Montgomery County coach Janie Robinson started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Alyssa Terrell, 5-8 Sr. Aiyma Jones, 6-0 Sr. Katelin Pence, 5-6 Fr. Delaney Bromagen, and 5-7 Jr. Sarah Arnett. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-10 So. Lauren Boehm, 5-7 8th Grade Maaliya Owens, 5-10 Fr. Sidney Southerland, 5-3 8th Grade Juliette Smith, and 5-8 Fr. Peyton Riddle.
Scott County defeated Montgomery County by a score of 78-36. Scott County shot 46.5% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 25 Montgomery County turnovers. Montgomery County shot 27% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on 15 of 28 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored five points off eight Scott County turnovers.
Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 13 points. Lauren Boehm added 10 points, six rebounds, and three steals. Juliette Smith scored 10 points and five assists. Maaliya Owens added nine points on three three point baskets. 6-1 Fr. Makayla Smith recorded seven points, six rebounds, and three steals.
Alyssa Terrell led Montgomery County with 10 points. Delaney Bromagen added nine points and four rebounds. Katelin Pence recorded eight points and five rebounds. Sarah Arnett chipped in with six points.
