Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-8 Sr, Caroline Osting, 6-0 Sr. Morgan Frey, 5-4 So. Amirah “Tootie” Jordan, and 5-10 Jr. Brianna Wilkins. Highlands coach Jaime Richey countered with 5-10 Jr. Kate Bucher, 5-9 Jr. Avery Barber, 6-3 Sr. Marissa Green, 5-2 Fr. Maren Orme, and 5-6 Jr. Kaylee Mills.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Highlands by the score of 74-63. Sacred Heart shot 50.9% from the field including nine of 17 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Highlands turnovers. Highlands shot 44.2% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc. The Bluebirds connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart Academy with 27 points including four three point baskets, and seven rebounds. Morgan Frey added 14 points, 13 rebounds, and two steals. Amirah Jordan recorded 14 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Brianna Williams chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, six assists, and five steals.

Maren Orme led Highlands with 22 points including eight of nine free throws, and three steals. Marissa Green added 19 points including five of seven free throws, 13 rebounds, and two assists. Kaylee Mills recorded eight points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists.
