Rowan County coach Shawn Thacker started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Mason Moore, 6-5 Jr. Chase Alderman, 6-7 Jr. Robby Todd, 5-10 Sr. Dilan Maxey, and 6-3 Sr. Nathan Goodpaster.  Ashland Blazer coach Jason Mays countered with 6-2 Fr. Zander Carter, 5-11 Jr. Ethan Sellars, 6-8 Sr. Sean Marcum, 5-11 So. Colin Porter, and 6-2 Jr. Cole Villers.

Ashland Blazer defeated Rowan County 62-58 in overtime to punch their ticket to the Sweet 16.  Ashland’s Colin Porter fouled out with 6:24 left in regulation and Mason Moore nailed a three point basket from the corner to send the game to overtime.  Rowan County led 43-34 after three quarters but Ashland battled back to take a 55-52 lead before Moore’s last second heroics in regulation to force overtime.  Ashland shot 44% from the field including 11 of 26 from the three point line.  The Tomcats connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 12 points off eight Rowan County turnovers.  Rowan County shot 48% from the field including six of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Vikings connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled own 23 rebounds, and scored five points off 11 Ashland turnovers.

Ethan Sellars led Ashland Blazer with 22 points including five three point baskets, five of six free throws and four rebounds.  Cole Villers added 16 points including four three point baskets, seven rebounds, and two assists.  Colin Porter recorded 15 points including two three point baskets, three of three free throws, and three rebounds.  Sean Marcum pulled down six rebounds.

Mason Moore led Rowan County with 16 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and six assists.  Nathan Goodpaster added 16 points.  Chase Alderman recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.  6-4 Sr. Jordan Justice chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.

Tramane Alcorn, and 6-2 Jr. Jaxon Smith.

Boyle County defeated Lincoln County 54-48 to capture the 12^th Region Championship.  There were two ties and seven lead changes in this game.  Boyle County shot 38.6% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line.  The Rebels connected on 14 of 15 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored four points off five Lincoln County turnovers.  Lincoln County shot 34.7% from the field including two of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Boyle County turnovers.

Luke Imfeld led Boyle County with 20 points including 13 of 14 free throws, four rebounds, and two assists.  Jagger Gillis added 14 points including four three point baskets and three rebounds.  Luke Sheperson recorded nine points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Sacred Heart Academy handed the Central Lady Jackets their first loss of the year by the score of 54-51.  The score was tied 12 times and there were 15 lead changes in this game.  Central had one last chance but an off balance three point shot at the buzzer was off target.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 32.6% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 22 of 32 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 Central turnovers.  Central shot 37.8% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Jackets connected on 37 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Bullitt East defeated Butler by the score of 48-45.  Butler had a good look at the three for the tie at the buzzer but the shot was off target and the Lady Chargers clinched their berth in the Sweet 16.  There were five lead changes and four ties in this game.  Bullitt East shot 41.9% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on eight of 18 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored eight points off seven Butler turnovers.  Butler shot 29.3% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc.  The Bearettes connected on 20 of 23 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Bullitt East turnovers.

Ashland Blazer’s Colin Porter nailed a three point basket in the closing seconds of regulation to force overtime and the Tomcats rallied to defeat West Carter by a score of 76-69.  West Carter trailed 49-44 after three quarters but West Carter rallied to lead 63-60 before Porter’s last second heroics to force the extra period. There were five ties and nine lead changes in the game. Ashland shot 46% from the field including 13 of 25 from the three point line.  The Tomcats connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 West Carter turnovers.  West Carter shot 49% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Comets connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 15 Ashland turnovers.

Ballard defeated Trinity by the score of 79-57.  Ballard shot 53.3% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Bruins connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and committed nine turnovers.  Trinity shot 40.4% from the field including 10 of 28 from beyond the arc.  The Shamrocks connected on five of five free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and committed 15 turnovers.

Keno Hayden led Ballard with 18 points and three steals.  Gabe Sisk added 16 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, seven rebounds, and three assists.  Chaunte Marrero recorded 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Maker Barr recorded 12 points, 18 rebounds, and two assists.

Miles Franklin led Trinity with 18 points including four three point baskets, and two blocked shots.  Zach Stahlman added 12 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds.  Ethan Hodge recorded six points, six rebounds, and seven assists.  Cam McClain and Will McMillan each recorded six points and five rebounds.
