Owensboro Catholic coach Michael Robertson started the following lineup: 5-6 Jr. Emily Marshall, 5-6 Sr. Alexa Wilson, 5-9 Jr. Caroline Hayden, 5-5 So. Lexi Payne, and 5-7 Jr. Mikayla Berry.  (Note:  Two of Owensboro Catholic’s top scorers 5-10 Sr. Destiny Howard and 5-9 Jr. Annabel Moore were not available tonight).  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-8 Sr. Rachel Blake, 5-7 Jr. Caroline Osbourn, 5-9 Sr. Caroline Lynch, 5-5 Sr. Bailey Browning, and 5-9 Jr. Sarah Bonn.

Lexington Catholic led 26-24 at halftime but pulled away in the second half to defeat Owensboro Catholic by a score of 64-44.  Lexington Catholic shot 50% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 15 of 17 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored six points off five Owensboro Catholic turnovers.  Owensboro Catholic shot 29.3% from the field including five of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Aces connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Caroline Lynch was named Tournament MVP and led Lexington Catholic with 26 points including 10 of 10 free throws and six rebounds.  Bailey Browning added 17 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists.  Rachel Blake recorded five points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Mikayla Berry led Owensboro Catholic with 14 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Lexi Payne added 10 points and seven rebounds.

Lexington Catholic defeated Bullitt Central by a score of 62-41.  Lexington Catholic shot 39.6% from the field including nine of 24 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 15 of 27 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 17 Bullitt Central turnovers.  Bullitt Central shot 29.2% from the field including seven of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cougars connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored for points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

5-3 8th Grader Jay Ballard led Lexington catholic with 14 points including four three point baskets.  Caroline Osbourn and Rachel Blake added 12 and 11 points respectively.  Caroline Lynch pulled down 13 rebounds and blocked two shots.  Bailey Browning recorded eight points, three rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  5-6 Sr. Tori Pippen chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.

Annabelle Leonard led Bullitt Central with 11 points and four rebounds.  Bethany Peercy added 10 points including three three point baskets.  Alexis Graham recorded six points and six assists.

Conner took advantage of a dismal (2 of 22) shooting performance from long range to take a 43-33 decision over Lexington Catholic.  Conner shot 32.7% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Cougars connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 24.5% from the field including two of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 Conner turnovers.

Taylor Gambrel led Conner with 12 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  5-10 So. Brianna Roberts added seven points and four rebounds.  Kierra Dages recorded six points and eight rebounds.  5-8 So. Calee Duncan pulled down 10 rebounds.

Caroline Lynch led Lexington catholic with 15 points and 14 rebounds.  Rachel Blake added six points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Rachel Blake led Lexington Catholic with 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Sarah Bonn added 12 points and five rebounds.  Caroline Lynch chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.  Caroline Osbourn recorded six points and eight rebounds.

Emily Schultz led Bishop Brossart with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals.  Abby King added nine points on three three point baskets.

Timmy Dalton, 6-2 Jr. Robert Dalton, 6-3 Jr. Grant Kiser, 5-11 Jr. Austin Chaffin, and 6-2 Jr. Brandon Richardson.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-2 Sr. Lucky Jackson, 6-1 Jr. William Watkins, 6-6 Jr. Ross Jenkins, 5-9 Jr. Jaelin Jenkins, and 6-0 Jr. Harrison Lane.

Lafayette defeated Lawrence County by a score of 97-79.  Lafayette shot 52.1% from the field including eight of 22 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 18 Lawrence County turnovers.  Lawrence County shot 45.6% from the field including five of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 22 of 29 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.

Harrison Lane led Lafayette with 22 points including four three point baskets.  Ross Jenkins added 16 points and 13 rebounds.  Lucky Jackson recorded 15 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.  6-2 So. Cameron Greenup chipped in with 14 points.  5-10 Jr. TJ Downey also reached double figures with 10 points and three steals.

Brandon Richardson led Lawrence County with 22 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Timmy Dalton added 18 points, nine rebounds, and three steals.  Grant Kiser and Robert Dalton chipped in with 13 and 11 points respectively.  Austin Chaffin added nine points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Manual raced out to a 22-12 first quarter lead on their way to a 77-63 victory over Scott County.  Manual shot 53.4% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.  The Crimsons connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 42.3% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on 17 of 32 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 24 Manual turnovers.

Dwayne Sutton led Manual with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Jarrett Harness and Ja’Kory Freeman added nine points each.

Lafayette led 45-30 in the third quarter but Manual rallied to earn a 58-56 victory.  There were three ties and three lead changes in the game.  Manual outscored Lafayette 14-6 in the final quarter.  Manual shot 36.2% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line.  The Crimsons connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 28 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 46.5% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 20 Manual turnovers.

Dwayne Sutton led Manual with 18 points, 11 rebounds, two blocked shots, and five steals.  Chris West added 13 points and three steals.  6-0 Jr. Steve Gordon chipped in with 11 points.

Ross Jenkins led Lafayette with 16 points and six rebounds.  William Watkins added 10 points.  5-10 So. Jajuante Carpenter chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.  Lucky Jackson recorded six points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Jr. Siah Holifield, 6-4 Sr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Jr. Camron Seater, and 6-0 Sr. David McCorvey.  Clay County coach Robert Marcum countered with 6-2 Jr. Blake Smith, 6-2 So. Will Sexton, 6-2 Jr. Wes Wolfe, 6-0 Sr. Ryan House, and 6-2 Sr. Travis Mills.

West Jessamine defeated Clay County by a score of 74-67.  There were 10 lead changes and three ties in this game.  West Jessamine shot 50.9% from the field including eight of 18 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored five points off four Clay County turnovers.  Clay County shot 47.5% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 West Jessamine turnovers.

Siah Holifield was named tournament MVP and led West Jessamine with 24 points including four three point baskets, 12 rebounds, and five assists.  David McCorvey added 14 points and 10 rebounds.  Brooks Ely recorded 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  6-0 So. Isaiah Okesson chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets.

Wes Wolfe led Clay County with 21 points.  Blake Smith added 19 points.  Ryan House recorded 14 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Will Sexton chipped in with 11 points, six rebounds, and three steals.

Jerryd Jones, 5-9 Sr. Malachi Israel, and 5-9 Jr. Jyles Anderson.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Sr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Jr. Siah Holifield, 6-4 Sr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Jr. Camron Seater, and 6-0 Sr. David McCorvey.

David McCorvey connected on one of two free throws with 17 seconds left in the game to give West Jessamine a 44-43 victory over George Rogers Clark.  6-1 So. Jordan Davis’ last second shot fell short for a chance for a GRC win.  West Jessamine shot 40.4% from the field including one of seven from the three point line.  The Colts connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine GRC turnovers.  GRC shot 36.7% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 West Jessamine turnovers.

Brooks Ely led West Jessamine with 23 points and 12 rebounds.  David McCorvey added 11 points.  Dalton Crouse pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out seven assists.

Damion King led GRC with 21 points and three steals.  Jyles Anderson added six points and four rebounds.
