Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Rudy Guy, 6-2 Sr. Tim Dunn, 6-3 Jr. David DeMarcus, 5-8 Sr. Rafael Few, and 6-0 Sr. Andre Davis.  Ballard coach Chris Renner countered with 6-2 So. Delonta Wimberly, 6-1 Sr. Cameron Snider, 6-3 Sr. Jake Ramsey, 5-10 Sr. Brian Alvey, and 5-9 Jr. Jamil Wilson.

Bryan Station defeated Ballard by a score of 70-65.  The score was tied six times and there were six lead changes in the game.  Bryan Station shot 51% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 14 of 30 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Ballard turnovers.  Ballard shot 37% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Bruins connected on five of 15 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 Bryan Station turnovers.

Andre Davis led Bryan Station with 22 points, four rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Tim Dunn added 19 points and nine rebounds.  David DeMarcus recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Jamil Wilson led Ballard with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and three assists.  Cameron Snider added 11 points including three three point baskets.  Brian Alvey chipped in with nine points and Jake Ramsey pulled down 12 rebounds.

Mercer County defeated Henry Clay by a score of 78-57.  Mercer County held a 42-12 in three point points.  Mercer County shot 43.9% from the field including 14 of 31 from the three point line.  The Titans connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 26 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 37.8% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 19 of 32 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Mercer County turnovers.

Seygan Robbins led Mercer County with 24 points including five three point baskets and seven assists.  Lexy Lake added 17 points including five three point baskets.  Lyric Houston recorded nine points, four rebounds, four assists, and five steals.  Seygan Robbins was named Game MVP.

T’Laya Lyvers led Henry Clay with 13 points, five rebounds, and four steals.  5-8 Jr. Lexi Long and 5-4 So. Alexis Lutz each recorded 12 points.

Franklin County trailed 35-26 after three quarters but rallied for a 50-47 victory over DuPont Manual.  Franklin County shot 23.1% from the field including two of 22 from the three point line.  The Flyers connected on 24 of 44 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 22 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 28.85 from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Crimsons connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Franklin County turnovers.

Rebecca Cook led Franklin County with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Princess Stewart added 11 points and eight rebounds.  Malaka Frank recorded eight points and six rebounds.  Rebecca Cook was named Game MVP.

Krys McCune led Manual with 16 points.  Jaela Johnson added 12 points.  Tonysha Curry pulled down 14 rebounds.  5-11 Fr. Nila Blackford chipped in with five points and nine rebounds.

Glasgow star Breanna Glover had a dominating performance today and Harlan County star Blair Green got three quick fouls and was limited to 19:29 minutes as Glasgow earned a 56-46 victory.  Glasgow shot 36.8% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Scotties connected on 12 of 26 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 27 Harlan County turnovers.  Harlan County shot 45.5% from the field including two of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Black Bears connected on for of 11 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Glasgow turnovers.

Breanna Glover led Glasgow with 34 points, 16 rebounds, two blocked shots, and nine steals.  Kaylyn Hale added seven points.  Breanna Glover was named Game MVP.

Kaylea Gross led Harlan County with 14 points and eight rebounds.  Rebecca Middleton added 11 points.  Breann Turner pulled down 10 rebounds.  Blair Green recorded seven points, four rebounds, and seven assists.

Covington Holy Cross trailed 16-9 at halftime but quickly erased the deficit with three three point baskets early in the third quarter on their way to a 41-35 victory over Allen County-Scottsville.  Covington Holy Cross shot 44.4% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on four of 10 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers.  Allen County-Scottsville shot 22.2% from the field including zero of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady patriots connected on 19 of 26 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 19 Covington Holy cross turnovers.

Aleah Tucker led Covington Holy cross with 17 points including three three point baskets and three steals.  Dajah McClendon added 10 points.  Aleah Tucker was named Game MVP.

Mason Towery led Allen County-Scottsville with 11 points and six rebounds.  Savannah Gregory added 11 points, four rebounds, and three steals.

Kia Sivils, 5-11 So. Grace Berger, 5-10 Sr. Lydia Taylor, 5-5 So. Kiki Samsel, and 5-4 Fr. Ashlee Harris.

Sacred Heart raced out to an early lead on their way to an 85-52 victory over Nelson County.  Sacred Heart shot a sizzling 63.8% from the field including nine of 16 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on two of five free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 37 points off 24 Nelson County turnovers.  Nelson County shot 39.6% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Sacred Heart turnovers.  Despite the wide margin Nelson County impressed me with their tenacity and fight to the very end of the game.

Kia Sivils led Sacred Heart with 19 points and five steals.  Sivils was nine of 10 from the field including one for one from beyond the arc.  5-8 So. Natalie Fichter added 14 points including four three point baskets.  Kiki Samsel chipped in with 12 points and five assists.  Ashlee Harris recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.  Grace Berger added seven points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.  Kia Sivils was named Game MVP.

Brooklyn Greer led Nelson County with 17 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Shyla Calbert added 15 points.  LeLe Linton recorded 10 points and six rebounds.

Danielle Roney.  Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom countered with 5-6 Sr. Asjah Hall, 5-5 Jr. Carah Burdette, 5-6 Sr. Destiny Cozart, 5-6 Fr. KeyLynn Clay, and 5-4 Sr. Ezhaunaii Ighodaro.

Boyle County pulled away after the first quarter to earn a 63-54 victory over a very athletic Bryan Station squad.  Bryan Station has some newcomers on the squad and will develop into an excellent team with experience.  Boyle County ran a very efficient offense and pounded the boards today.  Boyle County shot 36.1% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady rebels connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 38% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on four of seven free throws and committed 21 turnovers.

Gracie Edmiston led Boyle County with 24 points and seven rebounds.  Danielle Roney and Emmy Harris each recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds.  Marlee Smith also scored 12 points and pulled down nine rebounds.  Gracie Edmiston was named Game MVP.

Ezhaunaii Ighodaro led Bryan Station with 12 points.  KeyLynn Clay and Destiny Cozart each scored nine points and Carah Burdette added seven points.

Lafayette outscored Madison Central 22-9 in the second quarter on their way to a 72-56 victory.  There were four lead changes and two ties in this game.  Lafayette shot 45.8% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 23 of 32 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 17 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 34.9% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 22 of 41 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored seven points off 17 Lafayette turnovers.

Ross Jenkins led Lafayette with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Harrison Lane also scored 15 points including three three point baskets.  TJ Downey and 5-10 Jr. Chris Wharton each scored 10 points.

John Williams led Madison Central with 14 points including eight of 12 free throws and five rebounds.  Terique Miller added 12 points.  5-10 Sr. Seth Richardson chipped in with 10 points.  Dakota Begley pulled down seven rebounds.

5-8 Sr. Paul Price came off the bench to score 26 points including six three point baskets in 15:10 minutes.  Leander Ridgeway added 17 points and four assists.  Isaiah Tisdale recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  6-3 So. Justin Mitchell chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds.  Jordan Houston pulled down 10 rebounds.
