Danville intercepted five passes, three of which they returned for touchdowns in a 56-14 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Danville recorded 16 first downs and 361 yards of total offense.  The Admirals were penalized five times for 40 yards and lost a fumble.  LCA recorded 10 first downs and 119 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized twice for 10 yards and had five passes intercepted.

Stephen Ray led Danville’s ground game with 124 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries.  Jakobi Turner carried the ball twice for 60yards and a touchdown.  Zach Dampier completed seven of nine passes for 158 yards and a touchdown.  D’mauriae Vancleave caught three passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Tristan Coffey added two receptions for 58 yards.  Don Harris led the defense with one solo and six assisted tackles.  Jaleel Warren added three solo and one assisted tackles.  Tyrek Bradshaw, D’mauriae Vancleave, and Tristan Coffey each scored on interception returns.

Dillon Wheatley led LCA’s ground game with 86 yards on 20 carries.  Brayden Miller completed four of 11 passes for 57 yards and two touchdowns with five interceptions.  Drayden Burton caught one pass for 21 yards and a touchdown.  Ryan Stucky caught a 13 yard touchdown pass.  Dillon Wheatley led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles.  Paxton Charles added three solo and three assisted tackles.

Lafayette rallied from a 16-6 deficit late in the second quarter to defeat Scott County by a score of 36-30.  Lafayette recorded 20 first downs and 494 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized seven times for 74 yards and lost two fumbles.  Scott County recorded 25 first downs and 341 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized twice for 15 yards. 

Mason Alstatt led Lafayette’s ground attack with 156 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.  Walker Wood carried the ball 20 times for 127 yards and two touchdowns.  Walker Wood completed 14 of 21 passes for 223 yards and a touchdown.  Quinten Brown caught five passes for 57 yards.  Dekwan Edwards added two receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown.  Daquis Sharp caught one pass for 60 yards.  Cameron Morgan led the defense with nine solo tackles with six of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 30 yards.  Ean Shaw added five solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.  Branden Layne recorded four solo and four assisted tackles.

Noah Hughes led Scott County’s ground game with 177 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries.  Keith Guy carried the ball 13 times for 93 yards.  Dylan Smith added 54 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  Josh Davis completed three of four passes for 33 yards.  Glenn Covington caught two passes for 17 yards.  Dylan Smith caught one pass for 16 yards.  Tyler Braxton led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Eric Abney added five solo and one assisted tackles.  Keeshon Brent recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Bryce Fryman and Jeremiah Happy each recovered a fumble.

Lexington Catholic rallied to earn a 14-13 come-from-behind victory over Central.  It was a tale of two halves as Lexington Catholic lost three fumbles and had a pass intercepted in the first half and trailed 13-0 at halftime.  The Knights rallied in the second half and took the lead on an Andy Thompson three yard run and a conversion kick by Donovan Morris with 9:57 left in the game.  Central had a late chance to pull off the victory but Sebastian Francisco’s 23 yard field goal attempt with seven seconds left on the clock was blocked by Eric Sottile.  Central missed field goal attempts of 35 and 32 yards, had the 23 yard attempt blocked and had an extra point attempt blocked.

Lexington Catholic recorded 15 first downs and 261 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized twice for 15 yards, lost three fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.  Central recorded 16 first downs and 336 yards of total offense.  The Yellow Jackets were penalized nine times for 58 yards.

Andy Thompson led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 110 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.  Jaylen Jones carried the ball 18 times for 74 yards.  Andy Thompson completed 10 of 16 passes for 90 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  JJ Ogbogu caught five passes for 37 yards.  Jaylen Jones added three receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown.  Davis Rowady led the defense with eight solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  A. Lauterbach added six solo and three assisted tackles with one of his losses resulting in a five yard loss.  Zach Middleton chipped in with five solo tackles.  Eli Mitchell, Austin Pedroche, and Dylan Coulter each recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with two of Coulter’s tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.

Stephen Jones led Central’s ground game with 83 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Myron Norfleet carried the ball 11 times for 23 yards and a touchdown.  Myron Norfleet completed 15 of 30 passes for 204 yards.  Zackary White caught seven passes for 66 yards.  Stephen Jones added three receptions for 85 yards.  Corey Johnson returned one kickoff for 63 yards.  Aaron Duncan led the defense with nine solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.  Aric Hamblin and Jonathan Dooley recorded six and five solo tackles respectively.  Luke Bowman chipped in with three solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Jaquan Brown added four solo tackles and recovered a fumble he returned 43 yards.  Elijah Owens and Kenneth Reedel each recovered a fumble and Quincy Baines intercepted a pass he returned 14 yards.

It took two overtimes and a school passing record by Bennie Coney (417 yards) for Eastern Kentucky to notch a 41-34 come-from-behind victory over Murray State.  Eastern Kentucky took a 20-7 halftime lead but Murray State roared back to take a 27-20 lead with 2:01 left in the game.  Bennie Coney led a late drive and Dy’Shawn Mobley scored on a one yard run and Lucas Williams added the conversion kick to tie the game at 27-27 with 44 seconds left in regulation.  Murray State got the ball first in overtime and scored and Eastern Kentucky answered with a touchdown to make the score 27-27 and force a second overtime.  Eastern Kentucky took the ball first in overtime and took a 41-34 lead on a one yard run by Kentayvus Hopkins and a conversion kick by Lucas Williams.  Kobie Grace ended the game with an interception of a tight end pass.

Eastern Kentucky recorded 35 first downs and 570 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized three times for 27 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Murray State recorded 23 first downs and 426 yards of total offense.  The Racers were penalized five times for 78 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Bennie Coney led Eastern Kentucky’s ground game with 59 yards on 18 carries.  Dy’Shawn Mobley carried the ball 13 times for 34 yards and a touchdown.  Bennie Coney completed 44 of 68 passes for 417 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Jeff Glover caught eight passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.  Arien Beasley added seven receptions for 30 yards.  Dy’Shawn Mobley recorded six catches for 69 yards and a touchdown.  Ben Madon also caught six passes for 34 yards and a touchdown.  Joel Brown added five receptions for 54 yards.  Devin Borders caught four passes for 77 yards.  Tre’ Moore led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles.  Kobie Grace added three solo and six assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Trey Thomas chipped in with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Noah Spence recorded three solo and four assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.

Lexington Christian Academy defeated Shelby Valley by a score of 28-20.  LCA recorded 17 first downs and 350 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized four times for 25 yards and lost a fumble.  Shelby Valley recorded 15 first downs and 289 yards of total offense.  They were penalized three times for 15 yards and lost two fumbles.

Dillon Wheatley led LCA’s ground game with 205 yards and three touchdowns on 41 carries.  Brayden Miller completed 12 of 19 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown.  Ryan Stucky caught six passes for 96 yards.  Caelan Lebryk added three receptions for 21 yards.  Kyle Paske chipped in with two passes for 11 yards and a touchdown.  Clay Elliot led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles.  Brett Wilkins added two solo and six assisted tackles.  Wade Drake recorded 10 assisted tackles.

Chandler Rowe led Shelby Valley’s ground game with 83 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.  Jordan Hampton carried the ball eight times for 66 yards.  Donavon Layne completed six of 13 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown.  Austin Elswick caught four passes for 109 yards and a touchdown.  Luke Adkinson led the defense with six solo and 11 assisted tackles.  Austin Elswick added seven solo and three assisted tackles.

Mason Alstatt scored on a 58 yard run and M. Guilfoil caught a pass from Walker Wood for the two point conversion with 4:42 left in the game to give Lafayette a 35-28 come-from-behind victory over Henry Clay.  Henry Clay had a late opportunity but fumbled deep in Lafayette’s territory to end the threat.  Lafayette recorded 19 first downs and 478 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 10 times for 100 yards and lost two fumbles.  Henry Clay recorded 21 first downs and 343 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 52 yards and lost three fumbles.

Mason Alstatt led Lafayette’s ground game with 203 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries.  Walker Wood carried the ball 18 times for 113 yards.  Walker Wood completed eight of 13 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns.  Quinten Brown caught three passes for 47 yards.  M. Guilfoil added three receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown.  Mason Alstatt added a 66 yard reception and Dekwan Edwards caught a 19 yard touchdown pass.  Cameron Morgan led the defense with eight solo and five assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards and recovered two fumbles.  Ean Shaw added seven solo and five assisted tackles.  Javarus Blair recorded seven solo and two assisted tackles.

Joquise Buford led Henry Clay’s ground game with 211 yards and three touchdowns on 38 carries.  Austin Bledsoe carried the ball 10 times for 41 yards and Davonte Robinson added 37 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  CJ Tackett completed two of four passes for 20 yards.  Marcus Tyler completed both his passes for 24 yards.  Austin Bledsoe caught four passes for 44 yards.  Ramond Jackson led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles.  Will Oreston added four solo and seven assisted tackles.  Johnson-Sanders recorded six solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards.

Scott County defeated Bryan Station by a score of 42-30 tonight.  Scott County recorded 21 first downs and 433 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized 12 times for 98 yards and had one pass intercepted.  Bryan Station recorded 18 first downs and 406 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized three times for 27 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Noah Hughes led Scott County’s ground game with 245 yards and four touchdowns on 37 carries.  Kendrick Hamilton carried the ball seven times for 50 yards and a touchdown.  Josh Davis recorded 33 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Josh Davis completed two of five passes for 75 yards with one interception.  Jordan Darnell and Glenn Covington each caught one pass for 46 and 29 yards respectively.  Keith Guy returned two kickoffs for 61 yards.  Trey Binder led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Kendrick Hamilton added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Brice Fryman recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 26 yards.

Devon Key led Bryan Station’s ground game with 47 yards on 12 carries.  Andre Davis carried the ball 12 times for 46 yards and a touchdown.  Chris Jones added 42 yards on three carries.  Andre Davis completed 10 of 21 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Jalen Burbage completed his only pass for 20 yards and a touchdown.   Rafael Few caught four passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns.  Desmond Bernard added four receptions for 97 yards and two touchdowns.  Shane Preston led the defense with eight solo and six assisted tackles.  Devon Key added seven solo and eight assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Romel Croley recorded three solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 40 yards.

Andy Thompson threw for six touchdowns tonight as Lexington Catholic defeated Garrard County by a score of 59-26.  Lexington Catholic recorded 20 first downs and 508 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized six times for 62 yards.  Garrard County recorded 19 first downs and 302 yards of total offense.  The Golden Lions were penalized four times for 50 yards. 

Jaylen Jones led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 79 yards on 13 carries.  Andy Thompson carried the ball eight times for 53 yards.  Andy Thompson completed 10 of 11 passes for 317 yards and six touchdowns.  Donovan Morris caught four passes for 193 yards and three touchdowns.  JJ Ogbogu added four receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns.  Chris Thompson caught two passes for 34 yards and a touchdown.  Sid Sharp led the defense with 10 solo tackles.  Jack Fagot added six solo and one assisted tackles.  Eric Foster recorded four solo and three assisted tackles and Andy Hickey chipped in with four solo and two assisted tackles. 

Devan Logan led Garrard County’s ground game with 131 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.  Jacob Foley carried the ball 20 times for 100 yards.  Slade Crutchfield added 33 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries.  Slade Crutchfield completed one of three passes for seven yards.  Jacob Foley caught one pass for seven yards.  Crutchfield punted three times for a 49 yard average with a long kick of 58 yards.  Clay Shuey led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Jacob Foley added five solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.  D. Morrison recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.
