Lexi Blue, 6-2 Jr. Nyla Harris, 5-8 So. Eleecia Carter, and 5-8 Jr. Stefanie Ingram.

 

Paul VI defeated Lake Highland Prep by the score of 52-49 in overtime.  Paul VI shot 40% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  They connected on 12 of 26 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 28 Lake Highland Prep turnovers.  Lake Highland Prep shot 30.8% from the field including four of 22 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 13 of 15 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 21 Paul VI turnovers.

 

Jaelyn Talley led Paul VI with 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Lee Volker added 13 points including four of four free throws, six rebounds, and four steals.  Isabella Perkins recorded 10 points, four rebounds, and five steals.  Alyssa Costigan chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Sunrise Christian Academy eked out a 56-55 victory over Prolific Prep.  Prolific Prep led by seven points mid way through the final quarter but Sunrise Christian rallied for the victory.  Surise Christian shot 44.9% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line.  They connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Prolific Prep turnovers.  Prolific Prep shot 45.5% from the field including seven of 23 from beyond the arc.  They connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off nine Sunrise Christian turnovers.

 

Kendall Brown led Sunrise Christian with 21 points, four rebounds, and two steals.  Zachary Clemence added 12 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Kennedy Chandler recorded 11 points, three rebounds, five assists, and six steals.

La Lumiere raced out to a early eight point lead but Prolific Prep came back to earn a 45-43 victory.  Prolific Prep led by 12 midway through the final quarter but had to withstand a furious rally by La Lumiere to earn the victory.  La Lumiere had one last chance but Jeremy Fears misses a jumper at the buzzer for the tie.  Prolific Prep shot 33.3% from the field including two of 14 from the three point line.  They connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored four points off 11 La Lumiere turnovers.  La Lumiere shot 31.1% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 13 of 15 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 Prolific Prep turnovers.

 

Stefan Todoovic led Prolific Prep with 12 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists.  Adem Bona added nine points, six rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Nathan Brittle recorded eight points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  6-11 Jr. Mohammed Gueye chipped in with six points and six rebounds.

Sacred Heart captured the championship with a 49-47 thriller over Marshall County.  The score was tied 10 times and there were nine lead changes in the game.  Sacred Heart shot 38% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Marshall County turnovers.  Marshall County shot 47.4% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Marshals connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Marshall County held Henderson County to nine points in the second half in a 50-33 victory.  Henderson County was three of 21 from the field in the second half.  Marshall County shot a sizzling 73.9% from the field including six of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Marshals connected on 10 of 11 free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and committed 12 turnovers.  Henderson County shot 31.9% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Colonels connected on one of two free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers.

 

Cayson Conner led a balanced Marshall County scoring attack with 14 points including eight of eight free throws, five assists, and three steals.  Layne Pea added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Pea was four of four from the field including three of three from beyond the arc, and two of two free throws.  Halle Langhi recorded 12 points, five rebounds, four blocked shots, and two steals.  Jada Driver chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and two assists.

 

Jarie Thomas led Henderson County with 11 points, four rebounds, and two assists.  Sadie Wurth added seven points, three assists, and two steals.  5-2 So. Savannah Lacer recorded five points.
