Lexington Catholic raced out to a 31-2 halftime lead on their way to a 51-25 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  LCA only managed one of 16 (6.25%) from the field in the first half.  Lexington Catholic shot 30.9% from the field including eight of 24 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 20.6% from the field including two of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Jay Ballard led Lexington Catholic with 17 points including three three point baskets.  Maya Jazdzewski and Olivia Haines added eight points each.  5-8 Fr. Farah Weldon recorded six points and five rebounds.

Bethany Selby led Lexington Christian Academy with eight points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Jaylin McClanahan added six points and three rebounds.  Grace Combs recorded four points, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.

Sacred Heart shot 51.7% from the field including 10 of 19 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 19 Nelson County turnovers.  Nelson County shot 24.5% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cards connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 17 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, five assists, and two blocked shots.  Ashlee Harris added 14 points.  Kiki Samsel recorded 12 points including three three point baskets and three steals.  5-5 So. Madison Central defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 50-44.  The Indians led 28-18 at halftime and withstood a late rally by LCA to earn the victory.  Madison Central led by Je’Kauri McKeithen’s 20 points and 10 rebounds dominated scoring in the paint by a 26-14 advantage over the Eagles.  Madison Central shot 41.3% from the field including zero of 11 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 36.2% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers.
