Lexington Christian Academy raced out to a 49-0 halftime lead on their way to a 56-0 victory over Shawnee. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 15 first downs and 312 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized three times for 30 yards. Shawnee recorded six first downs and 117 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 48 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Brady Hensley led LCA’s ground game with 63 yards and three touchdowns on five carries. BJ Evans carried the ball three times for 52 yards and a touchdown. Leland Edwards added 38 yards on four carries. Cutter Boley completed nine of 12 passes for 118 yards and three touchdowns. Carter Penix completed three of three passes for 24 yards. Saxton Howard completed three of three passes for 14 yards. Parker Chaney caught three passes for 56 yards and two touchdowns. Brady Hensley added three receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown. Collin Hansley returned one punt for 18 yards. Major Brown led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles. Collin Hansley added four solo tackles. A. Underwood recorded one solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Jayden Taylor recovered a fumble he returned two yards and intercepted a pass he returned five yards. Jackson Dillow intercepted a pass he returned 64 yards for a touchdown.

#14 led Shawnee’s ground game with 25 yards on seven carries. M. Daugherty carried the ball three times for 20 yards. J. Henderson completed nine of 16 passes for 53 yards with one interception. #2 caught three passes for 38 yards. N. Mitchell added three receptions for 11 yards. #2 returned five kickoffs for 67 yards with a long return of 20 yards. N. Mitchell led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles. Zavion Hall and #2 each recorded one solo and three assisted tackles.

A couple of special team miscues and some controversial pass interference penalties doomed Frederick Douglass tonight as they lost to powerhouse Cathedral by the score of 28-19. Cathedral recorded 18 first downs and 314 yards of total offense. The Fighting Irish were penalized seven times for 46 yards and lost a fumble. Frederick Douglass recorded 15 first downs and 329 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized five times for 45 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Jalen Bonds led Cathedral’s ground game with 109 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. Danny O’Neil carried the ball 10 times for 28 yards and a touchdown. Danny O’Neil completed 14 of 21 passes for 178 yards and one touchdown. Zach Meeks caught five passes for 61 yards. DeVaughn Slaughter added four receptions for 73 yards and one touchdown. Van Krisiloff punted four times for a 41.6 average with a long punt of 64 yards with one punt imside the 20 yard line. DeVaughn Slaughter returned one kickoff for 25 yards. Kyle Braun led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards. Jackson Lockhart added five solo and three assisted tackles. Adrian Hughes recorded three solo and four assisted tackles. Max Finn added three solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 43 yards. Isaiah Rollins intercepted a pass he returned three yards.

Pharo Watts led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 26 yards on 10 carries. Kenoxie Allen carried the ball four times for 17 yards. Logan Busson carred once for a one yard touchdown run. Jaxon Strautman completed 26 of 42 yards for 274 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Cooper Ranvier caught seven passes for 80 yards. Darion Talbert added six receptions for 72 yards. Graham Dunn recorded six receptions for 60 yards. Aveion Chenault added three receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown. Cooper Ranvier punted three times for a 38.0 average with a long punt of 44 yards with three punts inside the 20 yard line, and kicked off four yards for a 58.8 average and three touchbacks. Aveion Chenault returned two punts for 13 yards with a long return of 13 yards. Jeremiah Lowe returned one kickoff for 46 yards. Darion Talbert returned four kickoffs for 67 yards with a long return of 35 yards. Kaden Clay led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles. Logan Busson added two solo and six assisted tackles. EJ Clinkscale recorded five solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss. Darion Neal chipped in with four solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss and recovered a fumble. Marciano Jenkins added two solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.

Lafayette celebrated their first win of the season with a 25-12 come-from-behind victory over Moore. Lafayette recorded 18 first downs and 325 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized seven times for 75 yards and lost three fumbles. Moore recorded 14 first downs and 199 yards of total offense. The Mustangs were penalized 12 times for 112 yards, lost one fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

DJ Walker led Lafayette’s ground game with 89 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. KJ Jones carried the ball seven times for 28 yards. DJ Walker completed 14 of 21 passes for 178 yards and one touchdown. Kevin Amuri caught four passes for 70 yards. C. Giannone added three receptions for 26 yards. Nemo Jarber recorded two receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown. J. Stephens returned one kickoff for nine yards. Tussey Fisher led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles. Cael Green added five solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 12 yard loss. AJ Nichols recorded five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards, Dez Hanley chipped in with five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. J. Stephens tallied three solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. DJ Jones added two solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Evan Shear recovered a fumble and Nasir Andrews scored on a 25 yard interception return.

Javis Wallace led Moore’s ground game with 55 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Mekhi Jones carried the ball four times for 33 yards. Javis Wallace completed nine of 26 passes for 80 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Nate Moore caught three passes for 28 yards. Mekhi Jones added two receptions for 22 yards. DaShawn Hill caught a nine yard touchdown pass. Martin Hines returned two kickoffs for 33 yards with a long return of 22 yards. Keyon Johnson led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Nate Moore added three solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards. D. Murrell recorded three solo tackles and recovered a fumble. Robert Tilford and Isreal Hoff each recovered a fumble.

Durell Turner led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 146 yards and one touchdown on nine carries. Tysin Weaver carried the ball six times for 47 yards and a touchdown. Riley Gilbert recorded 19 yards on six carries. Brady Lee added 16 yards and two touchdowns on four carries. Brady Lee completed 11 of 15 passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Grayson Harris caught six passes for 52 yards. Nathan Kitchens added three receptions for 48 yards and two touchdowns. Landon Brown, Luke Schieber, and Dayne Powell each returned one kickoff for 23, 19, and 18 yards respectively. Scott County utilized their Wing-T ground attack to defeat Collins by the score of 56-26. Scott County recorded 17 first downs and 475 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized 17 times for 157 yards and had a pass intercepted. Collins recorded 19 first downs and 301 yards of total offense. The Titans were penalized seven times for 68 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Timmy Emongo led Scott County’s ground game with 140 yards and two touchdowns on four carries. Ellis Huguely carried the ball five times for 92 yards and a touchdown. Thomas Feickert added 67 yards on five carries. Kanye Garrett recorded 51 yards on six carries. Jacob Fryman chipped in with 23 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. Andrew Hickey completed three of five passes for 44 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Eli Lilly caught two passes for 19 yards. Ellis Huguely added a 25 yard touchdown reception. Ballard defeated Tates Creek by the score of 42-6 tonight. Ballard recorded 16 first downs and 467 yards of total offense. The Bruins were penalized six for 50 yards and had a pass intercepted. Tates Creek recorded 13 first downs and 162 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized once for 18 yards.

Journey Wyche led Ballard’s ground game with 190 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Damari Edelen carried the ball five times for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Larry Irvin added four yards and a touchdown on five carries. Larry Irvin completed 12 of 19 passes for 161 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Maurice Stephens caught five passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. Daelen Thompson added three receptions for 38 yards. Damari Edelen recorded two receptions for 16 yards. George Givens and Journey Wyche caught one pass each for 30 and 16 yards respectively. Daelen Thompson returned two punts for 56 yards with a long return of 36 yards. Maurice Stephens returned one kickoff for 59 yards. Mike Clack led the defense with five solo tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 45 yards. Davon Rudolph also recorded five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Montel Campbell added four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 10 yard loss. Jaden Potter chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.

Logan Julian led Tates Creek’s ground game with eight yards on two carries. Tony Bell carried the ball eight times for seven yards. Andrew Witherington completed 19 of 28 passes for 192 yards and one touchdowns. Thomas Seigler caught six passes for 62 yards and a touchdown. Luke Cooper added five receptions for 57 yards. JT Cooper recorded four receptions for 58 yards. Emmanuel Castro punted six times for a 40.5 average with a long kick of 52 yards. Stephan Jones returned three kickoffs for 44 yards with a long return of 23 yards. Michael Winn led the defense with seven solo tackles with two of their tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards. Stephan Jones added six solo tackles. Jaysean Layne recorded five solo and one assisted tackles. Logan Julian chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles. Kaden Anderson intercepted a pass.

Danville came into the game winless but despite turnovers, ejections, and penalties faught valiantly before being overpowered by Knox Central in a 50-40 road defeat. However it took an eye popping 526 yards and six touchdowns by Steve Partin of Knox Central to subdue the Admirals. Knox Central recorded 586 yards while Danville rolled up 425 yards of total offense.

Steve Partin led Knox Central’s ground game with 526 yards and six touchdowns on 39 carries. Mason Griffin carried the ball seven times for 42 yards and a touchdown. Mason Griffin completed three of four passes for five yards. Landen Daughtry caught three passes for five yards. Matt Elkins led the defense with three solo and eight assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses. Dalton Crawford added two solo and five assisted tackles. Brayden Sizemore recorded one solo and five assisted tackles and Tanner Hinkle intercepted a pass.

Demontae Trumbo led Danville’s ground game with 81 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Braidin Baughman carried the ball 14 times for 76 yards and two touchdowns. Enrique Gutierrez Jacobs completed 13 of 20 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Demontae Trumbo caught five passes for 87 yards and three touchdowns. Jayden Tandy added two receptions for 40 yards. Braidin Baughman caught one pass for 38 yards. Tinden Sellers chipped in with four receptions for 34 yards.

Noah Rhinerson led Owensboro Catholic’s ground game with 26 yards and a touchdown on two carries. Brady Atwell completed 26 of 39 passes for 446 yards and five touchdowns with one interception. William “Tutt” Carrico caught nine passes for 179 yards and a touchdown. Noah Rhinerson added seven receptions for 124 yards and two touchdowns. Waryn Ebelhar recorded five receptions for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Mitchell Sims chipped in with four receptions for 32 yards. Vince Carrico led the defense with six solo and 17 assisted tackles. William Carrico added eight solo and seven assisted tackles. Miles Edge recorded three solo and eight assisted tackles. Cameron Woodword added seven solo and two assisted tackles.

Anthony Burris led Henderson County’s ground game with 124 yards on 17 carries. Trajdon Harris added 112 yards on 35 carries. The Blue Devils were penalized seven times for 65 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Ethan Moore led Madison Southern’s ground game with 125 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Lukas Mullins carried the ball 13 times for 36 yards. Braeden Kelley recorded 35 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Preston Williams carried the ball four times for 28 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Moore completed three of three passes for 72 yards and a touchdown. Brayden Hall caught one pass for 72 yards and a touchdown. Braeden Kelley returned one kickoff for 45 yards. Campbell County got off to a great start tonight leading 22-0 after the first quarter on their way to a 43-22 victory over Newport Central Catholic. The defense set the tone as Garyn Jackson intercepted a pass and ran it back 24 yards for a touchdown seconds into the game to take an early lead and Campbell County’s defense shut the Thoroughbreds offense down on the next two possessions. Campbell County recorded 409 yards of total offense, were penalized nine times for 63 yards, and did not turn the ball over tonight. Newport Central Catholic recorded 272 yards of total offense, were penalized nine times for 87 yards, and had one pass intercepted.

Nathan Smith led Campbell County’s ground game with 119 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. Carson Evers carried the ball seven times for 58 yards. Landon McNabb recorded 46 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Nathan Smith completed 10 of 17 passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns. Garyn Jackson caught two passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. Xavier Francher caught two passes for 34 yards and a touchdown. Jaiden Combs added four receptions for 28 yards. Aiden Dowds led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles. Jaseph Amato added five solo and two assisted tackles. Kameron Vickers recorded four solo and three assisted tackles. Hunter Wiseman chipped in with three solo and four assisted tackles. Garyn Jackson intercepted a pass he returned 24 yards for a touchdown.
