Pulaski County 55  Belfry 13 – Drew Polston completed 21 of 28 passes for 327 yards and five touchdowns.

 

St. Xavier 51  Owensboro 38 – Jack Sivori completed seven of 10 passes for 101 yards and three touchdowns and carried the ball 16 times for 186 yards and three touchdowns.  Owensboro was led by Gavin Wimsatt who completed 23 of 37 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns and carried the ball seven times for 58 yards and a touchdown.

Frederick Douglass continues their dominance over the other Lexington public schools with a 27-14 victory over Bryan Station.  Turnovers plagued Bryan Station tonight as they lost two fumbles and had two passes intercepted including one pick six by Ty Bryant.  Frederick Douglass recorded 12 first downs and 299 yards of total offence.  The Broncos were penalized nine times for 96 yards.  Bryan Station recorded 16 first downs and 261 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized three times for 25 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

DaVaun Hart led the Frederick Douglass ground game with 72 yards on 13 carries.  TJ Horton carried the ball once for a 49 yard touchdown run.  Samuel Cornett completed 13 of 27 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns.  Dane Key caught five passes for 58 yards and a touchdown.  Cameron Dunn added three receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown.  Ty Bryant returned two kickoffs for 67 yards with a long return of 47 yards.  Isaiah Kenney led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss.  Obediah Commodore added three solo and five assisted tackles.  Jamarion Harkless added two solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses.  Ty Bryant recorded three solo and one assisted tackle and returned an interception 53 yards for a touchdown.

J. Mundy-Lloyd led Bryan Station’s ground game with 50 yards on 14 carries.  Joseph Bond carried the ball eight times for 14 yards.  T. Cutwright carried the ball 10 times for 13 yards.  T. Cutwright completed 14 of 23 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Damin Green caught five passes for 25 yards.  A. Jenkins added three receptions for 25 yards.  J. Lindsay recorded two receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown.  Tylin Israel caught two passes for 34 yards.  J. Mundy-Lloyd caught a six yard touchdown pass.  Amodeus Taylor and A. Jenkins each returned a kickoff for 26 and 25 yards respectively.  Jason Hocker led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles.  Antonio Davis added four solo and four assisted tackles.  Y. Sledge recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss.  Jahvon Frazier added three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses.

McCracken County rallied from an early 12-0 deficit to lead Paducah Tilghman 20-18 at halftime.  However Tilghman rallied in the second half to earn a 35-27 before a packed enthusiastic crowd.  Paducah Tilghman recorded 17 first downs and 429 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 40 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  McCracken County recorded 16 first downs and 307 yards of total offense.  The Mustangs were penalized six times for 50 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Malachi Rider led the Paducah Tilghman ground game with 92 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Jordauyn White added 50 yards on four carries.  Jack James completed 13 of 29 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Brian Thomas caught seven passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns.  JoeAvion Starks caught a 23 yard touchdown pass.  John Kiebler punted once for 52 yards.  Brian Thomas returned one kickoff for 25 yards.  Turner Humphrey led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses.  Camdon Marshall added four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Oscar Adams recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss.  LeBran McMullen also intercepted a pass.

Hunter Bradley led McCracken County’s ground game with 27 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  Jeremiah Hughes carried the ball 12 times for 23 yards.  Pryor Lamb completed 18 of 42 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.  Zander Mayes caught six passes for 147 yards and a touchdown.  Nick Masek added five receptions for 65 yards.  Zach Sims recorded three receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown.  Zack Masek caught two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown.  Nathan Hemlich returned three kickoffs for 116 yards.  Leandre Bolen intercepted a pass.

Oldham County survived a hard fought battle to come away with a 35-29 victory on the road.  Oldham County recorded 20 first downs and 410 yards of total offense.  They were penalized 11 times for 80 yards.  Simon Kenton recorded 14 first downs and 303 yards of total offense.  The Pioneers were penalized five times for 24 yards and lost three fumbles.

Sam Young led Oldham County’s ground game with 76 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Kayden Osbourn added 48 yards on 20 carries.  Sam Young completed 14 of 20 passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns.  Justin Ruffin caught three passes for 63 yards.  Brian Monteleone added three receptions for 62 yards.  Wesley Alexander recorded two receptions for 44 yards and one touchdown.  Jacob Davis added three receptions for 41 yards.  Jaxon Elkins caught two passes for 28 yards and a touchdown.  Tyler Lindmier caught a 27 yard scoring reception.  Houston Manning punted six times for a 44.2 average.  Jaxon Elkins returned one punt for 15 yards.  Tyler Lindemier returned one kickoff for 34 yards.

Chase Crone led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 105 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.  Chase Crone completed 10 of 21 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns.  Chase Williams caught three passes for 92 yards and a touchdown.  Jayden Lawson added two receptions for 23 yards.  Jackson Galbraith recorded one reception for 21 yards and a touchdown.  Andrew Perry punted six times for a 34.5 average.  Zeb Sand returned two kickoffs for 47 yards.  Chase Gill led the defense with 10 solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses.  Joe Vormbrock added five solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses.  Josh Bowling recorded three solo and eight assisted tackles.

Boyle County defeated Tates Creek by the score of 31-6.  Boyle County recorded 16 first downs and 293 yards of total offense.  They were penalized seven times for 73 yards.  Tates Creek recorded 11 first downs and 180 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized eight times for 75 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Dalton Stone led the Boyle County ground game with 53 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Cole Lanter carried the ball five times for 33 yards.  Avery Bodner added 27 yards on five carries.  Trey Lanter recorded 27 yards on three carries.  Jagger Gillis completed 13 of 18 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns.  Cole Lanter caught eight passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns.  Hayden Kelly added three receptions for 22 yards.  Cole Lanter returned one punt for 16 yards.  Jackson Smith kicked off six times for a 59.3 average and four touch backs.  Dalton Stone led the defense with five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Tommy Zeismer added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Avery Bodner recorded three solo and two assisted tackles.  Jagger Gillis added two solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss and recovered a fumble.  Cole Lanter intercepted a pass he returned 17 yards.

M. Underwood led Tates Creek’s ground game with 69 yards on 15 carries.  A. Witherington completed 16 of 33 passes for 122 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  M. Smith caught five passes for 63 yards and a touchdown.  M. Underwood added two receptions for 19 yards.  Kobe Middleton recorded two receptions for 18 yards.  Aliyon Blevins caught three passes for 10 yards.  M. Underwood led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Cartez Guy added five solo and two assisted tackles.  Laquan Newby recorded four solo and two assisted tackles.

Elder dominated tonight as Covington Catholic could not get untracked on offense and took a 28-6 victory.  Elder recorded 16 first downs and 358 yards of total offense.  They were penalized three times for 13 yards.  Covington Catholic recorded eight first downs and 177 yards of total offense.  They were penalized once for five yards and had three passes intercepted.

Will Summers led Elder’s ground game with 35 yards on 10 carries.  Luke Flowers carried the ball 10 times for 32 yards and a touchdown.  Drew Ramsey added 28 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.  Ben Hambleton carried the ball seven times for 17 yards.  Ben Hambleton completed 18 of 23 passes for 239 yards and one touchdown.  Drew Ramsey caught eight passes for 165 yards and a touchdown.  Andrew Harp caught five passes for 32 yards.  Nicholas Paff led the defense with five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Zack Gutekunst added four solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss and intercepted two passes.  Bartley Thomas intercepted a pass he returned 56 yards.

Reid Hummel led the Covington Catholic ground game with 68 yards on seven carries.  Adam Holtz completed seven of 17 passes for 91 yards and one touchdown with three interceptions.  Reid Hummel caught three passes for 25 yards and a touchdown.  Preston Agee caught one pass for 58 yards.  Robby Sandfoss returned two kickoffs for 99 yards with a long return of 54 yards.  Colin Gastright and David Sullivan led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles each.  Dallas Wirth added six solo and one assisted tackle with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.  Aiden Jones recorded five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss.

Madison Southern took an early 6-0 lead but it was all Southwestern the rest of the way as the Warriors claimed a 55-14 victory.  Southwestern recorded 28 first downs and 540 yards of total offense.  The Warriors were penalized nine times for 95 yards.  Madison Southern recorded 17 first downs and 278 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized seven times for 60 yards and lost a fumble.

Tanner Wright led Southwestern’s ground game with 113 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries.  Giddeon Brainard carried the ball seven times for 82 yards and two touchdowns.  Connor Crisp added 73 yards on nine carries.  Dylan Brand carried the ball five times for 44 yards.  Christian Walden added 32 yards on four carries.  Collin Burton completed three of three passes for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Maison Hibbard completed four of eight passes for 47 yards.  Matt Shadoan completed four of four passes for 22 yards and one touchdown.  Kaden Hewitt caught four passes for 51 yards.  Christian Walden caught one pass for 29 yards and a touchdown.  Kaden Flores added an eight yard touchdown reception.  Hayden Burton scored on a 37 yard fumble recovery return.  Dylan Brand returned two kickoffs for 42 yards.

Lexington Christian Academy was plagued by penalties (12-146 yards) and Madison Central was plagued by turnovers (4) in a typical opening game but LCA emerged with a 21-12 victory on the road.  The game was hotly contested and got a little “chippy” at times but there was some hard hits delivered by both teams tonight and the intensity level was high.  Lexington Christian Academy recorded 16 first downs and 351 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized 12 times for 146 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Madison Central recorded eight first downs and 228 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized six times for 38 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.

Xavier Brown led LCA’s ground game with 55 yards on nine carries.  Drew Nieves carried the ball 11 times for 55 yards.  Jeremiah Riffle added 28 yards on four carries.  Jveontae Emerson recorded 23 yards on three carries.  Drew Nieves completed 12 of 20 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Mason Moore caught six passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns.  Andrew Dobbs punted four times for a 40.2 average with a long punt of 55 yards with two kicks inside the 20 yard line and kicked off four times with four touch backs.  Evan Brown returned two kickoffs for 56 yards with a long return of 33 yards.  Tyler Morris led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 18 yards.  Will Nichols added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Jveontae Emerson intercepted a pass he returned 32 yards for a touchdown.  Evan Brown intercepted a pass he returned 19 yards and Mason Moore also intercepted a pass.  Will Bivens recovered a fumble.

Adrien Parks led Madison Central’s ground game with 95 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Brady Hensley was successful running the “Wildcat” carrying the ball eight times for 45 yards.  Elijah Steele completed four of 12 passes for 70 yards with two interceptions.  Jayden West caught two passes for 33 yards.  Brady Hensley added one reception for 33 yards.  Jeffrey Kinley led the defense with 11 solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted one pass he returned 41 yards.  Edgren Sweat added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Kyran Jackson recorded four solo tackles.  Brady Hensley added two solo and one assisted tackle and scored on an 81 yard fumble recovery return.  Jayden West also intercepted a pass.

Franklin County raced out to a 21-0 first quarter lead on their way to a 43-14 victory over Scott County.  Franklin County recorded 15 first downs and 376 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized seven times for 58 yards and lost one fumble.  Scott County recorded six first downs and 122 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized once for five yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.

Kaden Moorman led Franklin County’s ground game with 89 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.  Jayden Mattison carried the ball five times for 54 yards and a touchdown.  Jayden Mattison completed 13 of 17 passes for 213 yards and one touchdown.  Zack Claudio caught five passes for 86 yards and a touchdown.  Peyton Ledford added two receptions for 65 yards.  Kaden Moorman recorded two receptions for 44 yards.  Kaden Moorman returned one kickoff for 50 yards.  Brenton Sears led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackle and recovered a fumble he returned 10 yards.  Keaton Lee added five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss and scored on a 48 yard recovered fumble return.  Peyton Ledford recorded three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Braeden Tracy intercepted a pass.

Thomas Feickert led Scott County’s ground game with 40 yards on nine carries.  Montago Jones carried the ball four times for 31 yards.  Andrew Hickey completed three of 10 passes for 14 yards with one interception.  Paul Garner caught one pass for 10 yards.  Jeremy Hamilton scored on a 68 yard kickoff return and a 63 yard punt return.  Thomas Feickert returned three kickoffs for 77 yards including a long return of 66 yards.  Jeremy Hamilton led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles.  G. Robinson added four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Isaac Krebs recorded three solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.
