Franklin County trailed Central 25-24 at halftime but outscored Central 34-22 in the second half to earn a 58-47 victory. Franklin County shot 36.4% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc. The Flyers connected on 22 of 35 free throws and pulled down 40 rebounds. Central shot 43.9% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc. They connected on eight of 16 free throws and pulled down 36 rebounds. Central committed 16 turnovers and were whistled for 27 fouls with Destiny Jones, Amaya Asher, and Briontaney Marshall getting five fouls each. Franklin County committed 13 fouls and was guilty of 16 turnovers.
5-7 Fr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff led Franklin County with 17 points. Ridderikhoff was five of six from the field including three of three from beyond the arc and four of four free throws. 5-10 Sr. Patience Laster added 13 points including none of 12 free throws and 14 rebounds. 5-5 Sr. Nevaeh Carter recorded nine points, eight assists, and six steals. 6-4 Jr. Jhaven Meade chipped in with six points and 11 rebounds.
5-11 Jr. JaLa Douglas led Central with 12 points and seven rebounds. 5-6 So. Zionna Johnson added 12 points including three three point baskets. 5-6 Sr. Amaya Asher recorded seven points, four assists, and two steals. So. Destiny Jones chipped in with six points and six rebounds. 6-1 Sr. Ashai Deng added two points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.
