16 passes for 147 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Colin Daniels completed three of three passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. Justin Ruffin caught four passes for 49 yards and two touchdowns. Connor Hodge added two receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown. Bryce Wilson recorded three receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown. Gavin Copenhaver added a 16 yard touchdown reception. Gavin Copenhaver led the defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles. Isaac Patrick added two solo and four assisted tackles. Braden Robinson recorded two solo and three assisted tackles. Darwin Cotton added four solo and one assisted tackles.

LaBryant Strader led Ashland Blazer’s ground game with 47 yards on 12 carries. Braxton Jennings carried the ball 14 times for 44 yards and a touchdown. LaBryant Strader completed 11 of 19 passes for 124 yards. Brandon Houston caught four passes for 80 yards. Cameron Davis led the defense with seven solo tackles. Atayveon Thomas added four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Jared Brown recorded three solo and one assisted tackles.

Beechwood returns to the Class 2A Championship game with a 48-0 shutout of Lloyd Memorial. Beechwood suffered a setback in October as all-everything athlete Mitchell Berger went out with a season ending injury but the Tigers re-grouped and are back in the title hunt. This game was over early as Beechwood took an early 7-0 lead but Loyd Memorial responded as Isaiah Sebastian returned the ensuing kickoff for an apparent touchdown but the big play was wiped out by a penalty. Lloyd Memorial turned the ball over in their first two possessions and Beechwood capitalized to take a 20-0 lead after the first quarter. Beechwood held a 403-121 advantage in total offense.

Zander Riegler led Beechwood’s ground game with 79 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Cash Harney added 54 yards on four carries. Chase Fleherty carried the ball 16 times for 47 yards and three touchdowns. Clay Hayden completed 12 of 17 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns. Talon Linder caught two passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns. Liam McCormack added three receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown. James Cusik recorded two catches for 29 yards and Antonio Robinson caught three passes for 28 yards. Landon Aylor recovered a fumble. Nicholas Alexander intercepted a pass he returned 30 yards. Landon Johnson intercepted a pass he returned 10 yards.

Kaiden Zulager led Lloyd Memorial’s ground game with 45 yards on 16 carries. Isaiah Sebastian carried the ball five times for 20 yards. Isaiah Sebastian completed four of 12 passes for 54 yards with two interceptions. Tyler Copeland caught three passes for 28 yards. Kaiden Zulager and Elijah Collins each caught one pass for 26 and 9 yards respectively. Elijah Westwood led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles. Yurli Comer Collins added three solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Amari Riley recorded four solo tackles.

Newport Central Catholic did not have an answer for Pikeville’s big strong linemen on either side of the ball as the Panthers rolled to a 50-14 victory. Pikeville recorded 23 first downs and 399 yards of total offense. The Panthers were penalized six times for 60 yards. Newport Central Catholic recorded 12 first downs and 210 yards of total offense. The Thoroughbreds were penalized four times for 20 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Blake Birchfield led Pikeville’s ground game with 168 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries. Blake Caudill carried the ball three times for 44 yards and a touchdown. Isaac Duty completed eight of 15 passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Brenden Anthony caught one pass for 53 yards. Blake Birchfield added two receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown. Wade Hensley caught a 12 yard touchdown reception. Westin Blevins returned one kickoff for 30 yards. Logan Reed intercepted two passes.

Luke Runton led Newport Central Catholic’s ground game with 84 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Kaleb Cole carried the ball twice for 26 yards. Demetrick Welch Jr. added 22 yards on three carries. Kolton Smith chipped in with five yards and a touchdown o five carries. Kolton Smith completed 12 of 22 passes for 73 yards with one interception. Luke Runyon caught five passes for 22 yards. Nick Rouse added two receptions for 20 yards. Kaleb Cole recorded 19 yards on three receptions. Luke Runyon returned three kickoffs for 43 yards. Demetrick Welch Jr. returned three kickoffs for 33 yards. Matthew Landrum returned two kickoffs for 22 yards. Luke Runyon led the defense with three solo and four assisted tackles. Demetrick Welch Jr. added four solo and two assisted tackles. Matthew Landrum and Louie Collopy each recorded three solo and two assisted tackles.

Raceland dominated play tonight in a 49-6 victory over Louisville Holy Cross. Raceland recorded 19 first downs and 525 yards of total offense. The Rams were penalized four times for 40 yards. Louisville Holy Cross recorded eight first downs and 140 yards of total offense. The Cougars were penalized four times for 45 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Noah Wallace led Raceland’s ground game with 145 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Isaac Browning carried the ball 10 times for 118 yards and a touchdown. Lamar Lundy recorded 64 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Logan Lundy completed six of nine passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns. Mason Lykins completed one of two passes for 50 yards and a touchdown. Parker Fannin caught two passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Jules Farrow caught a 50 yard touchdown pass and Brayden Welch added a 10 yard touchdown reception. Jules Farrow returned one punt for 13 yards. Isaac Browning returned one kickoff for 20 yards. Javen Huddleston led Bowling Green’s ground game with 142 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Deuce Bailey carried the ball twice for 44 yards. LaDanian Woods added 30 yards on four carries. Deuce Bailey completed 11 of 16 passes for 159 yards and four touchdowns. Trevy Barber caught two passes for 44 yards and a touchdown. Easton Barlow added two receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Warder recorded four receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown. Christopher Sweeney caught a 13 yard touchdown pass. Grayson Newman led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles. Mayfield utilized a balanced offense to defeat Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 38-28. Mayfield recorded 20 first downs and 396 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 75 yards. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 22 first downs and 299 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized six times for 60 yards.

Jutarious Starks led Mayfield’s ground game with 183 yards and three touchdowns on 34 carries. Zane Cartwright completed 14 of 18 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns. Novi Barnes caught five passes for 87 yards and a touchdown. Brajone Dabney added three receptions for 40 yards. Gavin Jackson added one reception for 32 yards. Carter Morris caught a 10 yard touchdown pass. Wil Fox returned one kickoff for 28 yards. Novi Barnes returned two kickoffs for 23 yards. Brajone Dabney returned one kickoff for 14 yards. Issac Stevenson and Carter Morris led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles each. Michael Hughes recorded four solo and two assisted tackles and Ian Williams chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles. Brajone Dabney intercepted a pass he returned 40 yards.

Jveontae Emerson led LCA’s ground game with 59 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. BJ Evans carried the ball four times for 11 yards and a touchdown. Cutter Boley completed 21 of 34 passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns. Will Nichols caught six passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Drew Nieves added seven receptions for 56 yards. Parker Chaney caught four passes for 47 yards. Nate Barnhardt returned two kickoffs for 33 yards. Will Nichols led the defense with 10 solo tackles. Major Brown added seven solo and four assisted tackles. Jayden Taylor recorded five solo and two assisted tackles.

Frederick Douglass once again relied on their rock-ribbed defense and efficient offense to earn a 14-2 victory over Owensboro. Frederick Douglass recorded 11 first downs and 199 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized eight times for 78 yards and had one pass intercepted. Owensboro recorded eight first downs and 120 yards of total offense. The Red Devils were penalized twice for 27 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Ty Bryant led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 98 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. DeVaun Hart carried the ball nine times for 30 yards and a touchdown. Cole Carpenter completed 17 of 25 passes for 99 yards with one interception. Cameron Dunn caught seven passes for 39 yards. Tylon Dunn added five receptions for 17 yards. Thomas Howard recorded three receptions for 34 yards. Ty Bryant returned one punt for 23 yards. Isaiah Kenney led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss and intercepted a pass he returned nine yards. Darion Neal added five solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in loses totaling seven yards and recovered a fumble. Jalen Hand recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards. Logan Busson chipped in with two solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

Kenyatta Carbon led Owensboro’s ground game with 62 yards on 10 carries. Kasey Boone completed six of 25 passes for 52 yards with two interceptions. Khalil Rogers caught four passes for 26 yards. Ethan Pendleton added two receptions for 26 yards. Evan Hampton returned three kickoffs for 42 yards with a long return of 19 yards. Kanye Johnson led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles. Xander Early recorded five solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 15 yards. Kenyatta Carbon recorded five solo and three assisted tackles. Dereon Crowe added three solo and seven assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards and intercepted a pass he returned 11 yards. Ethan Pendleton recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.

Bullitt East scored two touchdowns with under three minutes left in the game to pull away for a 55-41 victory over Bryan Station in a battle of two high octane offenses. Bullitt East recorded 24 first downs and 537 yards of total offense. The Chargers were penalized five times for 36 yards and had a pass intercepted. Bryan Station recorded 18 first downs and 373 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized five times for 23 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Mason Gauthier led the Bullitt East ground game with 163 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Travis Egan carried the ball 17 times for 72 yards and a touchdown. Travis Egan completed 19 of 28 passes for 249 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Camron Brogan caught 10 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown. Nolan Davenport added four receptions for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Isaiah Hare added a four yard touchdown reception. Camron Brogan returned five kickoffs for 85 yards with a long return of 27 yards. Ryan Rayhill and Ryan Still each returned a kickoff for 26 and 22 yards respectively. Ryan Rayhill led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss. Ryan Still added three solo and seven assisted tackles. Tyler Redmon recorded four solo and three assisted tackles. Camron Brogan chipped in with two solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned for 40 yards and a touchdown.

Jeremiah Mundy-Lloyd led Bryan Station’s ground game with 171 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries. Trenton Cutwright carried the ball five times for 43 yards and a touchdown. Trenton Cutwright completed 14 of 21 passes for 21 yards and 152 yards and one touchdown with one interception. JT Haskins Jr. caught five passes for 61 yards. Damin Green added three receptions for 42 yards. Jayden Walker recorded three receptions for 23 yards. Dahvon Frazier caught two passes for 21 yards and a touchdown. Damin Green returned two kickoffs for 105 yards including a 94 yard return for a touchdown. JT Haskins Jr. returned two kickoffs for 29 yards including a long return of 17 yards. Jason Hocker led the defense with six solo and seven assisted tackles. Nikalos Dixon added five solo and five assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards. Bullitt East defeated Central Hardin 28-15 despite QB Travis Egan being out of the game for an extended period as a precaution after suffering an injury in the first half. Bullitt East recorded 23 first downs and 387 yards of total offense. The Chargers were penalized eight times for 55 yards and lost two fumbles. Central Hardin recorded seven first downs and 115 yards of total offense. They were penalized three times for 35 yards and lost a fumble.

Mason Gauthier led Bullitt East’s ground game with 112 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. Travis Egan carried the ball seven times for 57 yards. Jack Zwernemann added 51 yards on nine carries. Camron Brogan chipped in with 33 yards on five carries. Travis Egan completed nine of 14 passes for 100 yards. Jack Zwernemann completed seven of 11 passes for 49 yards and a touchdown. Camron Brogan caught five passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. Nolan Richardson recorded 10 receptions for 58 yards. Camron Brogan returned two kickoffs for 37 yards. Lexington Christian Academy defeated Owensboro Catholic by the score of 33-27. Owensboro Catholic raced out to a 14-0 lead but LCA rallied for the victory. However, the outcome was in doubt until the final seconds. LCA held a 33-21 lead mid way throught the final quarter but Owensboro Catholic pulled to within six; 33-27 with 3:55 left in the game. Owensboro Catholic had one last chance and drove 87 yards to the LCA 3 with 3.4 seconds left on the clock. Brady Atwell threw a pass into the end zone but the pass was deflected ensuring the victory for the Eagles. LCA recorded 24 first downs and 383 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized eight times for 60 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted. Owensboro Catholic recorded 17 first downs and 352 yards of total offense. The Aces were penalized six times for 60 yards, lost a fumble, and ad two passes intercepted.

Cutter Boley led LCA’s ground game with 72 yards with two touchdowns on 10 carries. Jveontae Emerson carried the ball 15 times for 48 yards and a touchdown. Cutter Boley completed 21 of 38 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Parker Chaney caught eight passes for 88 yards. Evan Brown added three receptions for 76 yards. Will Nichols caught five passes for 49 yards and a touchdown. Drew Nieves chipped in with two receptions for 33 yards. Will Rich caught a five yard touchdown pass. Evan Brown returned two kickoffs for 27 yards. Saxton Howard returned two kickoffs for 22 yards. Major Brown led the defense with 12 solo and five assisted tackles.
