Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Erik Daniels started the following lineup: 5-7 So. Riley Smith, 5-4 Fr. Sydney Yaden, 6-0 Jr. Ava Rankin, 5-4 So. Layla Flynn, and 5-3 7th Grade Kyah Curtsinger. Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-7 So. Brooke Campbell, 5-4 Jr. Skylar Collinsworth, 5-9 Sr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-7 Sr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Sr. Nataya Strader.

Madison Central defeated the injury plagued Paul Laurence Dunbar by the score of 85-50. Madison Central shot 53.2% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 40 points off 24 Dunbar turnovers. Dunbar shot 36.2% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Bulldogs connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 11 Madison Central turnovers.

Cameryn Ridderikhoff led Madison Central with 30 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Nataya Strader added 24 points including five of five free throws, three rebounds, and three assists. Brittany Campbell recorded seven points, eight rebounds, eight assists, and two steals. 5-6 Sr. Tiana Long chipped in with seven points, three rebounds, and two assists. Brooke Campbell recorded three points, nine rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Layla Flynn led Dunbar with 15 points including four of four free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Kyah Curtsinger added seven points. 5-3 So. Armonie Rush also scored seven points. Ava Rankin recorded four points and six rebounds. Sydney Yaden chipped in with four points and four rebounds.
