Murray defeated Marshall County by a score of 58-7.  Murray recorded 23 first downs and 409 yards of total offense.  The Tigers were penalized six times for 65 yards and lost a fumble.  Marshall County recorded five first downs and 127 yards of total offense.  The Marshalls were penalized nine times for 75 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Charvelle McCallister led Murray’s ground game with 116 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.  Hunter Utley completed 19 of 21 passes for 280 yards and six touchdowns.  Jorden Duffy caught four passes for 79 yards and two touchdowns.  Tommy Waldrop added six receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown.  Jaiden Jackson added five receptions for 52 yards and two touchdowns.  Dijon Miles caught a 50 yard touchdown pass.  Charvelle McCallister recorded three receptions for 46 yards.  Sebastian Lawrence led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles.  Damon Boyd added one solo and four assisted tackles. 

Luke Wyatt led Marshall County’s ground game with 24 yards on seven carries.  Quinn Smith completed four of 11 passes for 94 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Bryce Flatt caught one pass for 70 yards.  Cody Sorrells caught an 11 yard touchdown pass.  Bryce Flatt led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles.  Dawson Smothers added three solo and one assisted tackles.

Both teams combined for 61 first downs and 939 yards of total offense as Lexington Christian Academy defeated Cincinnati Hills Christian by a score of 47-37.  LCA recorded 32 first downs and 520 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized six times for 60 yards and had a pass intercepted.  CHC recorded 29 first downs and 419 yards of total offense.  They were penalized seven times for 85 yards.

Xavier Brown led Lexington Christian Academy’s ground game with 80 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.  Jayden Barnhardt carried the ball 11 times for 35 yards and two touchdowns.  Jayden Barnhardt completed 21 of 32 passes for 321 yards and two touchdowns.  Mason Moore completed five of eight passes for 39 yards with one interception.  Dearious Smith caught 12 passes for 243 yards and one touchdown.  Elijah Hammond added six receptions for 47 yards.  Will Vernon caught three passes for 22 yards and a touchdown.  Frankie Knight returned four kickoffs for 77 yards.  Frankie Knight led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles.  Mattie Lebryk added five solo and one assisted tackles.  Mason Moore recorded five solo tackles.

Cole Fisher led Cincinnati Hills Christian’s ground attack with 143 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries.  Cole Fisher completed 23 of 39 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns.  Blake Lloyd caught five passes for 58 yards and one touchdown.  Ian Salkil added three receptions for 51 yards.  Morgan Sacay caught two passes for 48 yards.  Garrett Jostworth added seve receptions for 46 yards.  Adam Bauer added two receptions for 31 yards and two touchdowns.  Adam Bauer returned three kickoffs for 58 yards.  Jacob Younkin led the defense with five solo and nine assisted tackles.  Andrew Vest added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Adam Bauer recorded three solo and four assisted tackles.

The Frederick Douglass held Lafayette to five yards of total offense in a 40-0 victory tonight.  Frederick Douglass recorded 14 first downs and 246 yards of total offense.  The Broncos were penalized 11 times for 94 yards.  Lafayette recorded one first down and five yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized five times for 56 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Josh McClurg led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 107 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Devin Neal carried the ball seven times for 27 yards and a touchdown.  Darius Neal added 24 yards on five carries.  Josh McClurg completed 11 of 16 passes for 67 yards and one touchdown.  Jesse Robinson caught four passes for 13 yards.  Jakari Cowherd added three receptions for 29 yards.  Dane Key recorded two receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown.  Dane Key returned two punts for 57 yards including a 54 yard punt for a touchdown.  Caden Johnson returned a punt 12 yards for a touchdown.  Obediah Commodore led the defense with three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Ty Bryant also recorded three solo tackles.  Connor Farley and Jasin Burnam each intercepted a pass.

Noah King led the Lafayette ground game with four yards on one carry.  Tanner Pace completed three of nine passes for 13 yards with two interceptions.  Austin Anderson caught one pass for seven yards.  Noah Curtsinger added one reception for six yards.  Chase Bradford led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles.  Jaylen Lawson added six solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Jay Brank recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.

It was a magical night in Winchester as they played their first game in a brand new stadium with a packed house and an opponent with a high octane offense.  Tates Creek was plagued with injuries to their offensive line with four starters setting out this game but they still had a group of explosive playmakers capable of lighting up the scoreboard.  Tates Creek led 14-0 early in the second quarter but George Rogers Clark scored 28 unanswered points to take a 28-14 lead and then withstood a Tates Creek rally to earn a 34-28 victory.  George Rogers Clark recorded 11 first downs and 258 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 40 yards and lost a fumble.  Tates Creek recorded 18 first downs and 470 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized 16 times for 247 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Azariah Israel led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 131 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.  Jordan Manley completed six of 12 passes for 116 yards and three touchdowns.  Jeremiah Johnson caught two passes for 37 yards and a touchdown.  Azariah Israel caught a 57 yard touchdown pass and Dylan Gibson added a 14 yard scoring reception.  Jeremiah Mundy-Lloyd returned a punt for 83 yards to set up a touchdown.  Tye Boyken led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Arthur Haskinsill also recorded six solo and two assisted tackles.  Quandre Okolo recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 14 yard loss.  Isiah Porter recovered a fumble and Azariah Israel recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass.

Marcus Bosley led Tates Creek’s ground game with 85 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.  Luke Duby completed 24 of 47 passes for 386 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Kobe Middleton caught six passes for 79 yards and a touchdown.  Miles Thomas added five receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns.  Elliot Bryant added five receptions for 41 yards.  Marcus Bosley caught two passes for 69 yards.  Migisa Dhemani returned two kickoffs for 42 yards.  Isaiah McFarland led the defense with 10 solo and three assisted tackles with 6.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 27 yards.  JY Acosta added four solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Marcus Bosley recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.

Scott County defeated DuPont Manual 48-35 in an offensive shootout tonight.  Scott County trailed 14-12 at halftime and the score was tied 28-28 late in the third quarter.  Scott County then scored 20 unanswered points to take a 48-28 lead late in the final quarter before Manual added a late touchdown.  Scott County recorded 21 first downs and 476 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized three times for 45 yards.  DuPont Manual recorded 19 first downs and 415 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 31 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Phillip Garner led the Scott County ground attack with 198 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries.  Bronson Brown carried the ball 12 times for 105 yards.  Jeremy Hamilton added 48 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Cade McKee completed three of four passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns.  Jeremy Hamilton caught a 74 yard touchdown pass and Micah McClave added a 35 yard scoring reception.  Sam Daniel and Rylan Reed led the defense as each recorded four solo and five assisted tackles.  John Hulette added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Bronson Brown scored on a 55 yard interception return.

Ramont Townsend led DuPont Manual’s ground game with 96 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.  J. Northington carried the ball 10 times for 47 yards and two touchdowns.  Z. Rechtenwald added 33 yards on three carries.  Z. Madison Southern won the battle of Madison County tonight with a 34-25 victory over Madison Central.  Madison Southern recorded 16 first downs and 435 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized 14 times for 124 yards, lost a fumble, and had one pass intercepted.  Madison Central recorded 12 first downs and 251 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized six times for 74 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Tobias Storm led Madison Southern’s ground game with 157 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.  Adrian Jones carried the ball 17 times for 76 yards.  Tobias Storm completed nine of 11 passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Walt Smith completed his only pass fro 32 yards and a touchdown.  Walt Smith caught three passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns.  Broc Parmer added two receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown.  Levi Benton led the defense with seven solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Clay Bunch added three solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Walt Smith intercepted a pass he returned 33 yards.

Joe Burton led Madison Central’s ground attack with 88 yards on 17 carries.  Adrien Parks carried the ball 12 times for 63 yards and a touchdown.  Ashton Hulberg scored two touchdowns on short yardage runs.  Canon Scenters completed eight of 21 passes for 95 yards with one touchdown.  Ashton Hulberg caught four passes for 23 yards.  John Landsaw added three receptions for 63 yards.  Deashon Gowdey returned two kickoffs for 57 yards with a long return of 29 yards.  Patrick Moren kicked off three times for an average of 58 yards with two touchbacks.  Kyran Jackson led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Edgren Sweat added four solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Trey Parks recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Kris Olinger intercepted a pass he returned 45 yards and Deashon Gowdey recovered a fumble.

Turnovers, penalties, and a missed two point conversion attempt doomed Anderson County as they lost a home game to Mercer County by a score of 15-13.  Anderson County lost two fumbles, had three passes intercepted, and was penalized 18 times for 158 yards.  Despite these numbers Anderson County held a 311-185 advantage in total yards and still had a chance to tie the game late but failed on their two point conversion attempt.  Mercer County recorded nine first downs and 185 yards of total offense.  The Titans were penalized eight times for 86 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Anderson County recorded 13 first downs and 311 yards of total offense.

Malachi Yulee led Mercer County’s ground game with 101 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Brayden Dunn carried the ball six times for 44 yards and a touchdown.  Kaelin Drakeford completed three of 14 passes for 39 yards with one interception.  Jamisen Lewis caught one pass for 34 yards.  Jamisen Lewis returned two kickoffs for 42 yards.  Brayden Dunn led the defense with 11 solo tackles.  Dillon Warren added seven solo tackles.  Bryson Yeast chipped in with five solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.  Kaelin Drakeford recorded three solo tackles, recovered two fumbles he returned for 40 yards, and intercepted two passes he returned 13 yards.  Isaiah Dismuke also intercepted a pass.

Kynan Russell led Anderson County’s ground game with 53 yards on 12 carries.  Zach Labhart carried the ball 11 times for 24 yards.  Jagger Gillis completed 17 of 30 passes for 234 yards and one touchdown with three interceptions.  Sam Herrod caught eight passes for 95 yards and a touchdown.  Kynan Russell added 110 yards on five receptions.  Kynan Russell returned three punts for 157 yards including an 85 yard return for a touchdown.  Zach Shouse led the defense with nine solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.  Darien Dearinger added seven solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Zach Labhart and Chase Fink each recorded five solo tackles.  Blake Boudreaux added four solo tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Jacob Castle intercepted a pass he returned nine yards.

East Jessamine led 28-7 after three quarters but had to withstand a rally by Paul Laurence Dunbar to earn a 28-21 victory.  East Jessamine recorded 19 first downs and 332 yards of total offense.  The Jaguars were penalized five times for 58 yards.  Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 15 first downs and 324 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized eight times for 40 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Dylan Moore led East Jessamine’s ground game with 141 yards and three touchdowns on 34 carries.  Turner McHolan carried the ball 13 times for 122 yards.  Valdon Miles added 39 yards on 15 carries.  Turner McHolan completed three of 11 passes for 38 yards and one touchdown.  Jaylen Taylor caught two passes for 17 yards and a touchdown.  Dylan Moore added one reception for 21 yards.  Cameron Segar led the defense with five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Connor Darby added two solo tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 31 yards.

Mitchell Joseph led Dunbar’s ground game with 31 yards on six carries.  Jacob Greene added 31 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Jake Smith carried the ball twice for 23 yards.  Jake Smith completed 16 of 31 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Jamarcus Robinson caught six passes for 111 yards and a touchdown.  Frank Illunga added two receptions for 27 yards.  Howard Jackson caught a 44 yard touchdown reception.  Mario Paul returned one kickoff for 17 yards and a punt for 24 yards.  Howard Jackson led the defense with 13 solo and three assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  John Law added seven solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Josiah Brown recorded seven solo tackles.

Lexington Catholic led 38-24 with 8:16 left in the game but Covington Catholic rallied to earn a 39-38 victory.  This game was billed as a matchup between two of the top candidates for Mr. Football in Beau Allen of Lexington Catholic and Michael Mayer of Covington Catholic.  Covington Catholic recorded 25 first downs and 454 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized twice for 20 yards and lost two fumbles.  Lexington Catholic recorded 21 first downs and 472 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized six times for 38 yards and lost a fumble.

Daniel Felix led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 89 yards and a touchdown on nine carries and scored what proved to be the winning points on a two point conversion run.  Michael Boydston added 65 yards on eight carries.  Owen Nally carried the ball seven times for 31 yards and a touchdown.  QB Caleb Jacob added 22 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.  Caleb Jacob completed 17 of 26 passes for 243 yards and a touchdown.  Michael Mayer caught six passes for 79 yards.  Andre Molique added five receptions for 93 yards.  Daniel Felix added a 29 yard touchdown reception.  Michael Boydston returned six kickoffs for 166 yards with a long return of 51 yards.  Daniel Felix led the defense with 10 solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards and recovered a fumble.  Michael Mayer added five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  David Brunson also recorded five solo and one assisted tackles.  John Lawrie added four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Trey Gronette kicked off seven times for an 58.3 average with three touchbacks.

Ryan Nichols led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 35 yards on seven carries.  Beau Allen completed 23 of 33 passes for 455 yards and five touchdowns and was sacked six times.  Jackson Corbett caught six passes for 93 yards.  Blake Busson added three receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns.  Dylan Bracken caught three passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.  Chase Blair and Jack Gohman each added touchdown receptions of 47 and 19 yards respectively.  Dylan Bracken returned three kickoffs for 67 yards with a long return of 25 yards.  Jackson Corbett returned one kickoff for 33 yards.  Phillipe Irumva led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards.  Ryan Gallagher added five solo and five assisted tackles.  John Simms recorded four solo and two assisted tackles and recovered two fumbles.
