Knox Central defeated Bourbon County by the score of 62-61 in one of the highest combined score total in KHSAA history. Knox Central recorded 35 first downs and 488 yards of total offense. They were penalized four time for 20 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Bourbon County recorded 17 first downs and 367 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 40 yards and lost a fumble.

Steve Partin led Knox Central’s ground game with 316 yards and six touchdowns on 52 carries. Gavin Miracle carried the ball eight times for 46 yards and a touchdown. Steve Partin completed seven of 11 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown with one interception. KT Turner caught two passes for 56 yards and a touchdown. Gavin Chadwell added four receptions for 41 yards. KT Turner returned four kickoffs for 169 yards and a touchdown return of 80 yards. KT Turner led the defense with six solo tackles. Cayden Collins added five solo and one assisted tackles. Gavin Chadwell recorded five solo tackles. Brady Mills chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Josh Moody led Bourbon County’s ground game with 120 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries. Clay Estes carried the ball four times for 39 yards and a touchdown. Clay Estes completed 12of 16 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Moody caught four passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Floyd added three receptions for 63 yards. Cam Ron Goodwin added two receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Floyd returned three kickoffs for 136 yards including an 80 yard return for a touchdown. Cam Ron Goodwin led the defense with 12 solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Jaden Moody added nine solo and two assisted tackles. JoshMoody recorded six solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

Lexington Christian Academy scored 42 points in the second quarter on their way to a 56-21 victory over Washington County. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 27 first downs and 541 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized five times for 65 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Washington County recorded 14 first downs and 289 yards of total offense. They were penalized three times for 15 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

BJ Evans led LCA’s ground game with 63 yards and two touchdowns on five carries. Cooper Gudalis carried the ball five times for 51 yards. Mac Darland recorded 36 yards on four carries. Cutter Boley completed 20 of 33 passes for 380 yards and five touchdowns with one interception. Evan Brown caught six passes for 107 yards and one touchdown. Parker Chaney added five receptions for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Will Nichols caught two passes for 89 yards and one touchdown. Will Rich caught four passes for 39 yards and one touchdown. Major Brown led the defense with six solo tackles. Parker Chaney, Will Bivens, Nate Barnhardt, and Tyler King each recorded three solo tackles. Will Nichols, Tony Dutton, and BJ Evans each intercepted a pass.

Isaiah Mattingly led Washington County’s ground game with 33 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Beau Baker completed 13 of 25 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Jack Pettus caught four passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns. Noah Reynolds added five receptions for 84 yards. Conner Gabhart caught three passes for 32 yards. Camden Abell returned three kickoffs for 20 yards. Dustin Taylor led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles. Camden Abell and Tobia Railey each recorded four solo and one assisted tackles.

Southwestern pulled away mid way through the final quarter to defeat North Laurel by the score of 27-13. Southwestern recorded 15 first downs and 272 yards of total offense. The Warriors were penalized 10 times for 80 yards and had a pass intercepted. North Laurel recorded 19 first downs and 356 yards of total offense. The Jaguars were penalized eight times for 70 yards and lost a fumble.

Maddox Mink led the Southwestern ground game with 68 yards and a touchdown on one carry. Christian Walden added 51 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Tanner Wright recorded 43 yards on 10 carries. Mason Hibbard added 38 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Roger Oliver completed one of two pases for 38 yards. Mason Hibbard completed four of nine passes for 29 yards with one interception. Mason Hibbard caught one pass for 38 yards. Caden Cunnagin added two receptions for 20 yards. Christian Walden returned two punts for 19 yards and returned one kickoff for 47 yards. Maddox Mink led the defense with 10 solo and eight assisted tackles including two QB sacks. Been Coomer added eight solo and six assisted tackles. Lucas McKee recorded five solo and six assisted tackles. Christian Kelly chipped in with four solo and five assisted tackles and Kolton Goff recovered a fumble.

Tucker Warren led North Laurel’s ground game with 140 yards on 24 carries. Ethan Gregory carried the ball nine times for 57 yards. Keaton Bowling recorded 44 yards on four carries. Treyshawn Holmes-Evans carried the ball five times for 35 yards and a touchdown. Austin Johnson chipped in with 20 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Tucker Warren completed seven of 18 passes for 60 yards. Jack Chappell caught two passes for 22 yards. John Begley added two receptions for 12 yards. Ethan Gregory returned one kickoff for 18 yards. Devon Johnson led the defense with eight assisted tackles. Clay Morris added four solo and four assisted tackles. Austin Johnson recorded two solo and five assisted tackles. Treyshawn Holmes-Evans chipped in with four solo and three assisted tackles. Carter Kelly intercepted a pass.

Corbin defeated Simon Kenton by the score of 38-35 despite giving up 528 yards to the Pioneers. Simon Kenton had an opportunity to tie the game with a long field goal in the closing seconds but chose to go for win but failed. Corbin recorded 18 first downs and 339 yards of total offense. The Redhounds were penalized three times for 25 yards lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Simon Kenton recorded 33 first downs and 528 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized four times for 37 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Cameron Combs led Corbin’s ground game with 63 yards on 10 carries. Brody Wells carried the ball nine times for 47 yards and a touchdown. Kade Elam recorded 25 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Zander Curry added 27 yards on six carries. Zayne Hammack carried the ball four times for 25 yards and a touchdown. Kade Elam completed 13 of 19 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Eli Pietrowski caught four passes for 94 yards. Carter Stewart added five receptions for 28 yards. Zander Curry recorded two receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown. Zander Curry returned one kickoff for 85 yards and a touchdown. Jacob Baker converted on five of five extra points, punted once for 57 yards, kicked a 37 yard field goal and recorded 13 solo and two assisted tackles. Baker also intercepted two passes. Jayden Lawson led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 258 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries. Kaleb Bleier carried the ball seven times for 42 yards. Chase Williams caught 12 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown. Nathan Kitchens added two receptions for 28 yards. Carter Blades caught two passes for 19 yards. Covington Catholic defeated Boone County by the score of 43-0. Covington Catholic recorded 17 first downs and 444 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized three times for nine yards. Boone County recorded eight first downs and 218 yards of total offense. The Rebels were penalized six times for 61 yards and lost two fumbles.

Owen Leen led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 221 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries. Andrew Bessler carried the ball once for 69 yards. Evan Pitzer recorded 36 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Zacc. Roberts added 26 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Evan Pitzer completed four of nine passes for 50 yards. Braylon Miller caught two passes for 30 yards. Ben McEvoy added two receptions for 20 yards. Braylon Miller returned two punts for 48 yards with a long return of 45 yards and returned one kickoffs for 16 yards. Tate Kruer led the defense with six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards. Aiden Jones added five solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in an 18 yard loss. Louie Hodge recorded four solo tackles.

Jamarion Hocker led Boone County’s ground game with 32 yards on 16 carries. Jamarion Hocker completed 13 of 24 passes for 184 yards. Tyler Whipple caught five passes for 91 yards. Justin Padilla added three receptions for 33 yards. Mason Hessling recorded two receptions for 53 yards. Justin Padilla and Late Lawson each returned a kickoff for 17 yards. Noah Haynes led the defense with three solo tackles. Justin Padilla, Seth Moran, Manuel Acosta, and Cole Hardy each recorded two solo tackles.

Frederick Douglass continues to dominate competition with a 57-0 shut out victory over Grant County. Frederick Douglass recorded 10 first downs and 327 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized three times for 25 yards. Grant County recorded five first downs and 105 yards of total offense. The Braves were not penalized. lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Pharo Watts led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 40 yards and two touchdowns on two carries. Cole Carpenter completed six of 10 passes for 184 yards and four touchdowns. Donalod Walker completed five of six passes for 97 yards and a touchdown. Cameron Dunn caught two passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Tate Johnson added two receptions for 58 yards and one touchdown. Cooper Ranvier and DeVaun Hart caught touchdown passes of 34 and seven yards respectively. Cooper Ranvier connected on seven of seven extra point attempts and kicked off nine times with seven touch backs. Darion Neal led the defense with one solo and six assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. M. Jenkins added three solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards and recovered a fumble he returned 14 yards. Landon Menifee intercepted a pass and J. Harkless scored on a 10 yard fumble recovery return.

Cameron Duncan led Grant County’s ground game with 64 yards on 11 carries. Cameron Duncan was zero for four with one interception. Kaleb Dionne returned two kickoffs for 35 yards with a long return of 19 yards. Cameron Duncan, Aiden Ross, and Kaleb Dionne each recorded two solo tackles for Grant County.

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Tates Creek by the score of 14-11. Dunbar recorded 14 first downs and 314 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized seven times for 61 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Tates Creek recorded 15 first downs and 282 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized seven times for 67 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Cole Colony led Dunbar’s ground game with 129 yards on 18 carries. Noah Chapman carried the ball 16 times for 120 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Teall completed two of seven passes for 12 yards with one interception. Cole Colony completed four of seven passes for 51 yards and one touchdown. J. Commodore caught a 38 yard touchdown pass. J. Commodore returned one punt for 16 yards and one kickoff for 15 yards. E. Illunga led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss. Kyan Miller added five solo and four assisted tackles. Jose Kazadi II recorded three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss. Desmond Duncan intercepted two passes with 39 yards of return yardage.

Theo Jones led Tates Creek’s ground game with 100 yards on 20 carries. Andrew Witherington carried the ball eight times for 56 yards. LaQuan Newby added 31 yards on nine carries. Andrew Withington completed 12 of 21 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions. Ke’shon Douthitt caught six passes for 49 yards and a touchdown. Mason Jackson caught two passes for 24 yards. Ke’shon Douthitt returned two punts for 25 yards with a long return of 18 yards and returned one kickoff for 28 yards. Kobe Middleton returned one kickoff for 23 yards. Logan Julian led the defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards and intercepted a pass he returned nine yards. Thomas Seigler added five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Kobe Middleton recorded two solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Bryan Station defeated Henry Clay by the score of 42-14. Bryan Station recorded 19 first downs and 367 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized 14 times for 120 yards and lost a fumble. Henry Clay recorded 16 first downs and 286 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized 11 times for 73 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Dahvon Frazier led Bryan Station’s ground game with 138 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Jeremiah Mundy-Lloyd added 64 yards on 11 carries. Bayubahe Benit recorded 41 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. Trenton Cutwright completed nine of 15 passes for 116 yards and one touchdown. Damin Green caught five passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. JT Haskins Jr. added five receptions for 55 yards. Damin Green returned one kickoff for 39 yards. JT Haskins returned one kickoff for 71 yards and a touchdown. Nikalos Dixon led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. JT Haskins Jr. added four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Jahvon Frazier recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Zechariah Dabney added one solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in an 11 yard loss and recovered two fumbles. Dahvon Frazier intercepted a pass.

Jacob Childress led Henry Clay’s ground game with 113 yards on 18 carries. Malcolm Paul completed 14 of 22 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions. Jack Kreutzer caught five passes for 90 yards. L. Barrentine added four receptions for 32 yards. Walden Cole recorded three receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. Jack Kreutzer returned two kickoffs for 43 yards with a long return of 22 yards. Walden Cole returned one kickoff for 25 yards. Trace Olmstead led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles. Jayden Bailey also recorded four solo and one assisted tackles. Kyan Miller recorded four solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 21 yard loss. The 5-0 Warhawks had this date marked on their calendar as they thought this was the year to end Scott County’s five game winning streak but it was not to be. Scott County dominated tonight running their “Winged-T” offense and getting some big plays through the air and an excellent defensive effort shut out Great Crossing by the score of 43-0. Scott County recorded 21 first downs and 425 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized 12 times for 120 yards and lost a fumble. Great Crossing recorded eight first downs and 121 yards of total offense. The Warhawks were penalized four times for 30 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Jacob Fryman led Scott County’s ground game with 84 yards on 16 carries. Ellis Huguely carried the ball seven times for 77 yards. Kayne Garrett recorded 38 yards on five carries. Andrew Hickey completed nine of 13 passes for 184 yards and three touchdowns. DaQuis Brown caught four passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns. Ellis Huguely added two receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown. Logan Jones returned one punt for 17 yards and DaQuis Brown returned a kickoff for 21 yards. JaSante Harmon led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles. Cam Keller added three solo and five assisted tackles. Paul Garner and Buddy Collins each intercepted a pass.

JK Patterson led Great Crossing’s ground game with 80 yards on 17 carries. Caden Bays completed one of eight passes for eigt yards with two interceptions. Bryce Harmon caught one pass for eight yards. Oryend Fisher led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles. Tyris Cobbins added five solo and one assisted tackles. Drake Byrd, Clayton Shaddix, and Pilot Lukacsko each recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of Shaddix’s tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.

Lexington Catholic utilized their air attack and a ball hawking defense (5 interceptions) to defeat Tates Creek by the score of 41-0. Lexington Catholic recorded 11 first downs and 268 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized four times for 30 yards. Tates Creek recorded 11 first downs and 128 yards of total offense. The Commodores were not penalized but had five passes intercepted.

Walker Hall led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 65 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Jackson Wasik completed 10 of 16 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Max DeGraff completed two of three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. Max DeGraff caught five passes for 82 yards and a touchdown. Tanner Pedroche added three receptions for 32 yards. Hunter Foster caught two passes for 43 yards. B. Williams was credited with 0 receptions for 25 yards and a touchdown because LexCath completed a pass and the receiver advanced the ball but fumbled and B. Williams went 25 yards for the scoop-and-score touchdown. Max Mooring returned one kickoff for 82 yards, Max DeGraff punted once for 41 yards, converted on four extra points, kicked field goals of 32 and 25 yards and kicked off eight times with four touchbacks. Hayden Dawahare led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting I losses totaling 18 yards and intercepted a pass. Sam Clements recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss and intercepted three passes with return yardage of 35 yards. Max Kern added three solo and three assisted tackles. B. Williams recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Max Bertrand also intercepted a pass.

LaQwuan Newby led Tates Creek’s ground game with 18 yards on eight carries. Andrew Witherington completed 12 of 23 passes for 105 yards with five interceptions. Marquevion Smith caught six passes for 44 yards. Thomas Seigler and Jason Bell each caught two passes for 28 and 22 yards respectively. Cooper Jackson returned two kickoffs for 46 yards with a long return of 24 yards. Marquevion Smith returned two kickoffs for 44 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Kobe Middleton led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles. Cooper Jackson added four solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.
