6-0 Jr. Whitney Hay led Elizabethtown with 34 points including two three point baskets, three assists, and two steals.  6-0 Jr. Sydney Clark added 18 points and 15 rebounds.  5-9 Jr. Ellie Taylor recorded 10 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and three blocked shots.

Berea led three points at halftime but Clay County rallied for a 58-50 victory.  Clay County shot 44.2% from the field including seven of 27 from the three point line.  The Lady Tigers connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and committed two turnovers.  Berea shot 66.7% from the field including five of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pirates connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and committed 16 turnovers.

5-9 Jr. Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 27 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  5-9 Sr. Summer Parker added 11 points and four rebounds.  5-6 Sr. Kimberlyn Mills recorded eight points including two three point baskets.  5-8 Sr. Shelby Phillips added seven points.

North Laurel trailed 40-36 after three quarters but The Lady Jaguars outscored Clay County 20-12 in the final quarter to earn a 56-52 victory.  5-9 Jr. Isabel Gray sparked the victors with 16 of her 20 game points including four three point baskets in the final quarter.  North Laurel shot 48.2% from the field including six of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Jaguars connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and committed eight turnovers.  Clay County shot 38.8% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Tigers connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and committed 10 turnovers.

5-9 Jr. Isabel Gray led North Laurel with 20 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.  5-3 Fr. Hailee Valentine added 15 points and 5-5 Jr. Gracie Jervis recorded nine points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  6-4 Sr. Raegan Hubbard pulled down eight rebounds.

Madison Central trailed 18-15 at halftime but outscored Lexington Christian Academy 21-5 in the third quarter on their way to a 48-37 victory.  Madison Central shot 30.2% from the field including zero of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 23 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 29.2% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers.

Jekauri McKeithen led Madison Central with 23 points and 13 rebounds.  Taleya Todd added 17 points including seven of nine free throws, four rebounds, four blocked shots, and three steals.  Kelsey Powell recorded eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Madison Barnard added two points, six rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

Lincoln County started district play with a 79-64 victory over Danville.  Danville managed to pull within three points in the third quarter but could never catch the high flying Lady Patriots on this night.  Lincoln County shot 50.7% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Patriots connected on four of six free throws and pulled down 36 rebounds.  Danville shot 43.4% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Admirals connected on 14 of 27 free throws and pulled down 24 rebounds.

6-0 Sr. Kaitlynn Wilks led Lincoln County with 24 points and 10 rebounds.  5-11 Sr. Emma King added 21 points and eight rebounds.  5-10 Sr. Zaria Napier recorded 13 points and 10 rebounds and 5-6 Sr. Maddy Boyle also scored 13 points including three three point baskets.

South Laurel trailed 47-42 at halftime but fueled by a 22-10 advantage in the third quarter earned an 83-75 victory over Cookeville (TN).  5-6 Jr. Ally Collett led South Laurel with 30 points and recorded six assists and was named Tournament MVP.  5-6 Jr. Sydnie Hall and 5-7 Jr. Amerah Steele added 20 and 18 points respectively and both were named to the All-Tournament Team.

6-0 Sr. Chloe Savage led Cookeville (TN) with 26 points.  So. Alyssa Love and 5-9 Fr. KK Graves added 15 and 13 points respectively.

This was a marquee matchup between two Marshall University Thundering Herd basketball signees (Savannah Wheeler of Boyd County and Paige Shy of Huntington St. Joseph) and neither disappointed as Paige Shy led St. Joseph to a 73-68 victory over Boyd County but both had great games.  St. Joseph never trailed in the game but Boyd County refused to quit and rebounded from a 12 point deficit in the first quarter to tie the game but St. Joseph rallied to lead 33-30 at halftime.  Boyd County had one more rally left and pulled within two; 59-57 with a little more than three minutes left in the game.  Paige Shy then scored seven straight points to take control of the game.

5-11 Sr. Paige Shy led Huntington St. Joseph with 25 points including four three point baskets and eight rebounds.  5-5 Sr. Jena Jarrells added 17 points.  6-0 So. Hannah Roberts recorded 13 points and 5-7 Jr. Bailee Adkins chipped in with 11 points.

5-6 Sr. Savannah Wheeler led Boyd County with 43 points including four three point baskets and seven of nine free throws.  Wheeler scored 29 of her 43 points after halftime and also pulled down 10 rebounds.  5-7 So. Harley Paynter added 19 points including four three point baskets and 10 points.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Owensboro Catholic by a score of 50-48.  The score was tied four times and there were 12 lead changes in the game.  Sacred Heart shot 42.2% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 14 Owensboro Catholic turnovers.  Owensboro Catholic shot 39.6% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Aces connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Kristen Clemons led Sacred heart with 18 points including seven of eight free throws and six rebounds.  Destinee Marshall and 5-7 Fr. Olivia Kaufman added eight points each.  Ashlee Harris recorded four points, three rebounds, nine assists, and three steals.

Madison Central earned a big win tonight with a 55-48 victory over Madison Southern in a district matchup.  The score was tied five times and there were five lead changes in the game.  Madison Central shot 43.2% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 27.3% from the field including five of 30 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored six points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.
