If you like offense Henderson KY was the place to be on Friday night. McCracken County and Henderson County slugged it out o offense with McCracken County earning a 55-42 victory over the home team with the two teams combining for 97 points and 932 yards of total offense. McCracken County recorded 23 first downs and 502 yards of total offense. The Mustangs were penalized 10 times for 86 yards and lost a fumble. Henderson County recorded 22 first downs and 430 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized eight times for 48 yards and lost a fumble.
Landon Newman led the McCracken County ground game with 215 yards and three touchdowns on 29 carries. Elijah Pullen carried the ball three times for 40 yards and a touchdown. Maddox O’Neal completed 12 of 18 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns. Jakari Matchem caught five passes for 142 yards and three touchdowns. Jude Lanier caught four passes for 78 yards and a touchdown. Reed Brookshire recorded two catches for 22 yards. Sam Goodman led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles. Lukas Hoffman added two solo and seven assisted tackles. Reed Brookshire recorded four solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Kaine Rose chipped in with two solo and five assisted tackles. Hunter Neely recorded one solo and five assisted tackles.
Jack Dalton led the Henderson County ground game with 79 yards on 15 carries. Brody Belt carried the ball five times for 44 yards. Anzerion Marigny recorded 36 yards on 10 carries. Jack Ryan Reusch carried the ball eight times for 31 yards and three touchdowns. Brody Belton completed 12 of 23 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns. Jack Ryan Reusch caught three passes for 83 yards and a touchdown. Anzerion Marigny added two receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown. Hezekiah Harris recorded three receptions for 25 yards. Avant Baxter chipped in with two catches for 35 yards. Jack Dalton caught one pass for 17 yards. Christian Haygan added an 11 yard touchdown pass. Zarian Rideout led the defense with 12 tackles and Myron Wright recorded 11 tackles.
