Frederick Douglass coach Murray Garvin started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Aveion Chenault, 6-2 Sr. Jaunte Jenkins, 6-2 Sr. Logan Busson, 6-2 Jr. Tate Robinson, and 6-4 Jr. DeMarcus Surratt. Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-4 Jr. Jackson Stephan, 6-2 Sr. AJ Dixon, 6-5 Sr. Hassan Bush, 5-10 Sr. Trevor Evans, and 6-0 Sr. Kayson Brown.

Henry Clay outscored Frederick Douglass 14-3 in overtime to earn an 83-72 victory. The score was tied 69-69 at the end of regulation. Henry Clay shot 49.1% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line. The Blue Devils connected on 21 of 35 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Frederick Zdouglass turnovers. Frederick Douglass shot 38.3% from the field including nine of 30 from beyond the arc. The Broncos connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.

Jackson Stephan led Henry Clay with 26 points including nine of 11 free throws, 14 rebounds, three assists, and three steals. AJ Dixon added 18 points, five rebounds, and three steals. Kayson Brown recorded 16 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists. Hassan Bush chipped in with 12 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. 6-3 Sr. Kade Hilander added eight points, four rebounds, and three assists.

DeMarcus Surratt led Frederick Douglass with 22 points including three three point baskets, five of seven free throws, four rebounds, and five assists. Jaunte Jenkins added 19 points including eight of eight free throws, four rebounds, and two steals. Aveion Chenault recorded 10 points including four of five free throws, two rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals. 5-10 So. Dakari Talbert chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals.
