Covington Holy Cross coach Ted Arlinghaus started the following lineup: 5-9 So. Alyssa Arlinghaus, 5-8 Sr. Aumani Nelson, 5-10 So. Dmyah Williams, 5-3 Sr. Aniyah Carter, and 5-4 Fr. Jai Johnson. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 Sr. Za’Kiyah Johnspn, 5-10 Jr. Brianna Wilkins, 6-0 Sr. Morgan Frey, 5-5 So. Amirah “Tootie” Jordan, and 5-8 Sr. Caroline Osting.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Covington Holy Cross by the score of 84-49. Sacred Heart Academy shot 61.5% from the field including nine of 15 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 20 Covington Holy Cross turnovers. Covington Holy Cross shot 36.7% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 21 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Tootie” Jordan led Sacred Heart Academy with 22 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Za’Kiyah Johnson added 20 points, eight rebounds, and three steals. 5-7 Fr. Riley Gilvin recorded 12 points including three of four free throws, four rebounds, and two assists. Brianna Wilkins chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, five assists, three blocked shots, and two steals. Morgan Frey added six points, five rebounds, and two assists.

Dmyah Williams led Covington Holy Cross with 13 points including five of six free throws, two rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals. Aumani Nelson added 10 points including four of four free throws, two rebounds, and three steals. Alyssa Arlinghaus recorded nine points, five rebounds, and two steals. Aniyah Carter chipped in with eight points, two assists, and two steals. Jai Johnson recorded five points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
