Great Crossing coach Steve Page started the following lineup: 6-2 Fr. Vince Dawson, 6-2 Jr. Tye Schureman, 6-4 Jr. Kalib Perry, 5-7 Fr. Junius Burrell, and 5-10 Jr. Carson Walls.  Scott County coach Tim Glenn countered with 6-2 Jr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-3 Jr. Nick Mosby, 6-4 Sr. Elias Richardson, 5-8 Sr. Chase Grigsby, and 5-10 Jr. Andrew Willhite.

 

Great Crossing led 26-24 at halftime and pulled away in the second half to defeat Scott County 72-54.  There were three lead changes and five ties in the game.  Great Crossing shot 56% from the field including 10 of 18 from the three point line.  The Warhawks connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 43.2% from the field including eight of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Great Crossing turnovers.

 

Carson Walls led Great Crossing with 21 points including five three point baskets and three rebounds.  Vince Dawson added 13 points including two three point baskets.  5-11 Fr. Christian Martin recorded 13 points and two steals.  Kalib Perry added 10 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

6-1 Jr. Micah Glenn led Scott County with 13 points.  6-2 Jr. Isaiah Haynes added 11 points including three three point baskets.  Chase Grigsby recorded 11 points.

Franklin County dominated tonight in a 59-33 victory over Madison Central.  Franklin County shot 50% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on five of 14 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 19 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 22% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored eight points off 18 Franklin County turnovers.

 

Brooklynn Miles led Franklin County with 17 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Shauvi Kennedy added 12 points, three rebounds, and two steals.  Nevaeh Carter recorded nine points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Jhaven Meade chipped in with six points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Patience Laster added five points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Tim Hall led Paul Laurence Dunbar with 28 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Lionel Kumwimba added 11 points and nine rebounds.  Zach Carter recorded nine points on three three point baskets, four assists, and two steals.  Nick Spalding chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, and five assists.
