Martin County vs. Lexington Catholic

Martin County coach Robin Newsome started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Chloe May, 5-7 Sr. Candace Spaulding, 6-4 Fr. Maci Maynard, 5-5 Jr. Sophie Harless, and 5-7 Jr. Brooklyn Marcum. Lexington Catholic coach Michael Menifee countered with 5-8 Sr. Alivia Morris, 5-9 Jr. Bella Bretz, 5-9 Jr. Payton Avilez, 5-6 Fr. Allie Hamilton, and 5-7 Jr. Mary Walker West.

Martin County trailed 28-27 at halftime but outscored Lexington Catholic 29-12 in the second half on their way to a 56-40 victory. There was 10 lead changes and five ties in this game. Lexington Catholic only shot 18.5% from the field in the second half. Martin County shot 37% from the field including four of 22 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 31.9% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Knights connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Martin County turnovers.

Brooklyn Marcum led Martin County with 17 points including four of four free throws, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Maci Maynard added 12 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots, and three steals. Chloe May recorded eight points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and two assists. Candace Spaulding chipped in with seven points including three of four free throws, three rebounds, and two steals. Makenna Marcum added seven points including three of four free throws. Sophie Harless recorded two points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Alivia Morris led Lexington Catholic with 11 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Mary Walker West added 10 points including three of four free throws, and four rebounds. Bella Bretz recorded eight points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Payton Avilez chipped in with seven points, six rebounds, and three assists. 5-5 7th Grade Harper Reynolds recorded four points and five rebounds.

Madison Southern vs. Ryle

Ryle raced out to a 26-13 first quarter lead on their way to a 56-47 victory over Madison Southern. Ryle shot 37.8% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Raiders connected on 14 of 16 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 26.8% from the field including eight of 23 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 17 of 20 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Ryle turnovers.

Jaelyn Jones led Ryle with 19 points including 10 of 12 free throws, 13 rebounds, four assists, and two steals. 5-8 8th Grade Emerson Dowell added 11 points including three three point baskets, and two of two free throws. Jayden McClain recorded two points, 10 rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals.

Laci Sandlin led Madison Southern with 17 points including two three point baskets, nine of 10 free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Emma Kate Lawson added nine points including four of four free throws and six rebounds. 5-5 Fr. Ellen Todd recorded seven points and two rebounds. 5-9 Fr. Rockcastle County shot 45.2% from the field including two of five from beyond the arc. Coralee Pelfrey led Dixie Heights with 25 points including seven three point baskets, seven rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals. Catherine Buddenberg added 18 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Bella Crawford recorded 10 points and four assists. Jordan Puitz chipped in with nine points, two rebounds, and three assists.

Ryle defeated Martin County by the score of 53-38. There were two lead changes and six ties in this game. Ryle shot 39.1% from the field including seven of 24 from the three point line. The Lady Raiders connected on 10 of 11 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 17 Martin County turnovers. Martin County shot 40.5% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Ryle turnovers.

Dixie Heights shot 53.6% from the field including nine of 26 from the three point line. The Lady Colonels connected on four of five free throws. Pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 Knox Central turnovers. Knox Central shot 42.6% from the field including two of five from beyond the arc. The Lady Panthers connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Dixie Heights turnovers.


Catherine Buddenberg led Dixie Heights with 23 points, four rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Coralee Pelfrey added 13 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Asia Carner recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, three assists, and three steals. Bella Crawford chipped in with eight points, two rebounds, and four steals.

Rockcastle County vs. Madison Southern (Consolation Bracket Champions)

Madison Southern raced out to an early 19-6 lead and still led 33-32 after three quarters but Rockcastle County rallied for a 51-42 victory. It was a game of runs as Madison Southern had a 10-2 run while Rockcastle County enjoyed a run of 22-3. Rockcastle County shot 50% from the field including three of nine from the three point line. The Lady Rockets connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 40.5% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on seven of 10 freed throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 18 Rockcastle County turnovers.

Macy Spivey led Rockcastle County with 19 points including two three point baskets, five of nine free throws, and eight rebounds. Tessa Begley added 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and seven steals. Taylor King recorded 12 points including four of five free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

The Lady Panthers connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 42 points off 26 Martin County turnovers. Martin County shot 27.9% from the field including five of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 17 of 18 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Knox Central turnovers.


5-7 Sr. Sydney Hurst led Knox Central with 26 points including four three point baskets, four of four free throws, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Halle Collins added 25 points including three of four free throws, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Shelbie Mills recorded 21 points including six of six free throws, five assists, and four steals.


Chloe May led Martin County with 16 points including four three point baskets, two of two free throws, and two rebounds. Maci Maynard added 13 points including five of six free throws, 13 rebounds, and two steals. Brooklyn Marcum recorded six points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

The Lady Colonels connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Ryle turnovers. Ryle shot 40% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Raiders connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Dixie Heights turnovers.


Coralee Pelfrey led Dixie Heights with 20 points including two three point baskets, eight of 10 free throws, eight rebounds, and three assists. Bella Crawford added 19 points including three three point baskets, two of two free throws, and six rebounds. Catherine Buddenberg recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Jordan Puitz chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets, four of five free throws, and five rebounds.


Jaelyn Jones led Ryle with 27 points including eight of eight free throws, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Laynee Hampton added 19 points including three three point baskets, two of four free throws, two rebounds, and two steals.

Adair County (Region 5) vs. Bowling Green (Region 4)

Adair County coach Deron Breeze started the following lineup: 6-6 Sr. Brayton Coomer, 6-2 Jr. Dawson Gilbert, 6-7 Sr. Isaiah Cochran, 6-0 Sr. Connor Loy, and 6-1 Sr. Lane Grant. Bowling Green coach DG Sherrill countered with 6-0 Sr. Braylon Banks, 6-0 Sr. Luke Idlett, 6-2 Sr. Joseph Hurt, 5-10 Sr. Kadyn Carpenter, and 6-0 Sr. Deuce Bailey.

Deuce Bailey hit a driving layup with nine seconds left in overtime to give Bowling Green a 52-51 victory over Adair County for the victroy. Adair County had a last chance opportunity but the shot would not fall. Bowling Green had a 10 point lead early in the final quarter but Adair County rallied to tie the score 46-46 and had a late shot to win it in regulation but the shot failed to connect. There were six ties and 10 lead changes in this game. Bowling Green shot 45.7% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line. The Purples connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Adair County turnovers. Adair County shot 41.5% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 12 points off eight Bowling Green turnovers.

Braylon Banks led Bowling Green with 16 points including four of four free throws and four assists. Kadyn Carpenter added 13 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Deuce Bailey recorded eight points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots. 6-0 Sr. Jace Wardlow chipped in with seven points and five rebounds. Luke Idlett added six points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Connor Loy led Adair County with 14 points including four of seven free throws, nine rebounds, eight assists, and two steals. Isaiah Cochron added 14 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots. Brayton Coomer recorded 13 points and eight rebounds.

Jeffersontown coach Richard Duncan countered with 6-2 Sr. Prince Kahnplaye, 6-1 So. Larron Westmoreland, 6-5 Sr, Camron McDaniels, 5-10 Jr. Dayvonne Harrison, and 6-1 Jr. Damere Clark.

Jeffersontown outscored St. Xavier 25-15 in the final quarter to upset St. Xavier by the score of 64-59. Camron McDaniels had been cold from the floor but he heated up scoring the last eight points for Jeffersontown in the last 1:06 to give the Chargers the come-from-behind victory. There were six ties and nine lead changes in this game. Jeffersontown shot 36.7% from the field including eight of 22 from the three point line, connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 St. Xavier turnovers. St. Xavier shot 45.3% from the field including seven of 23 from beyond the arc. The Tigers connected on four of 10 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored nine points off six Jeffersontown turnovers.

Prince Kahnplaye led Jeffersontown with 17 points including three three point baskets, 10 rebounds, and two steals. Dayvonne Harrison added 17 points including three three point baskets, four of four free throws, two rebounds, and two assists. Camron McDaniwls recorded 17 points including two three point baskets, five of eight free throws, and nine rebounds. Larron Westmoreland chipped in with nine points, seven rebounds, and three steals.

Jeremiah Jackson led St. Xavier with 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. Jermaine Cameron added 11 points including three three point baskets, and four rebounds. The Indians connected on three of three free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine Great Crossing turnovers.

Malachi Moreno led Great Crossing with 26 points including six of six free throws, 14 rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots. Vince Dawson III added 16 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Brady Orem recorded 14 points on five of five from the field and four of five free throws, and five rebounds. 6-2 Jr. Trevanti Cooper chipped in with 10 points on four of four from the field including two of two from beyond the arc.

Cayden Reed led Montgomery County with 15 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, seven assists, and two steals. Luke Fawns added 10 points including two three point baskets. Dawson Gentry recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. Tyce Jarvis chipped in with eight points including three of three free throws and three rebounds. Andrew Terry recorded six points on two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals.

Great Crossing defeated Bowling Green by the score of 71-61. Great Crossing led by 24 in the third quarter but Bowling Green cut the deficit to six points in the final quarter. Great Crossing shot 58.3% from the field including three of nine from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored two points off four Bowling Green turnovers. Bowling Green shot 42% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc. The Purples connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Great Crossing turnovers.

Malachi Moreno led Great Crossing with 24 points on 10 of 11 from the field and four of seven free throws, 15 rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots. Vince Dawson III added 18 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists. Gage Richardson recorded 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Brady Orem chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, and two assists.

Kadyn Carpenter led Bowling Green with 19 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds,and two assists. 6-0 Sr. Jace Wardlow added 13 points including two three point baskets, three of four free throws, and five rebounds. Clinton Prairie (26-3) vs. Orleans (25-4) (Class 1A Championship)

Clinton Prairie coach Chad Peckinbaugh started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Nick Curtin, 6-3 Sr. Ryan Harshbarger, 6-5 Sr. Jake McGraw, 6-0 Jr. Nick Ewing, and 6-2 Sr. Alex Farley. Orleans coach Tom Bradley countered with 6-3 Jr. Nate Brown, 6-2 Jr. Nolan Robbins, 6-3 Jr. Alex DeWitt, 6-1 Sr. Ryan Crocker, and 6-1 Sr. Bryce Jones.

Orleans defeated Clinton Prairie by the score of 64-55 in a game defined by scoring “runs”. Orleans led 28-25 at halftime but extended the score to 44-33 with 3:05 left in the third quarter. However Clinton Prairie went on an 11-2 run to only trail by two; 46-44 at the end of three quarters. Orleans pulled away late for the final margin. There were four lead changes and six ties in this game. The key was Orlean’s patience and hot shooting to attack a Clinton Prairie 3-2 defense that registers 10 steals and forced 14 Orleans turnovers that they converted to 18 points.

Orleans shot a sizzling 63.9% from the field including six of 10 from the three point line. The Bulldogs connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Clinton Prairie turnovers. Clinton Prairie shot 44.7% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc. The Gophers connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Orleans turnovers.

Alex DeWitt led Orleans with 24 points on 10 of 14 from the field and four of six free throws, and seven rebounds. Bryce Jones added 17 points including two three point baskets, three of four free throws, five rebounds, and four assists. Ryan Crocker recorded 16 points including three three point baskets, five of six free throws, and three rebounds. 6-6 Jr. Mason Freed chipped in with four points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots. Nate Brown recorded three points, three rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and two blocked shots.

Jake McGraw led Clinton Prairie with 23 points including five of seven free throws, seven rebounds, and four assists. Alex Farley added 16 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Nick Curtin recorded 10 points and seven rebounds. 5-10 Jr. Evan Smock chipped in with six points on two three point baskets and two assists.

Manchester pulled away late to defeat University by the score of 59-54. There were 11 lead changes and 10 ties in this game. Manchester utilized the inside=outside duo of Gavin Betten and Ethan Hendrix who combined for 42 points to offset the 11 three point baskets by University. University was 11 of 25 from beyond the arc but only seven of 26 from inside the arc. Manchester shot 56.1% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line. The Squires connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 11 points off eight University turnovers. University shot 35.3% from the field including 11 of 25 from beyond the arc. The Trailblazers connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine Manchester turnovers.

Gavin Betten led Manchester with 21 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Ethan Hendrix added 21 points including two three point baskets, five of six free throws, two rebounds, and four assists.

Blake Gray led University with 20 points including six three point baskets, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Max McComb added 16 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals. 6-6 So. Josh Henderson recorded seven points and six rebounds. Zien Bland also scored seven points. Cooper Cammack pulled down seven rebounds. Faisal Mohamud recorded four points, two rebounds, and six assists.

South Bend Saint Joseph coach Eric Gaff started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Chase Konieczny, 6-2 So. Elijah King, 6-4 Jr. Nick Shrewsberry, 6-1 Jr. Ethan Roseman, and 6-1 Sr. Brashaun Woods. Indianapolis Crispus Attucks coach Chris Hawkins countered with 6-5 Sr. Kayden English, 6-3 Sr. Che Brownlow, 6-9 Sr. Dezmon Briscoe, 6-1 Sr. Chris Hurt, and 6-2 Sr. Imon Cousins.

South Bend Saint Joseph defeated Indianapolis Crispus Attucks by the score of 56-52 despite repeated rallies by the Tigers. There were four lead changes and eight ties in this game. The score was tied 50-50 with 1:14 left on the clock when Saint Joseph’s Chase Konieczny scored on a put back dunk that appeared to swing momentum in South Bend Saint Joseph’s favor. Brashaun Woods the hit two key free throws to ensure the victory. South Bend Saint Joseph shot 38.6% from the field including three of 20 from the three point line. The Huskies connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored eight points off 14 Indianapolis Crispus Attucks turnovers. Crispus Attucks shot 44.2% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc. The Tigers connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight South Bend Saint Joseph turnovers.

Nick Shrewsberry led South Bend Saint Joseph with 16 points including five of six free throws, five rebounds, and two steals. Elijah King added 16 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and two steals. Chase Konieczny recorded 10 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Brashaun Woods chipped in with eight points. Ethan Roseman recorded six points, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

Dezmon Briscoe led Indianapolis Crispys Attucks with 17 points including five of seven free throws, 11 rebounds, and five blocked shots. Kayden English added 13 points including three of four free throws and two rebounds. Chris Hurt recorded eight points including three of five free throws, six rebounds, and five assists. 5-6 So. AJ Jones chipped in with seven points.

Jeffersonville handed Fishers their first loss of the season 67-66 in overtime. Michael Cooper scored to tie the game at 60-60 for Jeffersonville and force overtime. Tre Singleton hit Elijah Cheeks with a pass from the low post for a layup that gave Jeffersonville a 67-66 lead with 37 seconds left in the game. The Red Devils survived a couple of misses in the final seconds for the win. There were six lead changes and seven ties in this game. Jeffersonville shot 58.7% from the field including five of nine from the three point line. The Red Devils connected on eight of nine free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Fishers turnovers. Fishers shot 45.6% from the field including seven of 22 from beyond the arc. The Tigers connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 points off nine Jeffersonville turnovers.

Tre Singleton led Jeffersonville with 26 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Michael Cooper added 15 points including six of six free throws, six rebounds, and two assists. 5-10 Sr. Shawn Boyd recorded 11 points including three three point baskets. PJ Douglas added eight points on four of four from the field, four rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocked shots.

Jason Gardner Jr. led Fishers with 15 points including five of seven free throws, five rebounds, and five assists. Justin Kirby added 15 points, three rebounds, and two assists. JonAnthony Hall recorded nine points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. Cooper Zachary chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Nathan Baker added seven points, six rebounds, and five assists. 6-3 Sr. Millen McCartney recorded six points on two three point baskets. 6-6 Sr. Logan Sigler added six points on two three point baskets and four rebounds.

Wheeling Central Catholic pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Williamstown by the score of 59-40. There were four ties and 10 lead changes in this game. Wheeling Central Catholic shot 45.7% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line. The Maroon Knights connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 10 Williamstown turnovers. Williamstown shot 33.3% from the field including six of 24 from beyond the arc. The Yellowjackets connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored five points off six Wheeling Central Catholic turnovers.

The Panthers connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Tucker County turnovers. Tucker County shot 34% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Mountain Lions connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored seven points off six Tug Valley turnovers.

Braydon Ferris led Tug Valley with 27 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Hillcrest vs. Chattanooga Prep (Class A Championship)

Hillcrest coach Darreyon Terrell started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Jerrell Miller, 6-0 Sr. Cornell Watson, 6-7 Sr. Taurus Tucker, 5-11 Sr. J’acoby Lewis, and 6-0 Jr. Alex Morgan. Chattanooga Prep coach Christian Collins countered with 6-6 Jr. Derrick Roberson, 6-1 Jr. Demarion Bowman, 6-7 Jr. Joel Bulis, 5-7 Fr. Cadence Collins, and 5-9 So. Austin Jones.

Chattanooga Prep defeated Hillcrest 77-50. Chattanooga Prep shot 48.1% from the field including two of seven from the three point line. The Sentinels connected on 23 of 38 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 14 Hillcrest turnovers. Hillcrest shot 32.5% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc. The Vikings connected on 22 of 35 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored four points off nine Chattanooga Prep turnovers.

Demarion Bowman led Chattanooga Prep with 15 points including four of four free throws and two rebounds. 6-2 Sr. Jaydan Parker added 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Joel Bulis recorded 10 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Derrick Roberson chipped in with 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots. Austin Jones added eight points including four of six free throws, six rebounds, and three assists. Cadence Collins recorded seven points including three of four free throws, two rebounds, and two assists. Darius Tucker pulled down six rebounds and blocked two shots.

Alcoa coach Ryan Collins started the following lineup: 6-3 So. Jamir Dean, Sr, Moro Ayl, 6-4 So. Jay Kirk, 5-7 So. Condis Cherry, and 5-11 Jr. Jabriel Koko. Loretto defeated Alcoa 68-66 in overtime. This was a game of runs as Alcoa led by 12 in the second quarter and Loretto led by eight in the final quarter. There were three ties and 11 lead changes in this game. The score was tied 61-61 at the end of regulation. Loretto shot 43.9% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line. The Mustangs connected on 11 of 21 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored two points off seven Alcoa turnovers. Alcoa shot 33.3% from the field including eight of 30 from beyond the arc. The Tornadoes connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Loretto turnovers.

Grayson Burleson led Loretto with 20 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots. Kasen Buie added 19 points including four of six free throws, 14 rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. Cincinnati Aiken coach Derrell Black started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Jaiden Arnold. 5-11 Jr. Antwan Hinton, 6-6 Sr. Tayvon Smith, 5-9 Sr. Antonio Hurcherson Jr., and 5-10 Sr. James Burnett Jr. Louisville coach Tom Siegfried countered with 6-5 Sr. Tate Aljancic, 6-2 Sr. Ashton Marshall, 6-7 Sr. Brayden Gross, 6-0 Sr. Beau Siegfried, and 6-2 Sr. Devin Bailey.

Louisville led by 21 points in the first half but had to withstand a furious rally by Aiken to earn a 63-61 victory. There were three lead changes in the game. Louisville shot 54.8% from the field including eight of 16 from the three point line. The Leopards connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 11 points off six Aiken turnovers. Aiken shot 45.3% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc. The Falcons connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off nine Louisville turnovers.

Tate Aljancic led Louisville with 17 points including two three point baskets, five of six free throws, three rebounds, and three assists. Beau Siegfried added 14 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists. 6-3 Sr. Avery Andrejcik recorded 14 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two blocked shots. Brayden Gross chipped in with nine points, 12 rebounds, and three assists. Ashton Marshall added nine points, eight rebounds, and two assists.

James Burnett Jr. led Aiken with 23 points, six rebounds, two assists, and three steals. The Panthers connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 10 Glenville turnovers. Glenville shot 47.2% from the field including 11 of 24 from beyond the arc. The Tarblooders connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored two points off five Maysville turnovers.

Gator Nichols led Maysville with 36 points including four three point baskets, 10 of 12 free throws, three rebounds, and four assists. Jordyn Watson added 19 points including two three point baskets, five of six free throws, and eight rebounds. Kane Roehrig recorded seven points and two assists.

Xavier Vickerstaff led Glenville with 21 points including five three point baskets and 13 rebounds. Micah Young led Westerville North with 24 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Tai Perkins added 19 points including two three point baskets, three of four free throws, four assists, and four steals. The Pioneers connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Reynoldsburg turnovers. Reynoldsburg shot 38.3% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc. The Raiders connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Olentangy Orange turnovers.

Ellis Appiah led Olentangy Orange with 20 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists. North Laurel trailed by seven points in the third quarter but rallied for a 51-42 victory over Ashland Blazer. There were seven ties and five lead changes in this game. There were eight ties and nine lead changes in the game. Sacred Heart shot 37% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. They connected on 29 of 36 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 George Rogers Clark turnovers. George Rogers Clark shot 40.4% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc. They connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart with 21 points including two three point baskets, five of six free throws, and four rebounds. Tootie Jordan added 19 points including 11 of 13 free throws, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Morgan Frey recorded six points on six of six free throws, 10 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Brianna Wilkins chipped in with six points and five rebounds.

The Rams connected on 14 of 24 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 14 Brother Rice turnovers. Brother Rice shot 45% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc. The Crusaders connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine DePaul College Prep turnovers.

Makai Kyamme led DePaul College Prep with 16 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Rashaun Porter added 14 points including four of seven free throws, 11 rebounds, and five steals. Rykan Woo recorded seven points including five of five free throws.

Fort Loramie shot 40.5% from the field including five of seven from beyond the arc. Pickerington Central shot 40% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line. The Tigers connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 17 Cincinnati Princeton turnovers. Cincinnati Princeton shot 38.6% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc. The Vikings connected on eight of 18 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored five points off 16 Pickerington Central turnovers.

5-7 Jr. Gabby Plair led Pickerington Central with 13 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists. Blossom Wallace added 10 points, six rebounds, and four assists. London Johnson recorded nine points, two rebounds, five assists, five steals, and three blocked shots. Zoe Coleman chipped in with six points, four rebounds, and two assists.

Kali Forston led Cincinnati Princeton with 19 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Mari Gerton added eight points including four of eight free throws, five rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocked shots. Charleston Catholic vs. Wheeling Central Catholic (Class 2A Championship)

Charleston Catholic coach Wes Hevener started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Ilyauna Evans, 5-7 Sr. Aurelia Kirby, 6-0 Jr. Mary Rushworth, 5-6 Fr. Ali Wilcox, and 5-6 Sr. Molly Messer. Wheeling Central Catholic coach Roberta Olejasz countered with 5-7 So. Bella Fitzsimmons, 5-10 Sr. Kaitlyn Blake, 5-11 Jr. Haley Severns, 5-5 Jr. Seneca Heller, and 5-6 Jr. Addie Payton.

Charleston Catholic had lost two previous meetings with Wheeling Central Catholic but parlayed a strong defensive effort with a controlled, slower tempo to earn a 55-41 victory and earn the championship. Charleston Catholic got off to a fast start and led 18-8 at the end of the first quarter. Charleston Catholic shot 40% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line. The Irish connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Wheeling Central Catholic turnovers. Wheeling Central Catholic shot 32% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc. The Maroon Knights connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Charleston Catholic turnovers.

Mary Rushworth led Charleston Catholic with 16 points including three of three free throws, seven rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots. Molly Messer added 15 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Ali Wilcox recorded 11 points including two three point baskets, five of six free throws, and two rebounds. Aurelia Kirby chipped in with seven points including four of four free throws, five assists, and two steals. 6-0 Fr. Nora Aliff recorded four points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Kaitlyn Blake led Wheeling Central Catholic with 14 points, eight rebounds, and two steals. 5-8 Jr. Erin Maxwell added nine points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. Wayne avenged an early season loss with a 56-39 victory over Nitro. Wayne shot 47.5% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Pioneers connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Nitro turnovers. Nitro shot 30.4% from the field including six of 26 from beyond the arc. The Lady Wildcats connected on five of six free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Wayne turnovers.

Jayce Sammons led Wayne with 22 points including two three point baskets, 10 of 12 free throws, and five steals. Brooke Adkins added 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and five steals. 5-4 So. Lexi Blankenship recorded eight points and four rebounds. Morgantown shot 23.5% from the field including seven of 28 from beyond the arc. The Mohigans connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored eight points off 13 Spring Valley turnovers.

Sophi Hutchison led Spring Valley with 24 points including four of six free throws, five rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Brooklyn Ellis added 13 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and two assists. Allie Daniels recorded 12 points including four of four free throws, 16 rebounds, and two steals.
