Lexington Christian Academy defeated Green County by a score of 55-16.  Lexington Christian Academy recorded 16 first downs and 486 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized six times for 55 yards.  Green County recorded eight first downs and 180 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 35 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Dillon Wheatley led Lexington Christian Academy’s ground attack with 160 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.  Nick Whitman carried the ball 15 times for 103 yards and three touchdowns.  Dima Ballard added 99 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Dima Ballard completed seven of 11 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown.  John Davis caught three passes for 20 yards.  Sam Arnold caught one pass for 35 yards.  Nick Whitman caught a 26 yard touchdown pass.  Clay Ach led the defense with five solo tackles.  Nick Whitman added four solo and one assisted tackles.  Daniel White recorded three solo and one assisted tackles.

Daniel Jeffries led Green County’s ground game with 107 yards on 15 carries.  Austin Matney completed seven of 19 passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Tyler Atwood caught two passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.  Noah Slinker caught an eight yard touchdown pass.  Tyler Atwood led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles.  Michael Bridgewater, Andrew Hedgespeth, and Philip Pauley each recorded three solo tackles.

An injury depleted Tates Creek squad rallied from  an 18-12 deficit after three quarters to defeat Perry County Central by a score of 22-18.  Tates Creek recorded six first downs and 198 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized eight times for 80 yards.  Perry County Central recorded 18 first downs and 277 yards of total offense.  They were penalized 11 times for 107 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Jerrod Martin led Tates Creek’s ground game with 27 yards on nine carries.  Graham Gordon completed six of 12 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns.  Austin Rogers caught five passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns.  Jared Wilkins recorded five touchbacks on five kickoffs.  Sakima Opsal led the defense with nine solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Opsal also scored on a 26 yard interception return.  Jacob Czarnecki added four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  James Scearce also recorded four solo and two assisted tackles.  Austin Rogers added one solo and three assisted tackles, returned a recovered fumble for eight yards, and returned an interception 51 yards.

Corey Smith led Perry County Central’s ground game with 50 yards on 11 carries.  Nathan Pray completed 13 of 26 passes for 232 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Jacob Woolum caught four passes for 91 yards.  Seth Napier added four receptions for 79 yards.  Tyler Lawson caught three passes for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Seth Napier led the defense with four solo tackles.  B. Campbell added three solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 15 yards.  Damon Tobler and Andrew Colwell each recorded two solo and three assisted tackles.

Lafayette rallied from an 11-0 deficit in the first half and a 24-20 deficit late in the game to defeat Lexington Catholic 34-24.  Lafayette QB Walker Wood threw a screen pass to Lucky Jackson who ran 55 yards to the LexCath 5 yard line to set up a three yard run by Wood to give Lafayette a 27-24 lead with 1:47 left in the game.  Evan Shaw ensured the victory as he intercepted a Reese Ryan pass and raced 50 yards to give Lafayette a 34-24 lead with 54 seconds left in the game.  Lafayette recorded 22 first downs and 430 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 12 times for 103 yards and had one pass intercepted.  Lexington Catholic recorded 22 first downs and 395 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized nine times for 90 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Walker Wood led Lafayette’s ground game with 135 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries.  Malik Robinson carried the ball 13 times for 51 yards.  Walker Wood completed 11 of 22 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Lucky Jackson caught five passes for 70 yards and a touchdown.  Quinten Brown added three receptions for 91 yards.  Devon Quincy led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss.  Evan Shaw recorded six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards and scored on a 50 yard interception return.  Kareem Smith also recorded six solo tackles.  Theo James added three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 15 yards.

Jaylen Jones led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 175 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.  Reese Ryan completed 21 of 32 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  JJ Ogbogu caught eight passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.  Jordan Hatton added five receptions for 25 yards.  Chase Boling led the defense with 10 solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Andy Hickey added seven solo tackles and intercepted a pass.  Joey Griggs recorded six solo and one assisted tackles.

Madison Southern defeated Madison Central tonight 42-11 before a standing room only crowd.  Andy Barr performed the coin toss, Kentucky coach Mark Stoops presented the game ball and many other dignitaries such as Joe B. Hall were in attendance to see the highly touted Madison Southern RB Damien Harris perform.  Harris did not disappoint as he carried the ball 17 times for 318 yards and four touchdowns.  Madison Southern recorded 13 first downs and 424 yards of total offense.  They were penalized nine times for 75 yards and had one interception.  Madison Central recorded 14 first downs and 218 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized seven times for 45 yards and lost a fumble.

Damien Harris carried the ball 17 times for 318 yards including TD runs of 30, 66, 8, and 26 yards.  Aaron Slone completed five of nine passes for 61 yards with one interception.  William JD Dean caught two passes for 41 yards.  Aaron Sipple led the defense with seven solo and nine assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 22 yards.  Carter Smith added seven solo and four assisted tackles with two of his losses resulting in losses totaling 14 yards.  Tristan Girod recorded seven solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards and recovered a fumble.

Korrion Crier led Madison Central’s ground game with 73 yards on 16 carries.  Zach Hardin completed eight of 16 passes for 113 yards and one touchdown.  Blake Gross caught four passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.  John Williams added three receptions for 30 yards.  Jeffrey Robinson led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles.  Korrion Crier added three solo and one assisted tackles.

Highlands’ Beau Hoge threw a 43 yard touchdown pass to Alex Veneman with 1:45 left in the game to give the Bluebirds a 47-41 come-from-behind victory over Bryan Station.  Highlands recorded 28 first downs and 570 yards of total offense.  The Bluebirds were penalized twice for 20 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Bryan Station recorded 20 first downs and 493 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized 10 times for 125 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Griffin Urlage led the Highlands’ ground game with 111 yards on 24 carries.  Beau Hoge carried the ball nine times for 108 yards and three touchdowns.  Josh Watson added 92 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.  Nick Kendall carried the ball seven times for 42 yards and a touchdown.  Beau Hoge completed 13 of 25 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Alex Veneman caught four passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns.  Mitchell Cain caught four passes for 68 yards.  Andrew Abner led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Brady Murray added four solo and three assisted tackles.

D’Andre Mack led Bryan Station’s ground game with 90 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.  Andre Davis carried the ball 16 times for 68 yards and a touchdown.  Andre Davis completed 24 of 48 passes for 324 yards and four touchdowns with one interception.  Marcus Floyd caught seven passes for 73 yards.  Tequan Claitt added five receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown.  CJ Walker added five receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown.  D’Andre Mack caught three passes for 73 yards and a touchdown.  Devon Key recorded two catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.  Devon Key led the defense with seven solo tackles and one interception.  Greg Gerton added six solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss.  KE-I Carmichael recorded five solo and three assisted tackles.  Shane Preston chipped in with five solo and two assisted tackles.

Oldham County’s Carson Axtell stunned the home fans as he returned a kickoff 90 yards to begin the game as Oldham County took a 7-0 lead with 11:46 left in the first quarter.  However Franklin County roared back for 49 unanswered points to earn a 49-7 victory.  Franklin County recorded 21 first downs and 409 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized nine times for 81 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Oldham County recorded six first downs and 67 yards of total offense.  They were penalized four times for 50 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Denzel Vance led Franklin County’s ground game with 53 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.  Landon Hurst carried the ball five times for 50 yards.  Barrett Sanderson completed 17 of 26 passes for 243 yards and four touchdowns with one interception.  Denzel Vance caught six passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns.  Jhanny Rodriguez added two receptions for 43 yards.  Cody Lofton caught two passes for 33 yards.  Landon Hurst added two receptions for 29 yards and two touchdowns.  DeMarcus Kennedy led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles.  Jessey Morrow added four solo and one assisted tackles.  Jhanny Rodriguez recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Makale Marks added a touchdown on a 66 yard interception return.

Jason Henry led Oldham County’s ground game with 24 yards on 20 carries.  Jacob Yahl carried the ball three times for 18 yards.  James Harding completed five of 18 passes for 29 yards with two interceptions.  Allan Farrow caught four passes for 22 yards.  Brian Barmantje led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles.  Carson Axtell added four solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned for 70 yards.

Scott County QB Clay McKee continues to flawlessly direct the Cardinals’ high octane offense as they raced out to a 41-0 halftime lead on their way to a 55-27 victory over Pleasure Ridge Park.  Scott County recorded 18 first downs and 527 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized four times for 25 yards and lost two fumbles.  Pleasure Ridge Park recorded 16 first downs and 319 yards of total offense.  They were penalized three times for 20 yards and lost a fumble.

Keith Guy led Scott County’s ground attack with 122 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.  Theo Price carried the ball five times for 72 yards.  Marvin Davis carried the ball four times for 56 yards and a touchdown.  Clay McKee completed six of eight passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns.  Keith Guy caught three passes for 90 yards and a touchdown.  Clark Griffith added two receptions for 61 yards and two touchdowns.  K. Hamilton led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards.  Jameer Womack added three solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.

Montae Robinson led Pleasure Ridge Park’s ground game with 78 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.  Kris Adams carried the ball 13 times for 73 yards and two touchdowns.  Daniel Parker carried the ball five times for 60 yards.  Dru Duckworth completed three of 12 passes  for 35 yards.  Malik Walker caught two passes for 31 yards.  Jordan Redman and Davon Campbell led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles each.  David Kennison added two solo and six assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Henry Clay dominated play tonight in a 49-0 victory over George Rogers Clark.  Henry Clay recorded 18 first downs and 431 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils carried the ball 23 times for 333 yards for an average of 14.5 yards per carry.  They were penalized four times for 35 yards and had two passes intercepted.  George Rogers Clark recorded nine first downs and 135 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 60 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Davonte Robinson led Henry Clay’s ground attack with 108 yards and two touchdowns on two carries.  Joquise Buford carried the ball four times for 101 yards and a touchdown.  Rhoman James carried the ball five times for 52 yards and three touchdowns.  Rhoman James completed six of seven passes for 60 yards with one interception.  Colby Barnes caught four passes for 41 yards.  Dennis Newby led the defense with four dolo and five assisted tackles.  Elijah Barnett added four solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  B. Gotchett intercepted a pass that he returned 55 yards.

Luke Sharrock led George Roger Clark’s ground game with 60 yards on 12 carries.  Sharrock completed four of 12 passes for 28 yards with two interceptions.  Malachi Israel caught two passes for seven yards.  Ohmante Jenkins caught one pass for 10 yards.  Elijah Farris led the defense with two solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Ohmante Jenkins, Will Somersall, Ronte Owens, Shawn Willhite, and Daniel Chandler each recorded two solo and two assisted tackles.

Dunbar’s ground game averaged 9.5 yards per carry on 42 carries (400 yards) in a 38-6 victory over Woodford County.  Dunbar recorded 15 first downs and 402 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized seven times for 51 yards.  Woodford County recorded 14 first downs and 214 yards of total offense.  The Yellow Jackets were penalized once for five yards and had a pass intercepted.

Jay Coleman led Dunbar’s ground game with 245 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries.  Nate Gay carried the ball 11 times for 71 yards and a touchdown.  Kendall Roberts completed one of two passes for two yards.  Maurice Carter caught one pass for two yards.  LaQuan Taylor led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles.  Dontell Brown added three solo and six assisted tackles.  LaDarrius Morton recorded three solo and five assisted tackles.  DeRante Sanders added one solo and nine assisted tackles.
