Scott County continues their resurgence with a 25-7 victory over Tates Creek.  Scott County recorded 20 first downs and 375 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized four times for 41 yards and lost a fumble.  Tates Creek recorded only nine first down and 191 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized five times for 35 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Marcus Hill led the Scott County ground attack with 121 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.  Ben Lawler completed eight of 13 passes for 152 yards.  James Happy caught six passes for 110 yards.  Josh Walls added two receptions for 42 yards.  Jordan Kindred led the defense with four solo tackles, four assisted tackles, and one interception.  2.5 of Kindred’s tackles resulted in losses totalling 16 yards.  Josh Walls added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Jay Willmott had five kickoffs resulting in five touchbacks.

Jontez Jones led Tates Creek’s ground game with 45 yards on 4 carries.  Brandon Shrout carried the ball 10 times for 35 yards and a touchdown.  Dee Christopher completed 10 of 15 passes for 100 yards.  Martrell Berry caught four passes for 60 yards. Jon. Meadors led the defense with six solo and seven assisted tackles.  William Hardin added six solo and three assisted tackles.

Henry Clay led 14-8 at halftime but exploded for 35 unanswered points in the second half in a 49-8 victory over Bryan Station.  Bryan Station did not have an answer for Henry Clay’s Vinny Miller as he shredded the Bran Station defense for 188 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

Henry Clay recorded 17 first downs and 370 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized six times for 42 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.  Bryan Station recorded 15 first downs and 235 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized five times for 27 yards, lost four fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Vinny Miller led the Henry Clay ground game with 188 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries.  Bo Brooks carried the ball 16 times for 80 yards and a touchdown.  Jerry Williams completed two of four passes for 22 yards with one interception.  Vinny Miller completed two of three passes for 36 yards with one interception.  Blake Green caught three passes for 55 yards.  James Hendron led the defense with eight solo and four assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 15 yards.  Charles McCarty added three solo and four assisted tackles.

LJ Warfield led Bryan Station’s ground game with 77 yards on 13 carries.  Loran Smith added 55 yards on six carries.  Josh Arnett recorded 43 yards on 10 carries.  Jaylin Johnson completed six of 13 passes for 87 yards with one inteception.  Loran Smith caught four passes for 74 yards.  Tae Green led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles.  Austin Hendron added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Damien Campbell also recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.  Tim Hayden intercepted two passes.

Dylan Doll kicked a 28 yard field goal with 10 seconds remaining in the game to give Henry County a 45-42 victory over Anderson County.  Henry County trailed 42-27 after three quarters but rallied for the victory.

Henry County recorded 22 first downs and 577 yards of total offense.  They were penalized seven times for 93 yards.  Anderson County recorded 25 first downs and 471 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized six times for 31 yards.

Lue Magness led Henry County’s ground game with 108 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries.  Lue Magness completed 19 of 36 passes for 416 yards and two touchdowns.  Justin Hartlage caught 10 passes for 169 yards.  Dylan Hall caught four passes for 162 yards and a touchdown.  Justin Hartlage led the defense with 10 solo and six assisted tackles.  Lue Magness added six solo and five assisted tackles.

Ethan Kelly led Anderson County’s ground attack with 259 yards and five touchdowns on 26 carries.  Seth Carmichael completed 12 of 14 passes for 132 yards.  Matt Sprague caught three passes for 65 yards.  Logan Woodside led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Travis Phillips added five solo tackles.

Lexington Catholic 62  Lexington Christian Academy 0 – Lexington Catholic rolled up 443 yard and seven touchdowns on the ground and the defense shut out the Eagles tonight.  LCA was playing shorthanded tonight as several key players did not play due to disciplinary reasons and injuries.

West Jessamine 34  Tates Creek 14 – West Jessamine’s defense recovered five fumbles and intercepted four passes to help the Colts improve to 5-0.

Henry Clay 27  Lafayette 20 – Bo Brooks scored on a 14 yard run late in the game to give the Blue Devils the victory.

Scott County 25  Clark County 15 – Josh Walls scored three touchdowns on the ground to lead Scott County to victory.

Pleasure Ridge Park 27  Bryan Station 13 – Marcus Brown ran for 221 yards and a TD and caught two touchdown passes to lead PRP to victory.

LaRue County 52  Elizabethtown 28 – LaRue County ran for 649 yards led by Cody Thompson with 261 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries.

Ryle 28  Cooper 21 – Travis Elliott led Ryle with 171 yards and a TD on 25 carries.  Dvontae Bradley led Cooper with 181 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries.

Johnson Central 28  Breathitt County 6 – JJ Jude ran for 303 yards and two touchdowns to lead Johnson Central.

Collins 52  Bullitt East 7 – Brendan Cresap threw TD passes of 6, 10, 9, 18, and 2 yards to lead Collins to victory.

Bo Brooks led Henry Clay’s ground game with 138 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Jerry Williams carried the ball 20 times for 79 yards and  a touchdown.  Jerry Williams completed 10 of 13 passes for 95 yards and a TD.  Vinny Miller caught six passes for 49 yards and a TD.  Ryan Duzyk led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles.  Anthony Lindsey added three solo and three assisted tackles.

Bubba Johnson led Lafayette’s ground attack with 80 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Matt Britt completed 12 of 23 passes for 168 yards.  Tanner Napier caught six passes for 98 yards.  Nick Jeter added four receptions for 42 yards.  Andy Hampton led the defense with three solo and eight assisted tackles.  Justin Carr added one solo and 11 assisted tackles.

West Jessamine’s defense recovered five fumbles and intercepted four passes in a 34-14 victory over Tates Creek.  The Colts held Tates Creek’s high octane ground attack to 85 yards on 41 rushing attempts.  West Jessamine led 13-6 after three quarters but scored 21 points in the final period to ensure the victory and remain undefeated.

West Jessamine recorded 14 first downs and 255 yards of total offense.  The Colts were penalized 10 times for 55 yards and had one pass intercepted.  Tates Creek recorded 14 first downs and 276 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized seven times for 41 yards, lost five fumbles, and had four passes intercepted.

Matt Carbol led West Jessamine’s ground game with 113 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries.  Romando Tatum carried the ball 14 times for 68 yards.  Marr Carbol completed seven of 17 passes for 49 yards and one TD with an interception.  Will Knight caught three passes for nine yards and a touchdown.  Blake Davis led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles.  Aaron Shearer added three solo and five assisted tackles.  Shearer added a fumble recovery and intercepted a pass. 

Brandon Shrout led Tates Creek’s ground game with 57 yards on 13 carries.  Jontez Jones carried the ball 17 times for 51 yards and a touchdown.  Dee Christopher completed eight of 25 passes for 191 yards and a touchdown with four interceptions.Martrell Berry caught two passes for 37 yards and a touchdown.  Jontez Jones added two receptions for 33 yards.  Jon. Meadors led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles.  Aaron Mullins added three solo and nine assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling seven yards.

Jos Walls scored three touchdowns on the ground to lead Scott County to a 25-15 victory over Clark County.  Scott County scored 18 points in the second quarter to take a 25-7 lead at halftime.

Scott County recorded 18 first downs and 400 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized six times for 39 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Clark County recorded 12 first downs and 315 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized nine times for 62 yards and lost one fumble.

Kevo Edwards led Scott County’s ground game with 146 yards on nine carries.  Josh Walls added 115 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries.  Marcus Hill carried the ball 21 times for 89 yards.  Ben Lawler completed one of three passes for 30 yards and a TD with one interception.  James Happy caught one pass for 30 yards and a TD.  Josh Walls led the defense with five solo tackles.  Marcus Hill recorded four solo and one assisted tackle.

Pokey Harris led the Clark County ground game with 43 yards on 14 carries.  Andrew Dini completed 13 of 26 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns.  Darius Skinner caught six passes for 120 yards and a TD.  Pokey Harris added four receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown.  Colin Reddix led the defense with four solo and five assisted tackles.  Ethan Curry added four solo and four assisted tackles.  Curry also intercepted a pass.

Lexington Catholic rolled up 443 yards on the ground in a 62-0 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  LCA was shorthanded tonight with several key players missing the game due to either injuries or other reasons.  Lexington Catholic led 16-0 at halftime but the lack of numbers and turnovers took its toll on LCA in the third quarter and the Eagles were outscored 34-0 in the third quarter.

Lexington Catholic recorded 22 first downs and 572 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 13 times for 113 yards.  LCA recorded seven first downs and 138 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

James Maddox led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 128 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.  Kyle Bolin carried the ball eight times for 87 yards and a TD.  Kyle Bolin completed 15 of 25 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns.  Adam Bush caught six passes for 56 yards and two touchdowns.  Alex Nash led the defense with five solo tackles.  Adam Wachs added four solo tackles.

Scout McCamy led LCA’s ground game with 36 yards on nine carries.  Scout McCamy completed 13 of 27 passes for 70 yards with two interceptions.  Clay Mossbarger caught five passes for 13 yards.  Chad Snyder led the defense with 10 solo and one assisted tackles.
