Bryan Station raced out to a 43-7 halftime lead and coasted to a 50-22 victory over Tates Creek.  Bryan Station QB Andre Davis threw for 235 yards and four touchdowns in the first half and set out the second half.  Bryan Station recorded 20 first downs and 472 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized seven times for 82 yards and lost a fumble.  Tates Creek recorded 12 first downs and 216 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized once for five yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

D’Andre Mack led the Bryan Station ground attack with 107 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Andre Davis carried the ball four times for 40 yards.  Andre Davis completed 13 of 22 passes for 235 yards and four touchdowns.  Dallas Bruton completed five of eight passes for 67 yards and a touchdown.  CJ Walker caught five passes for 100 yards.  D’Andre Mack added four receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown.  Marcus Floyd caught three passes for 71 yards and a touchdown.  K-CI Carmichael caught three passes for 47 yards and two touchdowns.  TeQuan Claitt added two receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown.  Greg Gerton led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.  Chris Jackson added two solo and three assisted tackles.  Angel Gonzalez recovered a fumble that he returned 40 yards for a touchdown.

Sakima Opsal led Tates Creek’s ground game with 98 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Martavius Carter carried the ball six times for 40 yards.  Peyton Burke completed seven of 13 passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Jackson Beerman caught three passes for 37 yards.  Drew Ransdell caught two passes for 39 yards and a touchdown.  Graham Gordon led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Jordan Gartin and Austin Rogers each recorded four solo and one assisted tackles.

Lexington Catholic defeated Mercer County 57-28.  Lexington Catholic recorded 23 first downs and 608 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 12 times for 113 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Mercer County recorded 13 first downs and 268 yards of total offense.  The Titans were penalized nine times for 71 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Jaylen Jones led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 167 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.  Reese Ryan carried the ball four times for 39 yards and a touchdown.  Reese Ryan completed 33 of 42 passes for 339 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Andy Thompson completed his only pass for a 55 yard touchdown.  JJ Ogbogu caught nine passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns.  Andy Thompson added nine receptions for 126 yards.  Connor O’Neil caught four passes for 43 yards and a touchdown.  Chase Boling led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles.  Andy Hickey added five solo tackles and intercepted a pass.

Dustin Baker led Mercer County’s ground game with 46 yards on 13 carries.  Dustin Baker completed eight of 23 passes for 112 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.  Drew Davis completed four of five passes for 69 yards and a touchdown.  T. Faulkner caught five passes for 50 yards and two touchdowns.  Lane Peavler added four receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown.  Grayson Blevins caught a 23 yard touchdown pass.  Donald Smith led the defense with nine solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Grant Willmott added seven solo and two assisted tackles.  Dustin Baker chipped in with seven solo tackles.

Henry Clay utilized their potent ground attack (440 yards and seven touchdowns on 54 carries) to defeat Lafayette by a score of 48-39.  Henry Clay recorded 23 first downs and 486 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized five times for 50 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Lafayette recorded 23 first downs and 411 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized once for five yards and had a pass intercepted. 

Joquise Buford carried the ball 22 times for 261 yards and five touchdowns.  Davonte Robinson carried the ball 12 times for 80 yards and a touchdown.  Rhoman James recorded 71 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.  Rhoman James completed two of four passes for 68 yards with one interception.  Colby Barnes and Joquise Buford each caught a pass for 34 yards.  Joe Green led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.  Clark Dupree added four solo and five assisted tackles.  Johnson-Sanders chipped in with three solo and seven assisted tackles.

Walker Wood led Lafayette’s ground game with 136 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.  Malik Robinson carried the ball 24 times for 114 yards and two touchdowns.  Walker Wood completed eight of 18 passes for 138 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Lucky Jackson caught four passes for 115 yards and a touchdown.  Mason Alstatt scored on a 76 yard kickoff return.  Ion Ingram and Devon Quincy led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles each.  Mason Alstatt recorded three solo and eight assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

LOUISVILLE'S GIRLS FALL SHOWCASE (September 27, 2014)

This one day event will take place at Bullitt Central High School in Shepherdsville, KY, 15 miles south of Louisville, between 9 AM and 6 PM (ET).  Each player will perform in 3 games as well as participate in stations, team practice and contests.   There will be pre and post showcase internet coverage at our web site which is www.basketball-camp.net, Facebook and Twitter and at Ron Harrison's site, www.kyprephoops.com

METRO LOUISVILLE GIRLS' SHOWCASE (September 27, 2014)

This one day event will take place at Bullitt Central High School in Shepherdsville, KY, just 15 minutes south of Louisville, between 9 AM and 6 PM (ET).  Each player will perform in 3 games as well as participate in stations, team practice, contests and hear guest speakers.  Over 400 college coaches will be invited and we will cover this event at our web page and blog.  There will be pre and post showcase internet coverage at our web page at www.basketball-camp.net, Facebook, Twitter, and at Ron Harrison's www.kyprephoops.com which has 4,000,000+ hits. Cost is only $95.00.

Eastern Kentucky led 28-24 at halftime and outscored UT Martin 21-0 in the second half to earn a 49-24 victory and improve to 4-0 for the season.  Eastern Kentucky recorded 19 first downs and 533 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized six times for 65 yards and had one pass intercepted.  UT Martin recorded 25 first downs and 484 yards of total offense.  They were penalized eight times for 53 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.

Dy’Shawn Mobley led Eastern Kentucky’s ground game with 183 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.  Jared McClain carried the ball eight times for 44 yards and a touchdown.  Bennie Coney completed 10 of 17 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Jeff Glover completed his only pass for a 29 yard touchdown strike.  Jeff Glover caught seven passes for 128 yards.  Devin Borders had three receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown.  Channing Fugate caught two passes for 11 yards and a touchdown.  Deno Montgomery caught a 29 yard touchdown pass.  Tyrelle Johnson led the defense with two solo and eight assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Brandon Stanley added three solo and four assisted tackles.

Abou Toure led UT Martin’s ground game with 87 yards on 12 carries.  Jarod Neal completed 15 of 24 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Dylan Favre completed 10 of 15 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Rod Wright caught four passes for 60 yards.  William Tanner added four receptions for 34 yards.  Corey Jordan caught three passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.  James Ratliff caught a five yard touchdown pass.  Devon Barnett led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles.  Walter Evans added two solo and five assisted tackles and Aaron Simms recorded four solo and two assisted tackles.

Dy’Shawn Mobley ran 61 yards for a score on the first play from scrimmage and the rout was on as Eastern Kentucky University raced out to a 46-0 halftime lead on their way to a 55-13 victory over Morehead State.  Eastern Kentucky recorded 18 first downs and 525 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized six times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Morehead State recorded 19 first downs and 332 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized five times for 35 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Dy’Shawn Mobley led Eastern Kentucky’s ground game with 123 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Jared Sanders carried the ball eight times for 61 yards and a touchdown.  Channing Fugate recorded 56 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  JJ Jude carried the ball 10 times for 30 yards.  Bennie Coney completed seven of 10 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns.  Barton Mann completed five of eight passes for 46 yards with one interception.  Jared McClain completed one of three passes for nine yards and one touchdown.  Jaucady Rutledge caught three passes for 22 yards.  Jeff Glover added two receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown.  Devin Borders caught two passes for 22 yards and a touchdown.  Joel Brown caught a nine yard touchdown pass.  Chris Owens led the defense with two solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.  Tyrell Curry added four solo and one assisted tackles.  Jeffrey Canady recorded two solo and three assisted tackles.

Rees MacShara led the Morehead State ground game with 25 yards on nine carries.  Lawrence Jones carried the ball seven times for 19 yards.  Rob Harden recorded 17 yards on six carries.  Austin Gahafer completed 29 of 49 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Jake Raymond caught seven passes for 34 yards.  Tanner Napier added five receptions for 39 yards.  Justin Cornwall caught three passes for 29 yards.  Cyrus Strahm caught two passes for 32 yards.  Christian Robinson caught a 22 yard touchdown pass.  Brandon Louder led the defense with three solo and nine assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Luke Keller added three solo and five assisted tackles.  CJ Wall recorded one solo and six assisted tackles.

Eastern Kentucky went deep in their bag of tricks to score a 17-10 upset victory over Miami University.  Both teams were having trouble moving the ball in the final quarter when Jeff Glover took the second handoff on a reverse and found Deno Montgomery open down the field for a 43 yard touchdown reception to give the Colonels a 16-10 lead with 4:43 left on the clock.  Andrew Lloyd nailed the conversion kick to make the score 17-10.  Stanley Absanon ensured the victor with an interception he returned nine yards to the 50 with a little over a minute left on the clock.  Eastern Kentucky ran out the clock to earn a big victory.  This was the second big play by Absanon who had tied the game in the third quarter at 10-10 on a 55 yard return for an interception.

Eastern Kentucky recorded 12 first downs and 280 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized eight times for 94 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Eastern Kentucky’s kicking game was solid as Andrew Lloyd kicked a field goal and two extra points and kicked off four times for four touchbacks.  Keith Wrzuszczak punted nine times for a 39.3 average with return yardage of -12 yards.  Miami recorded 25 first downs and 419 yards of total offense.  They were penalized nine times for 61 yards, lost three fumbles, and had three passes intercepted.

Dy’Shawn Mobley carried the ball 13 times for 27 yards.  Jared McClain carried the ball six times for 26 yards.  Bennie Coney completed eight of 16 passes for 64 yards.  Jared McClain completed five of 11 passes for 91 yards with one interception.  Jeff Glover completed his only pass for 43 yards and a touchdown.  Dy’Shawn Mobley caught three passes for 13 yards.  Devin Borders added two receptions for 27 yards.  Scott Daniel and Jeff Glover each caught two passes for 19 and 18 yards respectively.  Deno Montgomery caught one pass for 43 yards and a touchdown.  Channing Fugate also caught a pass for 43 yards.  Brandon Stanley led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles with one interception he returned for 14 yards.  Johnny Joseph added five solo and two assisted tackles.  Stanley Absanon recorded six solo tackles and intercepted two passes, one he returned 55 yards for a touchdown.  Trey Thomas added five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.  Marquise Piton, Chris Owens, and Jeffrey Canady each recovered a fumble.

Spenc McInnis led Miami’s ground game with 51 yards on 10 carries.  Dawan Scott carried the ball nine times for 38 yards.  Andrew Hendrix completed 25 of 52 passes for 359 yards and a touchdown with three interceptions.  David Frazier caught seven passes for 106 yards.  R. Williams caught six passes for 105 yards.  Jared Murphy caught four passes for 67 yards and a touchdown.  Kent Kern led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles.  Joe Donlan added six solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Heath Harding recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.

Eastern Kentucky rolled up an impressive 407 yards on the ground on 67 carries for 6.1 yards per carry in a 29-10 victory over Robert Morris.  Eastern Kentucky recorded 35 first downs and 624 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized 11 times for 90 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.  EKU ran 97 offensive plays compared to 75 for Robert Morris.  Robert Morris recorded 13 first downs and 250 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 44 yards.
