Sayre coach Rob Goodman started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Chase Parker, 6-0 Sr. Brock Coffman, 6-6 Sr. Jaxson Howard, 5-11 Sr. Luke Pennington, and 6-0 Sr. John Palumbo. Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-4 Jr. Jackson Stephan, 6-3 Sr. Kade Hilander, 6-5 Sr. Hassan Bush, 6-0 Sr. Kayson Brown, and 6-2 Sr. AJ Dixon.

John Palumbo hit a three point basket at the buzzer to give Sayre a big 57-54 victory over Henry Clay in overtime. The score was tied 47-47 at the end of regulation. There were 10 lead changes and 11 ties in the game. Sayre shot 46.7% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line. The Spartans connected on 10 of 23 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 34% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 Sayre turnovers.

Jaxson Howard led Sayre with 15 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocked shots. Chase Parker added 12 points and four rebounds. 6-5 Jr. Sayvion Staley recorded 11 points including two three point baskets, and five rebounds. Brock Coffman chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds. John Palumbo added seven points and two rebounds.

Kayson Brown led Henry Clay with 18 points on six three point baskets. Jackson Stephan added 13 points including nine of 11 free throws, five rebounds, three assists, and four steals. AJ Dixon recorded 13 points including seven of eight free throws, four rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Hassan Bush chipped in with six points and six rebounds.
