Eastern Illinois University defeated Eastern Kentucky University by the score of 73-68.. There were eight lead changes and four ties in this game.  Eastern Illinois shot 40.7% from the field including four of 21 from the three point line.  They connected on 21 of 32 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 22 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 47.4% from the field including eight of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 12 points off nine EIU turnovers.

 

Karle Pace led EIU with 32 points including three three point baskets, and 13 of 18 free throws.  Abby Wahl added 10 points, nine rebound, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Lariah Washington recorded nine points, four rebounds, and two steals.  Kira Arthofer chipped in with eight points, 11 assists, and four steals.  Morgan Litwiller added six points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

 

Jayla Johnson led Eastern Kentucky with 17 points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.  6-3 So. Emma Hacker added 12 points, four rebounds, and two assists.  5-9 Fr. Sacred Heart trailed 47-38 in the third quarter but rallied to earn a 71-62 victory over Ryle.  There were four ties and three lead changes in the game.  Sacred Heart shot 40.7% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 33 points off 30 Ryle turnovers.  Ryle shot 52.3% from the field including five of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Raiders connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Triniti Ralston led Sacred Heart Academy with 25 points including two three point baskets, 11 of 14 free throws, two rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  5-7 Sr. Aubree Littlejohn added 13 points, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Alex Wolff recorded 10 points and three rebounds.  Josie Gilvin chipped in with nine points, seven rebounds, two assists, and four steals.

Mitchell Rylee led Covington Catholic with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists.  Evan Ipsaro added 22 points, five assists, and two steals.  Ipsaro was nine of 10 from the field and four of four free throws.  6-4 Sr. Donovan Stocks recorded seven points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Walker Horn chipped in with seven points, two assists, and two steals.  Chandler Starks recorded two points, 12 rebounds, and three assists.

Whitley County defeated Madison Central by the score of 56-35 in another game in which Madison Central could not get untracked on offense.  Whitley County led 24-18 after the first quarter and outscored the Lady Indians 18-4 in the second quarter to lead 42-22 at halftime.  Whitley County shot 42.9% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line.  The Lady Colonels connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 25.4% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on one of five free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored nine points off 20 Whitley County turnovers.

 

Darcie Anderson led Whitley County with 16 points including three three point baskets and six assists.  Reis Anderson added 15 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds.  Gracie-Jo Wilder recorded nine points, 12 rebounds, four blocked shits, and two steals.  Jaycie Monhollen chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and two assists.

Henry Clay led 49-33 with 3:15 left in the third quarter but had to survive a furious Madison Southern rally to earn a 77-76 victory.  The score was tied three times and there were three lead changes in this game.  Henry Clay shot 52,3% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 25 of 33 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 18 Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 50% from the field including 12 of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Aziel Blackwell led Henry Clay with 21 points including 11 of 12 free throws, six rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals.  Darik Holman added 14 points, eight rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.  5-8 So. Konlin Brown also recorded 14 points including four three point baskets.  Kanye Henderson chipped in with nine points including four of five free throws, two assists, and three steals.  6-0 So. Mason Hawkins added eight points including four of five free throws.

 

Trent DeVries led Madison Southern with 22 points including five three point baskets, four assists, and two steals.  Jayden Adams added 15 points including three three point baskets.  6-1 So. Jay Rose recorded 10 points and five rebounds.  Zach Hudson chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets and three rebounds.
