Logan County defeated Madisonville-North Hopkins by the score of 35-18. Logan County recorded 19 first downs and 382 yards of total offense. They were penalized seven times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. North Hopkins recorded 14 first downs and 290 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 55 yards and had three passes intercepted.

Ryan Rayno led Logan County’s ground game with 196 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. Junvontre Dillard added 12 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. Davin Yates completed 10 of 18 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Zane Batten caught three passes for 89 yards and a touchdown. Harper Butler added two receptions for 36 yards and a touchdown. Dayton Blackford returned one kickoff for 16 yards. Ryland Nichols led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in lost yardage. Peyton Taylor added three solo and four assisted tackles. Issac Poe recorded three solo and three assisted tackles. Hunter Holloway recorded three solo tackles and intercepted two passes. Davin Yates intercepted a pass he returned 38 yards.

LaJuan McAdoo led North Hopkins ground game with 98 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. Markezz Hightower carried the ball 10 times for 37 yards. Wyatt Coleman completed 11 of 19 passes for 121 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Anias Mitchell completed six of 11 passes for 20 passes with two interceptions. Javion Martin caught seven passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Tremaine Lovan added four receptions for 34 yards. Ty Wheeler caught three passes for 22 yards. Tremaine Lovan returned one punt return for 24 yards. Tremaine Lovan returned four kickoffs for 33 yards. LaJuan McAdoo returned two kickoffs for 17 yards. Ty Wheeler led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles. Donovan Hill added three solo and four assisted tackles. Evan Robinson recorded four solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

Simon Kenton defeated Dixie Heights by the score of 66-23 tonight. Simon Kenton recorded 39 first downs and 699 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized four times for 19 yards. Dixie Heights recorded 19 first downs and 280 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized three times for 30 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Jayden Lawson led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 314 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries. Kaleb Bleier carried the ball 11 times for 83 yards and a touchdown. Landon Brown recorded 60 yards on 10 carries. Chase Crone carried the ball 10 times for 31 yards and four touchdowns. Chase Crone completed 12 of 21 passes for 203 yards and one touchdown. Carter Blades caught three passes for 74 yards. Jackson Galbraith added four receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown. Nathan Kitchens intercepted a pass.

David Anderson led Dixie Heights ground game with 42 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Caleb Hinkle carried the ball 13 times for 34 yards and a touchdown. Armani Gregg completed 20 of 30 passes for 218 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Trey Barnette caught 10 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown. Grant Johnson added three receptions for 37 yards.

Newport Central Catholic defeated ludlow by the score of 60-30. Newport Central Catholic recorded 23 first downs and 552 yards of toyal offense. They were penalized once for 15 yards and had a pass intercepted. Ludlow recorded 22 first downs and 515 yards of total offense. They were penalized three times for 25 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Demetrick Welch Jr. led Newport Central Catholic’s ground game with 225 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Kaleb Cole added 119 yards and two touchdowns on five carries. Kolton Smith completed 11 of 13 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns. Luke Runyon caught four passes for 63 yards. Matthew Landrum added two receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown. Demetrick Welch Jr. recorded two receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. Chad Atkins caught a nine yard touchdown pass. Luke Runton returned a 19 yard punt return and returned one kickoff for 17 yards.

Bethlehem defeated Louisville Holy Cross by the score of 37-20. Bethlehem led 21-0 at halftime but Holy Cross rallied in the third quarter to only trail 21-14 after three quarters. Bethlehem pulled away in the final quarter for he victory. Bethlehem recorded 17 first downs and 498 yards of total offense. They were penalized four times for 25 yards. Holy Cross recorded 15 first downs and 288 yards of total offense. They were penalized twice for 10 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Zane Wickliffe led Bethlehem’s ground game with 100 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. Cooper Stone completed 23 of 35 passes for 408 yards and two touchdowns. Haydon Osbourne caught eight passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns. Will Ray added nine receptions for 162 yards. Jacob Thornsberry returned one kickoff for 16 yards. Hayden Clark added one kickoff return for 11 yards and Zane Wickliffe returned one punt for 14 yards. Jacob Thornsbury led the defense with six solo and 1.5 assisted tackles. Garrett Lanham added six solo and one assisted tackles. Justin Popovich recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in sacks. Zane Wickliffe intercepted a pass.

Chris Perry led Holy Cross’ ground game with 138 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries. Tyler Ballard carried the ball 10 times for 57 yards. Chris Perry completed five of 11 passes for 59 yards with one interception. Jayse Hardesty caught one pass for 28 yards. Rolen Rose added three receptions for 22 yards. Lexington Catholic erased a 27-7 deficit and scored two touchdowns in the final three minutes to earn a 28-27 victory over Boyle County. Boyle County had one late chance but a long touchdown pass was called back for a procedure penalty and their final pass attempt was intercepted by Lexington Catholic to ensure the victory. Lexington Catholic recorded 17 first downs and 317 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized twice for 10 yards and had one pass intercepted. Boyle County recorded 17 first downs and 338 yards of total offense. The Rebels were penalized four times for 40 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Jackson Wasik led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 21 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Walker Hall carried the ball nine times for 18 yards. Jackson Wasik completed 23 of 29 passes for 278 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Max DeGraff caught six passes for 52 yards. Sam Clements added five receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown. Hunter Foster added four receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown. Corbin Perry caught four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown. Max Mooring returned five kickoffs for 77 yards with a long return of 23 yards. Max DeGraff was four of four extra points, punted three times for a 44.3 average, kicked off three times with two touch backs. Spencer Bennington led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles. Sam Clements added five solo and three assisted tackles. Matthew Kern recorded five solo and one assisted tackles. Max Bertrand intercepted one pass he returned 25 yards.

Montavin Quisenberry led Boyle County’s ground game with 114 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Avery Bodner carried the ball 11 times for 37 yards and a touchdown. Sage Dawson completed 12 of 15 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Montavin Quisenberry caught five passes for 60 yards. Jakei Tarter added four receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. Brock Driver led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Avery Bodner added three solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Tommy Ziesmer recorded four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Will Alexander also recorded four solo tackles.

Bryan Station, after starting their season 0-3 against top competition continues their resurgence winning their fourth in a row with a 50-7 victory over George Rogers Clark. Bryan Station recorded 25 first downs and 411 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized 10 times for 79 yards. George Rogers Clark recorded 12 first downs and 180 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized 11 times for 81 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Jeremiah Mundy-Lloyd led Bryan Station’s ground game with 105 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries. B. Beney carried the ball nine times for 31 yards. Trenton Cutwright completed 14 of 22 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns. JT Haskins Jr. caught six passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Damin Green added five receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown. Damin Green returned two kickoffs for 37 yards with a long return of 19 yards. Z. Dabney led the defense with six solo and six assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 23 yards and recovered a fumble he returned 12 yards. Nikalos Dixon added four solo and six assisted tackles. Jason Hocker recorded two solo and six assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Jahvon Frazier added one solo and six assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. JT Haskins Jr. intercepted a pass.

Bryce Chestnut led the GRC ground game with 50 yards on 10 carries. K. Washington carried the ball nine times for 30 yards. Tyleik Maxwell completed 10 of 17 passes for 82 yards. K. Washington caught five passes for 27 yards. James Davis added three receptions for 29 yards. Jaylen Berry caught one pass for 33 yards. James Davis returned three kickoffs for 53 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Kareem Guerrant returned one kickoff for 21 yards. Hayden Heath led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles. Ty Miller added three solo and six assisted tackles. Kareem Guerrant recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 15 yards.

Henry Clay rolled up 546 yards of total offense in a 47-27 victory over Lafayette. Henry Clay recorded 27 first downs and 546 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized nine times for 127 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted. Lafayette recorded 14 first downs and 265 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized six times for 72 yards.

Jacob Childress led Henry Clay’s ground game with 292 yards and three touchdowns on 34 carries. Kyan Miller added 30 yards and a touchdown on his only carry. Blake VanHorn completed nine of 17 passes for 204 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. Malcolm Paul caught five passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. L. Barrentine added two receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown. Jack Kreutzer caught a 35 yard touchdown pass. Jack Kreutzer returned two punts for 40 yards with a long return of 30 yards. Jayden Bailey returned four kickoffs for 62 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Walden Cole returned one kickoff for 18 yards. Donovan Cowan led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles. Kyan Miller, Luke Bailey, and Trace Olmstead each recorded four solo tackles with two of Miller’s tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.

Dez Hanley led Lafayette’s ground game with 97 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Mac King completed eight of 23 passes for 136 yards and one touchdown. Kevin Amuri caught two passes for 75 yards and a touchdown. Terrrazae Taylor returned three kickoffs for 70 yards with a long return of 29 yards. P. Thurman returned three kickoffs for 72 yards with a long return of 29 yards. Dez Hanley led the defense with nine solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Felix Brady added six solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble he returned six yards for a touchdown. E. Pierre-Louis recorded four solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Tony Howard added three solo and three assisted tackles with one ofhis tackles resulting in a seven yard loss. Matthew Hardin recovered a fumble and Kevin Amuri interceped two passes he returned for 12 yards.

Scott County scored 36 points in the first quarter on their way to a 55-0 victory over Grant County. Scott County recorded 12 first downs and 276 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized twice for 30 yards. Grant County recorded six first downs and 119 yards of total offense. Grant County was not penalized tonight, lost a fumble, and had one pass intercepted.

Jacob Fryman led Scott County’s ground game with 49 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Kayne Garrett carried the ball seven times for 48 yards and a touchdown. Ty Whitehead recorded 44 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. Thomas Feickert and Ellis Huguely ran for touchdowns of nine and eight yards respectively. Andrew Hickey completed three of three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. Isaac York caught one pass for 28 yards and a touchdown. DaQuis Brown added one reception for 25 yards. Logan Jones returned one kickoff for 86 yards ad a touchdown. Cam Keller led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles with 4.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Jackson Damron added two solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. AJ Wands intercepted a pass he returned for 43 yards.

Landon Fulgham led Grant County’s groud game with 20 yards on five carries. Cameron Duncan completed eight of 14 passes for 98 yards with one interception. Kaleb Dionne caught three passes for 57 yards. Shawn Lawhun added two receptions for 29 yards. Kaleb Dionne returned four kickoffs for 51 yards with a long return of 16 yards. Bryson Webster returned three kickoffs for 36 yards with a long return of 16 yards. Dillon Baker returned one kickoff for 23 yards. Bryson Webster led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles. Cason Patrick and Skylar Xakayone each recorded four solo tackles.

Knox Central defeated Bourbon County by the score of 62-61 in one of the highest combined score total in KHSAA history. Knox Central recorded 35 first downs and 488 yards of total offense. They were penalized four time for 20 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Bourbon County recorded 17 first downs and 367 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 40 yards and lost a fumble.

Steve Partin led Knox Central’s ground game with 316 yards and six touchdowns on 52 carries. Gavin Miracle carried the ball eight times for 46 yards and a touchdown. Steve Partin completed seven of 11 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown with one interception. KT Turner caught two passes for 56 yards and a touchdown. Gavin Chadwell added four receptions for 41 yards. KT Turner returned four kickoffs for 169 yards and a touchdown return of 80 yards. KT Turner led the defense with six solo tackles. Cayden Collins added five solo and one assisted tackles. Gavin Chadwell recorded five solo tackles. Brady Mills chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Josh Moody led Bourbon County’s ground game with 120 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries. Clay Estes carried the ball four times for 39 yards and a touchdown. Clay Estes completed 12of 16 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Moody caught four passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Floyd added three receptions for 63 yards. Cam Ron Goodwin added two receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Floyd returned three kickoffs for 136 yards including an 80 yard return for a touchdown. Cam Ron Goodwin led the defense with 12 solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Jaden Moody added nine solo and two assisted tackles. JoshMoody recorded six solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

Cutter Boley completed 20 of 33 passes for 380 yards and five touchdowns with one interception. Evan Brown caught six passes for 107 yards and one touchdown. Parker Chaney added five receptions for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Will Nichols caught two passes for 89 yards and one touchdown. Will Rich caught four passes for 39 yards and one touchdown.
