Montgomery County coach Matt Daniel started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Samuel Hodgson, 6-3 Jr. Cody Parsley, 6-7 Jr. Shelby Combs, 5-10 Jr. Carswell Fuller, and 6-2 Jr. Art Walker.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Sr. Colby Barnes, 6-1 Jr. Isaiah Tisdale, 6-5 Jr. Jordan Houston, 5-9 Sr. Dakhari Wilson, and 6-0 Sr. Felix Wilson.

Henry Clay raced out to a 20-6 lead in the second quarter but had to survive a Montgomery County rally to earn a 56-50 overtime victory.  Henry Clay shot 40% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Montgomery County turnovers.  Montgomery County shot 34.7% from the field including seven of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.

Isaiah Tisdale led Henry Clay with 15 points.  Dakhari Campbell added 11 points including three three point baskets.  6-2 Jr. Leander Ridgeway recorded nine points and eight rebounds.  Felix Wilson chipped in with nine points and six assists.  Colby Barnes and Jordan Houston pulled down nine and seven points respectively.

Art Walker led Montgomery County with 17 points including five three point baskets.  Cody Parsley added 13 points and five rebounds.  Shelby Combs pulled down nine rebounds and Carswell Fuller dished out eight assists.

Scott County defeated Montgomery County by a score of 78-36.  Scott County shot 46.5% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 25 Montgomery County turnovers.  Montgomery County shot 27% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on 15 of 28 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored five points off eight Scott County turnovers.

Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 13 points.  Lauren Boehm added 10 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Juliette Smith scored 10 points and five assists.  Maaliya Owens added nine points on three three point baskets.  6-1 Fr. Makayla Smith recorded seven points, six rebounds, and three steals.

George Rogers Clark defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 79-65.  The score was tied three times and there were six lead changes in the game.  GRC shot 62.2% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 16 of 22 from the free throw line, pulled down 16 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 15 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 55.9% from the field including six of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 21 of 29 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 11 points off seven GRC turnovers.

Damion King led GRC with 28 points including three three point baskets and four assists.  Jerryd Jones added 13 points and five rebounds.  Jones was six of six from the field and one of one from the free throw line.  Malachi Israel chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets.  Jyles Anderson added 11 points.

6-0 Sr. Maci Morris showed why she is a leading contender for Miss Basketball as she led Bell County with 46 points including four three point baskets, 18 of 19 free throws, and pulled down 12 rebounds.  5-4 Sr. Jessica Sanders added 14 points including nine of 11 free throws.  5-10 Jr. Katrina Johnson chipped in with nine points.
