Frederick Douglass defeated George Rogers Clark by the score of 41-7. Frederick Douglass recorded 15 first downs and 224 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized four times for 50 yards. George Rogers Clark recorded 16 first downs and 240 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 56 yards and had a pass intercepted,
Dakari Talbert led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 54 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Carter Ross carried the ball three times for 25 yards. Jeremiah Brown recorded 23 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Jeremiah Turner chipped in with 22 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Sheldon Wright carried the ball twice for 14 yards. Kane Pointer carried the ball once for 11 yards. Jayden Guzman completed seven of 12 passes for 57 yards and a touchdown. Brady Ross completed two of three passes for 18 yards. Terry Cayson caught three passes for 17 yards and a touchdown. DeAndre Clay added two receptions for 14 yards. Jackson Ross recorded one catch for 23 yards. Caleb Gentry added one catch for 13 yards. Cionne Conn returned one punt for 40 yards. Thurman Wade and Tim Jackson each recorded five solo and one assisted tackles to lead the offense. Cionne Conn and Tacori Fields added four solo and one assisted tackles. Tacori Fields scored a touchdown on an 88 yard blocked field goal return. Phillip Higgins added four solo tackles and scored on a 37 yard interception return.
S. Davidson led GRC’s ground game with 101 yards on 17 carries. Braylon Nester carried the ball 15 times for 53 yards. Landon Belcher recorded 43 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Carter Muzic completed three of 14 passes for 31 yards with one interception. Braylon Nester caught three passes for 31 yards. Zay Leaval returned two kickoffs for 38 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Braylon Nester returned one kickoff for 15 yards. Athias Morris returned one kickoff for 13 yards. S. Davidson led the defense with eight solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Tripp Cecil added four solo tackles. Jake Thompson recorded two solo and one assisted tackles.
