Madison Southern coach Steve Wright started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Mason Davis, 5-10 Jr. Zach Adams, 6-2 So. Jordan Dunaway. 5-8 Sr. Casen Nobbe, and 5-10 Sr. Micah Whitaker. Bryan Station coach Champ Ligon countered with 6-3 Jr. Taeshawn Adams, 6-1 Jr. Amari Owens, 6-6 Sr. Antowone Burton, 5-10 Sr. Justin Richmond, and 5-11 Sr. Rashaad Faulkner.
Bryan Station defeated Madison Southern by the score of 75-66. Bryan Station shot 43.4% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on 23 of 31 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 10 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 43.1% from the field including 13 of 28 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Bryan Station turnovers.
Rashaad Faulkner led Bryan Station with 21 points including three three point baskets, four of four free throws, and three rebounds. Taeshawn Adams added 19 points including five of seven free throws, eight rebounds, and two assists. Amari Owens recorded 15 points including two three point baskets, seven of 10 free throws, two assists, and two steals. Justin Richmond chipped in with seven points, four rebounds, and three assists. 6-7 Sr. Brunley Fon recorded eight points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Antowone Burton added three points, 11 rebounds, and two assists.
Casen Nobbe led Madison Southern with 30 points including five three point baskets, five of six free throws, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Micah Whitaker added nine points on three three point baskets, and five rebounds. Zach Adams also scored nine points on three three point baskets. 6-2 Fr. Derek Helton chipped in with nine points, two rebounds, and two assists.
