Ryle raced out to a 40-0 halftime lead in a 54-13 victory over Madison Central.  Ryle recorded 15 first downs and 352 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 30 yards and lost two fumbles.  Madison Central recorded 11 first downs and 158 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized five times for 35 yards, lost one fumble, and had one pass intercepted.

Travis Elliott led Ryle’s ground attack with 130 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries.  Deion Mullens carried the ball five times for 72 yards and a touchdown.  Conner Hempel completed five of 10 passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns.  Ryan Smith caught two passes for 43 yards and a touchdown.  Kohry Thibodeau added two receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown.  Jake Nutter led the defense with three solo and seven assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 10 yards.  Court Mace added two solo and seven assisted tackles with two of his losses resulting in losses totalling 10 yards.

Jamez Chenault led Madison Central’s ground game with 112 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries.  Nick Ford completed four of 10 passes for 38 yards with one interception.  Dre Goggins caught two passes for 21 yards.  Austin Coyle led the defense with two solo and four assisted tackles.  Matt Withers added five assisted tackles.

Simon Kenton scored an insurance touchdown on a 20 yard fumble recovery return in the fourth quarter to defeat Tates Creek 23-13.  Simon Kenton recorded 18 first downs and 292 yards of total offense.  The Pioneers were penalized six times for 40 yards and lost two fumbles.  Tates Creek recorded 15 first downs and 248 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized seven times for 59 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Chad Lawrence led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 81 yards on 17 carries.  Lawrence completed 17 of 22 passes for 167 yards and one touchdown.  Ryan Winkler caught eight passes for 87 yards and a touchdown.  Jake Schneider led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 14 yards.  Austin Baldwin added six solo and one assisted tackles with three of his losses totalling 20 yards.  Derek Mills recorded three solo tackles, seven assisted tackles, and returned a fumble recovery 20 yards for a touchdown.

Jontez Jones led Tates Creek’s ground game with 105 yards on 17 carries.  Brandon Shrout carried the ball seven times for 41 yards.  Martrell Berry completed 14 of 29 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Austin Crutcher caught five passes for 54 yards and two touchdowns.  Brandon Shrout added four receptions for 57 yards.  Jamal Wagner led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling two yards.  Jontez Jones added five solo and one assisted tackles.

Lafayette defeated North Hardin tonight by a score of 24-6.  Lafayette recorded nine first downs and 211 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 13 times for 111 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  North Hardin recorded 17 first downs and 253 yards of total offense.  They were penalized seven times for 132 yards and lost a fumble.  North hardin ran 69 plays on offense compared to 47 plays for Lafayette.

Bubba Johnson led Lafayette’s ground game with 114 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.  Matt Britt completed eight of 17 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Tanner Napier caught three passes for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Nick Jeter added three receptions for 38 yards.  Andy Hampton led the defense with 10 solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling five yards.  David kenner added six solo tackles.

Vincent Davis led North Hardin’s ground attack with 138 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Vincent Davis completed eight of 30 passes for 93 yards.  Trevino Conley caught four passes for 47 yards.  Antonio Simmons led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles.  Alik Rucker added two solo and three assisted tackles.  M. Brunson recorded one solo tackle, three assisted tackles, a fumble recovery, and a pass interception.

Lexington Catholic scored a late touchdown to ensure a 27-19 victory over Harrison County.  Lexington Catholic’s ground game (46 carries for 299 yards) led by Konnor Vasilko’s 157 yards on 23 carries was the key to victory tonight.  Both teams were plagued by mistakes tonight as they combined for 28 penalties for 228 yards.

Lexington Catholic recorded 18 first downs and 340 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 15 times for 145 yards and lost a fumble.  Harrison County recoeded 11 first downs and 208 yards of total offense.  The Thoroughbreds were penalized 13 times for 83 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Konnor Vasilko led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 157 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  Kyle Bolin added 69 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.  Amoh Kumengisa added 50 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Kyle Bolin completed five of 16 passes for 41 yards.  Nate Letton caught two passes for 22 yards.  Nate Letton led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling seven yards.  Letton also recovered a fumble.  Alex Nash and Will Childers each recorded four solo tackles.

Joe Karona led Harrison County’s ground game with 31 yards on 10 carries.  Joe Karona completed 16 of 32 passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.  Matt Carter caught six passes for 58 yards and a touchdown.  Elijah Gross added four receptions for 57 yards.  Shane Fowler caught three passes for 64 yards and two touchdowns.  Matt Carter led the defense with 10 solo and two assisted tackles.  Shane Fowler added seven solo and two assisted tackles.

Tates Creek scored 21 unanswered points in the second quarter on their way to a 28-13 victory over Woodford County.  Tates Creek recorded 18 first downs and 400 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized 16 times for 137 yards and lost four fumbles.  Woodford County recorded 15 first downs and 304 yards of total offense.  The Yellowjackets were penalized seven times for 61 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Jontez Jones led Tates Creek’s ground game with 149 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.  Brandon Shrout carried the ball 11 times for 60 yards and a touchdown.  Martrell Berry completed 11 of 19 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns.  Brandon Shrout caught four passes for 21 yards.  Austin Crutcher caught two passes for 60 yards and two touchdowns.  Jamal Wagner led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 17 yards.  Dennis Oxendine recorded four solo tackles, one assisted tackle, and one pass interception.

Taylor Stakelin led Woodford County’s ground game with 56 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Matt Couch completed16 of 29 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Dan McWilliams caught six passes for 124 yards and a touchdown.  Michael Rusher caught five passes for 33 yards.  Conrad Smart led the defense with three solo and six assisted tackles.  Chad Goodrich added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Jon Tuttle recovered two fumbles.

Collins’ QB Branden Cresap continued his aerial heroics this season with 412 yards and six touchdown passes in a 49-21 victory over Madison Central.  Collins recorded 17 first downs and 484 yards of total offense.  They were penalized four times for 25 yards and lost a fumble.  Madison Central recorded 14 first downs and 309 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized seven times for 55 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Logan Bailey led Collins’ ground game with 29 yards on 13 carries.  Branden Cresap completed 19 of 27 passes for 412 yards and six touchdowns.  Tavis Elzy caught eight passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns.  Ben Axline added seven receptions for 133 yards and three touchdowns.  Pierce Skinner led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles with 4.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 13 yards.  Jamar Stoner and Travis Kennon each recorded three solo and seven assisted tackles.

Jamez Chenault led Madison Central’s ground game with 96 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.  Darian Cox carried the ball 10 times for 94 yards and a touchdown.  Nick Ford completed two of eight passes for 28 yards with two interceptions.  Tyler Vonwechmar caught one pass for 19 yards.  George Walker led the defense with eight solo and two tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling nine yards.  Austin Coyle added two solo and five assisted tackles.

Henry Clay held a 501-125 advantage in total yardage in a 41-5 victory over Dunbar.  Henry Clay recorded 22 first downs and 502 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized six times for 45 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Dunbar recorded five first downs and 125 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized three times for 25 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Bo Brooks led Henry Clay’s ground attack with 181 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.  Vinny Miller carried the ball 10 times for 91 yards and a touchdown.  Vinny Miller completed eight of 14 passes for 83 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Jerry Williams caught four passes for 33 yards.  Carwell Gardner caught three passes for 42 yards and a touchdown.  Charles McCarty led the defense with four solo and 12 assisted tackles.  Ryan Smith added five solo tackles, three assisted tackles, and recovered a fumble.  Anthony Lindsey recorded 12 assisted tackles.

Tucker Lyles led Dunbar’s ground game with 37 yards on 14 carries.  Blake Martin completed one of six passes for 12 yards with two interceptions.  Dhrist. Allen completed one of three passes for 12 yards.  Jordan Wilkins caught two passes for 24 yards.  Brandyn Duncan led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Emory Thompson also recorded six solo and two assisted tackles.  Tucker Lyles added six solo tackles, one assisted tackle. and intercepted a pass with return yardage of 47 yards on the play.

Scott County’s defense came up big tonight as the Cardinals  returned three fumbles for touchdowns in a 36-21 victory over Fern Creek.  Scott County recorded 14 first downs and 213 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 53 yards and lost two fumbles.  Fern Creek recorded 19 first downs and 302 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 67 yards and lost three fumbles.

Josh Walls led Scott County’s ground game with 64 yards on five carries.  Ben Lawler completed five of seven passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns.  James Happy caught four passes for 64 yards and two touchdowns.  Blake Irvin led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles.  Avery Ford added five solo and two assisted tackles.  Jordan Kindred, Josh Walls, and Cody Campbell each scored a touchdown on returned fumble recoveries.  Jay Willmott punted once for 49 yards and kicked off six times with five touchbacks.

Jerrell Moore led Fern Creek’s ground game with 139 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.  Donovan Sims completed two of three passes for 25 yards.  Travon Spencer caught two passes for 25 yards.  Corey Boykin led the defense with four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 11 yards.  Khasi Jones and Ray Tobin each recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and Jones recovered a fumble.
