UT Martin coach Heath Schroyer started the following lineup: 6-6 Sr. Twymond Howard, 6-4 So. Richard Lee, 6-7 Sr. Myles Taylor, 5-11 Sr. Alex Anderson, and 6-3 Sr. Terrence Durham. Eastern Kentucky University coach Dan McHale countered with 6-7 Sr. Jarelle Reischel, 6-5 Jr. Javontae Hawkins, 6-9 Fr. Nick Mayo, 6-2 Jr. Isaac McGlone, and 6-4 Jr. Jaylen Babb-Harrison.
UT Martin led for most of the game (35:56 minutes) on their way to a 78-70 victory over Eastern Kentucky University. UT Martin held a 13 point lead late in the first half and Eastern Kentucky held a two point lead with 6:41 remaining in the game. 6-0 Jr. Jacolby Mobley led UT Martin with 18 points including four three point baskets. Twymond Howard added 16 points and five rebounds. Myles Taylor recorded 15 points and seven rebounds. Alex Anderson chipped in with nine points.
Jarelle Reischel led Eastern Kentucky University with 22 points and seven rebounds. Javontae Hawkins added 17 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Isaac McGlone recorded 13 points including four three point baskets and four rebounds. Nick Mayo chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds.
