Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Za’Kiyah Johnson, 5-8 Sr. Caroline Osting, 6-0 Sr. Morgan Frey,5-5 So. Amirah “Tootie: Jordan, and 5-7 Fr. Riley Gilvin. Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly countered with 5-8 8th Grade Tamia Waide, 5-8 So. Peighton Okorley, 6-0 So. Jaylee Knowles, 5-6 Jr. Mikalee Bennett, and 5-8 Jr. Reagan Gregonis.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Frederick Douglass by the score of 77-61. There were three lead changes and two ties in this game. Sacred Heart shot 45% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 18 of 23 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 24 Frederick Douglass turnovers. Frederick Douglass shot 37% from the field including two of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Broncos connected on 19 of 31 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Za’Kiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart Academy with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists. “Tootie” Jordan added 17 points including six of eight free throws, five assists, and three steals. Riley Gilvin recorded 14 points including six of eight free throws, seven rebounds, and four assists. 5-7 Fr. Tahri Ralston chipped in with 14 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two assists. Morgan Frey recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and five steals.

Jaylee Knowles led Frederick Douglass with 18 points and seven rebounds. Tamia Waide added 15 points including seven of 10 free throws, three rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Peighton Okorley recorded 12 points including four of six free throws, and nine rebounds. Reagan Gregonis chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets. Mikalee Bennett recorded six points, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
