Tates creek coach Michael Allen started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Robert Gardner, 6-2 Jr. Decotah Fay, 6-4 Jr. Isaiah Patterson, 6-0 Fr. Isaiah Allen, and 6-0 So. Eric Boone.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 So. Zan Payne, 6-1 Sr. JJ Ogbogu, 6-6 Jr. Peter Whitman, 6-0 Sr. Donovan Morris, and 6-3 Jr. Luke Johnson.

 

Lexington Catholic defeated Tates Creek by a score of 85-53.  Lexington Catholic shot 51.5% from the field including eight of 18 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on nine of 20 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 13 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 37.3% from the field including zero of eight from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 15 of 25 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored three points off eight Lexington Catholic turnovers.

 

6-2 Jr. Blake Scott led Lexington Catholic with 21 points on seven three point baskets.  Scott was seven of 11 from the field including seven of 10 from beyond the arc.  JJ Ogbogu added 13 points.  Luke Johnson chipped in with 10 points, seven assists, and three steals.  Donovan Morris recorded seven points and nine assists.

 

Eric Boone led Tates Creek with 15 points and five assists.  Isaiah Patterson added nine points and nine rebounds.  Decotah Fay chipped in with eight points.

Justin Mitchell, 6-5 Sr. Jordan Houston, 5-9 Sr. JaQuise Simpson, and 6-1 Sr. Isaiah Tisdale.  Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson Jr. countered with 6-2 Sr. Tim Dunn, 6-1 So. Terrance Murphy, 6-3 Jr. David DeMarcus, 5-7 Sr. Rafael Few, and 6-0 Sr. Andre Davis.

 

Bryan Station continues to struggle as Henry Clay defeated the Defenders by a score of 75-40.  Bryan Station lost their inside threat 6-5 Deandre Dishman very early in the season and have struggled at times to score.  Henry Clay 15 players tonight with 14 entering the scoring column.  Henry Clay shot 54.9% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 31.1% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 16 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay held a 16-3 advantage in second effort points.

 

Jordan Houston led Henry Clay with 13 points and six rebounds.  Isaiah Tisdale added 12 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Leander Ridgeway chipped in with 10 points.  5-11 Fr. Keaston Brown recorded eight points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.

The score was tied 31-31 at halftime and DuPont Manual pulled away in the second half to defeat Mercy Academy by a score of 59-47.  Manual shot 36.9% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Crimsons connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored eight points off 14 Mercy turnovers.  Mercy shot 25.8% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 13 of 15 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored nine points off 21 Manual turnovers.

 

Jaela Johnson led Manual with 27 points including 10 of 11 free throws.  Krystalline McCune added 14 points and 13 rebounds.  Tyonne Howard recorded seven points, 10 rebounds, and four steals.

Assumption trailed 41-37 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Pleasure Ridge Park by a score of 60-58.  The score was tied seven times and there were 11 lead changes in the game.  Assumption shot 44% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line.  The Rockets connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 PRP turnovers.  PRP shot 44.7% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Panthers connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 Assumption turnovers.

Henry Clay led Scott County 53-47 in the final quarter but the Lady Cardinals outscored Henry Clay 12-2 in the final 2:13 to earn a 59-55 victory.  There were six lead changes and eight ties in the game. Scott County shot 37% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 15 of 24 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 30.3% from the field including six of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 15 Scott County turnovers.

 

Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Juliette Smith added 13 points and three assists.  Bailey Hawkins chipped in with 10 points and four rebounds.  Lauren Boehm recorded eight points and seven rebounds.
