Since my preseason positioner report back in late August on Kentucky hoops, a few things have taken place. First, two of the state's top players have transferred out-of-state. 6-5 senior Eli Wright left Owensboro Apollo for Bradenton IMG Academy (FL) while 6-6 junior Trace Young departed Owensboro Apollo for Huntington Prep (WV). Additional senior commitments of note include (players listed alphabetically).

  • Mason Faulkner 6-3/2G Horse Cave Caverna (Northern Kentucky)
  • Ben Weyer 6-6/C-F Newport Central Catholic (Bellarmine)

  • Matt Wilson 6-8/C-F Alexandria Campbell Co. (Army)

Finally two transfers inside the Bluegrass State. 6-5 junior Jaylen Sebree left Hopkinsville University Heights for Hopkinsville Christian Co. while 6-0 senior Tyrek White can be found at Madisonville North Hopkins after leaving Madisonsville Hopkins Co. Central.
