Owensboro Catholic coach Michael Robertson started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Hailee Johnson, 5-8 Jr. Madeline Hayden, 5-11 Sr. Kinsley Goetz, 5-6 Jr. Katie Riney, and 5-6 Fr. Karmin Riley. Owen County coach Amy Wesselman countered with 5-10 Sr. Lexie Moore, 5-10 So. Haley Logan, 5-11 Jr. Gracie Ferguson, 5-7 Sr. Laurel Lewis, and 5-8 Sr. Destiny Goodrich.
Owen County pulled away in the second half to defeat Owensboro Catholic by the score of 49-38. There were three ties and nine lead changes in this game. Owen County shot 47.6% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line. The Lady Rebels connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Owensboro Catholic turnovers. Lexie Moore led Owen County with 19 points including two three point baskets, 12 rebounds, four assists, and six steals. Gracie Ferguson added 13 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Destiny Goodrich recorded 10 points, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Haley Logan chipped in with six points, seven rebounds, and three steals.
Madeline Hayden led Owensboro Catholic with 14 points, five rebounds, and four steals. Katie Riney added 10 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Karmin Riley recorded six points, two rebounds, four assists, and two steals. 5-8 Fr. Aubrey Randolph pulled down six rebounds.
Lexie Moore of Owen County was named tournament MVP.
