Madison Southern defeated Henry Clay by the score of 18-6 in a game marred by turnovers and penalties. Henry Clay lost three fumbles and had two passes intercepted while Madison Southern was penalized 10 times for 88 yards. Madison Southern recorded 14 first downs and 184 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized 10 times for 88 yards and lost a fumble. Henry Clay recorded nine first downs and 169 yards of total offense.

Semaje DeShields led Madison Southern’s ground game with 102 yards on 21 carries. Gabe Beard carried the ball 11 times for 36 yards and two touchdowns. Brayden Hall carried the ball once for 11 yards. Gabe Beard completed two of five passes for 57 yards and one touchdown. David McCoy caught a 49 yard touchdown pass. Cayden Chasteen returned one kickoff for 19 yards. Taven Rader led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. David McCoy added four solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 12 yards. Kaiden Kirk recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Brayden Hall chipped in with four solo tackles. Elliot Smith and Judah Storie each recovered a fumble. Sevin Rader intercepted a pass.

Aiden Huston led Henry Clay’s ground game with 33 yards on 12 carries. Safal Gurung carried the ball eight times for 27 yards. Aiden Huston completed eight of 19 passes for 90 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions. Chaii Paris caught four passes for 42 yards and a touchdown. Vinny Kirl caught three passes for 44 yards. Jermar Cowherd, Marcus Owens, and Zoe’Marion Smith each returned a kickoff for 29,12, and 11 yards respectively. Julian Lopez led the defense with four solo and five assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. James Reynolds added two solo and seven assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Marcus Owens recorded five solo and two assisted tackles. Zach Hoellein added three solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Pacifique Nduwaye recorded two solo and five assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.
