Christian Academy of Louisville raced out to a 43-0 halftime lead on their way to a 43-21 victory over DeSales.  CAL recorded 13 first downs and 381 yards of total offense.  The Centurions were penalized four times for 31 yards.  DeSales recorded 12 first downs and 246 yards of total offense.  The Colts were penalized five times for 39 yards.

Gavin Cophenhaver led CAL’s ground game with 109 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.  Conner Franklin added 34 yards on three carries.  Cole Hodge added 25 yards on four carries.  Easton Messer and Isaac Patrick each scored a rushing touchdown.  Cole Hodge completed six of seven passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns.  Easton Messer caught four passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns.  Gavin Cophenhaver and Adam Ballard each caught one pass for 41 and 39 yards respectively.  Gavin Cophenhaver returned one kickoff for 33 yards.  Dylan Cornett was five of five on conversion kicks and kicked off seven times for a 56.1 average and four touchbacks.

Devon Armstrong led DeSales ground game with 87 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Kaleb Adkins carried the ball three times for 69 yards.  David Griffith recorded 53 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Luke Pfaadt added 44 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Luke Pfaadt completed two of eight passes for -7 yards.  Devon Armstrong caught two passes for -7 yards.  Alex Liebert returned three kickoffs for 37 yards with a long return of 18 yards.

Daniel Mufanzala kicked a 33 yard field goal with 34 seconds left in the game to allow Bryan Station to escape with a 9-7 victory over upset minded George Rogers Clark.  Bryan Station recorded 13 first downs and 278 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized six times for 45 yards, lost tw3o fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  George Rogers Clark recorded six first downs and 127 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 37 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Joseph Bond led Bryan Station’s ground game with 114 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries.  Jeremiah Mundy-Lloyd carried the ball 14 times for 73 yards.  Trenton Cutwright completed 10 of 20 passes for 86 yards with one interception.  J’Marious Lindsay caught two passes for 38 yards.  Damin Green added two receptions for 24 yards.  Jeremiah Mundy-Lloyd also caught two passes for 13 yards.  Damin Green returned two kickoffs for 55 yards with a long return of 45 yards.  Jason Hocker led the defense with three solo and four assisted tackles.  Amodeus Taylor added two solo and six assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.  Antonio Davis recorded two solo and five assisted tackles.  Damin Green intercepted one pass he returned 50 yards.  Isaiah Watts also intercepted a pass.

K. Guerrant led GRC’s ground game with 45 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  K. Washington carried the ball 10 times for 24 yards.  Brady Denham completed five of 12 passes for 38 yards with one interception.  Tyleik Maxwell completed one of two passes for 20 yards with one interception.  Tate Spayd caught two passes for 36 yards.  K. Washington returned one kickoff for 38 yards.  Hayden Heath led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles.  A. Haskinsill added five solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.  Jeremy Clem recorded three solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Tate Spayd recovered a fumble he returned nine yards.  K. Guerrant also recovered a fumble.  Kamden McAlpin intercepted a pass.

Boyle County made three field goals by Jackson Smith and a 24 yard touchdown run by Avery Bodner stand up in a 16-10 victory over Lexington Catholic.  LexCath’s only touchdown cam on a trick play as Jack Gohmann pitched the ball back to Max DeGraff who threw a three yard touchdown pass to Tanner Pedroche.  Boyle County recorded 22 first downs and 467 yards of total offense.  The Rebels were penalized nine times for 79 yards and lost a fumble.  Lexington Catholic recorded 12 first downs and 284 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized six times for 30 yards and lost a fumble.

Avery Bodner led Boyle County’s ground game with 103 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.  Trey Lanter added 45 yards on four carries.  Jagger Gillis recorded 41 yards on 12 carries.  Jagger Gillis completed 16 of 24 passes for 227 yards.  Cole Lanter caught six passes for 108 yards.  Hayden Kelly added three receptions for 54 yards.  Cole Lanter returned two kickoffs for 56 yards with a long return of 29 yards.  Jackson Smith kicked field goals of 24, 27, and 21 yards, tacked on the conversion kick, punted once for 41 yards that was downed inside the 20 yard line, and kicked off four times for a 54.8 average and three touchbacks.  Dalton Stone led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Will Alexander added six solo tackles.  Cole Sims recorded three solo and two assisted tackles.

Jack Gohmann led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 41 yards on 12 carries.  Jack Gohmann completed 13 of 24 passes for 218 yards.  Max DeGraff completed his only pass for a three yard touchdown pass.  Tanner Pedroche caught four passes for 27 yards and a touchdown.  Blake Busson added three receptions for 91 yards.  Hunter Foster caught three passes for 47 yards.  Walker Hall returned one kickoff for 17 yards.  Gavin Klein led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.  Jack Monday added three solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards.  Grant Ganbrell recorded four solo and one assisted tackles.  Patrick Davis added three solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Madison Central earned an important district win with a 31-15 victory over previously unbeaten Oldham County.  Madison Central’s offensive line dominated tonight especially in the second half as the line led by 6-9 328 Malachi Wood, 6-0 240 Max Murphy, 6-0 280 Noah Shipley, 6-2 275 Evan Dexter, and 6-2 275 Aiden Howard opened holes for Madison Central to run for 391 yards and four touchdowns on 47 carries.  Oldham County’s talented QB Sam Young is difficult to defend but Madison Central’s defense stopped him from dominating and intercepted two passes on the evening.  Madison Central had three runners all crack the 100 yard mark in rushing the ball.  Madison Central recorded 16 first downs and 391 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized eight times for 74 yards.  Oldham County recorded 15 first downs and 300 yards of total offense.  They were penalized seven times for 59 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Brady Hensley led Madison Central’s ground game with 169 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.  Hagan Harrison added 112 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.  Adrien Parks recorded 110 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Hagan Harrison was zero of six in the passing game.  Brock Eads led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles.  Rylan Rhodes added eight assisted tackles.  Hayden Kiser recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss of two yards.  Cooper Mullins recoverd a fumble.  Anderson Mitchell and Andre Smith each intercepted a pass with return yardage of 38 and 12 yards respectively.

Sam Young led Oldham County’s ground game with 60 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Caden Sheppard carried the ball 12 times for 38 yards.  Sam Young completed 13 of 21 passes for 185 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Justin Ruffin caught six passes for 66 yards.  Jaxon Elkins added three for 73 yards and a touchdown.  Darwin Cotton returned three kickoffs for 54 yards with a long return of 25 yards.  William Carnes returned three kickoffs for 35 yards with a long return of 14 yards.  Jose Verta kicked off three times for an average of 60 yards and three touch backs.  Brian Monteleone led the defense with nine solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss.  Sam Oldham  and Wesley Rios-Lara each recorded three solo and three assisted tackles.

Newport Central Catholic defeated Ludlow by the score of 69-21.  NCC recorded 19 first downs and 380 yards of total offense.  They were penalized once for five yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Ludlow recorded 16 first downs and 386 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 65 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Kolton Smith and Luke Runyon led NCC’s ground game with 22 yards each on six and two carries respectively.  Demetrick Welch Jr. added 21 yards and two touchdowns on five carries.  Brady Reckers carried the ball once for a 13 yard touchdown.  Kolton Smith completed 15 of 22 passes for 302 yards with and five touchdowns with one interception.  Matthew Landrum caught seven passes for 168 yards and three touchdowns.  Nick Rouse added three receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown.  Dometrick Welch Jr. added a 11 yard touchdown reception.  Luke Runyon returned a kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown and returned two punts for 20 yards.  Ryan Barth was nine for nine in conversion kicks.  Dom Morgan led the defense with 12 solo tackles and recovered a fumble that he returned 35 yards for a touchdown.  Kwintin Gilliam added seven solo tackles and Luke Runyon recorded four solo tackles.  Brady Reckers intercepted a pass he returned 25 yards.

Braxton Newborn led Ludlow’s ground game with 209 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries.  Nick Tackett carried the ball once for 79 yards and a touchdown.  Brogan O’Brien carried the ball 10 times for 43 yards and a touchdown.  Brogan O’Brien completed five of 10 passes for 51 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Nick Tackett caught four passes for 30 yards and a touchdown.  Jaxson Rice added one reception for 21 yards.  Jaxson Rice returned five kickoffs for 122 yards and one punt for 10 yards.  Braxton Newborn led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles.  Nick Tackett added four solo and six assisted tackles.  Brogan O’Brien recorded four solo and two assisted tackles.

Alex Castrucci led Conner’s ground game with 68 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.  Clayton Melcher carried the ball eight times for 61 yards.  Alex Castrucci completed eight of 15 passes for 56 yards.  Brennan Kahle caught two passes for 20 yards.  Clayton Melcher added two receptions for 16 yards.  Cody Crawford recorded one reception for 12 yards.  Terry Phillips returned three kickoffs for 50 yards.  Carter Lindermann led the defense with 11 solo and one assisted tackles.  Alex Castrucci added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Clayton Melcher recorded three solo and two assisted tackles.  Conner was without the services of Alijah Thompson their leading rusher.

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Tates Creek by the score of 35-26.  Dunbar recorded 19 first downs and 31  yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized seven times for 65 yards and lost a fumble.  Tates Creek recorded 12 first downs and 334 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized seven times for 64 yards.

Kamarion Robinson led Dunbar’s ground game with 116 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.  Cole Colony carried the ball 14 times for 63 yards and two touchdowns.  Erik White added 27 yards on two carries.  Cole Colony completed six of 14 passes for 68 yards and one touchdown.  Mason Haylett caught a 29 yard pass for a touchdown.  Erik White returned one punt for 11 yards and two kickoffs for 37 yards with a long return for 22 yards.  JT Seltsam led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Jakobe Biggerstaff added three solo and two assisted tackles.  Andrew Jones recorded three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.

Matthew Underwood led Tates Creek’s ground game with 175 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.  Andrew Whitherington completed 13 of 26 passes for 183 yards and one touchdown.  Ke’shon Douthitt caught five passes for 85 yards and a touchdown.  Marquevion Smith added four receptions for 42 yards.  Theo Jones added three receptions for 47 yards,  Laquan Newby returned one punt for 49 yards and a touchdown.  Tay Williams returned one punt for 12 yards.  Logan Julian led the defense with three solo and eight assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.  Matthew Underwood added four solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.  Laquan Newby recorded five solo and one assisted tackles.  Ke’shon Douthitt added four solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards and recovered a fumble.  Thomas Seigler recorded three solo and five assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.

Ashland Blazer survived a first quarter in which Elizabethtown jumped out to a 14-0 lead and totally dominated play to rally for a 35-28 victory.  Elizabethtown led 21-7 at halftime but Ashland rallied to tie the score 21-21 after three quarters.  Elizabethtown took a 28-21 lead mid way through the final quarter on a 28 yard pass from Ryder Gregory to Carter Moberly and the conversion kick by Mary Bell.  Ashland quickly retaliated on the ensuing kickoff as Ricky Padron returned the kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown and SJ Lycans tacked on the extra point.  Brett Mullins turned in the play of the night on defense as he intercepted a pass to put Ashland back in business.  Vinnie Palladino scored what proved to be the winning touchdown on an 18 yard run and SJ Lycans converted on the kick to give Ashland a 35-28 lead with 4:16 left on the clock.  Ashland recorded 224 yards of total offense and had two passes intercepted.  Elizabethtown recorded 454 yards of total offense and lost a fumble and had two passes intercepted.

Vinnie Palladino led Ashland’s ground game with 115 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries.  Bailey Thacker carried the ball four times for 30 yards.  Bailey Thacker completed five of 14 passes for 66 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.  Ricky Padron caught two passes for 45 yards and a touchdown and also scored on a 70 yard kickoff return.  Terell Jordan and Brett Mullins each had an interception for Ashland.

Trey Durbin led Elizabethtown’s ground game with 147 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Drew Carmon carried the ball four times for 31 yards.  Greg Hall added 27 yards on nine carries.  Ryder Gregory completed eight of 17 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.  Evan Shelton caught three passes for 101 yards and a touchdown.  Carter Moberly added two receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown.  Trey Durbin caught a 44 yard touchdown reception.

Beechwood defeated Dixie Heights by the score of 21-14 to earn a big win on the road.  Beechwood recorded 17 first downs and 362 yard of total offense.  The Tigers were penalized five times for 55 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Dixie Heights recorded 18 first downs and 284 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized eight times for 45 yards.

Cameron Hergott led Beechwood’s ground game with 145 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Cameron Hergott completed 13 of 14 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Mitchell Berger caught five passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.  Parker Mason added four receptions for 57 yards.  Brett Holladay recorded two receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown.  Avery Courtney chipped in with two receptions for 29 yards.  Parker Mason returned one punt for 12 yards.  Parker Mason and Avery Courtney each returned a kickoff for 16 and 13 yards respectively.    

Logan Landers led Dixie Heights’ ground game with 36 yards on 10 carries.  Pierce Rohlman added 23 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  Devin Holbert carried the ball three times for 18 yards.  Logan Landers completed 19 of 26 passes for 206 yards and a touchdown.  Brach Rice caught four passes for 45 yards.  Ryan Diltz added two receptions and 44 yards and a touchdown.  Devin Holbert recorded four receptions for 41 yards.  Kel Hawkins chipped in with three receptions for 33 yards.  Ahmad Edwards returned a kickoff for 64 yards.  Devin Holbert returned three kickoffs for 47 yards.  Pierce Rohlman intercepted a pass.
