George Rogers Clark defeated Madison Central by the score of 68-63.  George Rogers Clark shot 50% from the field including six of 20 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 56.1% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored eight points off five GRC turnovers.

 

Tanner Walton led GRC with 18 points including five of six free throws, seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals.  Trent Edwards added 12 points.  Jerone Morton recorded 11 points and Sam Parrish chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets and four assists.

Madison Central led 32-28 after three quarters but were outscored 12-0 in the last quarter as Madison Southern earned a 40-32 victory.  There were four ties and nine lead changes in this game.  Madison Southern shot 30.2% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 25 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 35.1% from the field including one of seven from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Madison Southern turnovers.

Franklin County defeated Scott County by the score of 94-74.  Franklin County shot 37.4% from the field including 16 of 46 from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 67 rebounds, and scored six points off 14 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 38.6% from the field including 12 of 28 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored eight points off 13 Franklin County turnovers.

 

Jazmin Chambers led Franklin County with 18 points including two three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Nevaeh Carter added 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  6-0 Fr. Frederick Douglass defeated Great Crossing by the score of 60-57.  Frederick Douglass shot 42.2% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Broncos connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 15 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 43.4% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Warhawks connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

 

Tyson Barrett led Frederick Douglass with 14 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Tylon Webb added 14 points.  Kai Simpson recorded 12 points, four rebounds, and five assists.  Armelo Boone chipped in with 11 points including six of seven free throws, three rebounds, and three assists.

 

Vince Dawson III led Great Crossing with 19 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Malachi Moreno added 11 points, 12 rebounds, five blocked shots, and two steals.  Junius Burrell recorded 10 points, three rebounds, and four assists.  Carson Walls chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.
